Keep eye on Treaty of Lisbon

What you say does the sale of snuff and a little tussle about that between the 30,000 folks in the Aland Islands and Finland then scoping to the broader EU/European Union have to do with the United States, Canada, and the most corrupt government on earth, Mexico? Well, everything, especially when you toss in the disgusting United Nations and consider the developing North American Union. You see, everyone wants to control you and me and everything we "can do" from breathing to sleeping to selling snuff, to duck hunting, and to populating our respective nations with cultures so foreign to us as to destroy our United States Constitution, the rule of United States law WITHIN our borders, and make our US Supreme Court a "mock" court and each and everyone of our STATEs just another tax collector with no legislative power or responsibilities at all. Certainly no accountability to us - we the people. No, we need to keep an eye on the Treaty of Lisbon - I recommend adding it to your Google News Alert list - and we need to watch as nations say goodbye to any semblance of responsibility to their people. An example is insurance. The farther away the receiver of the "insurance benefit" gets from the giant bureaucracy that controls the benefit, the more layers of stops to keep you away from receiving responsible treatment, etc. Aland Islands to "snuff" Treaty of Lisbon And additionally, it looks like Ireland (God bless 'em) will vote NO on the Treaty of Lisbon, A NO vote will keep us strong. Most of the discussion centers around national sovereignty (sound familiar). The difference is that our NAFTA is seen as an "agreement" and not a "treaty" and the North American Union is proceeding at a pace with no votes from American citizens at all. Have you had a chance to vote on the North American Union? No, and don't look for that to ever happen! Several European nations are fighting hard now that they are seeing the effects of their wide-open borders, the Islamification of their nations, and the EU is not looking all that good. We, on the other hand, have been duped. Our leaders saw the mistakes of the EU and it will be a freezing cold day in Hell before we'll ever get to say a work about the North American Union. We'll just have to suck it up, learn Spanish, and continue to watch our dollar fall - one point to keep in mind is that, like our willingness to give up our freedoms for "the illusion of security" and our willingness to accept whatever our government shovels at us in the way of "amnesty" - yes, like McCain says, "They're all God's children" including the terrorists flooding across our borders who want to kill us - the falling dollar could be used to make us "call" for a more stable "Amero". Oh, how the mighty fall when they let others control their sovereignty and their destiny. ~~~~~ I'm not certain if this is the UN document that has destroyed European nations or not. Please advise which UN document has opened the EU nations to having to let anyone - except white folks from the United States - migrate into their nations:Universal Declaration on Human Rights. By the way, if you are a "white" European trying to escape the Islamic invasion by migrating into the United States, good luck with that. I could be wrong but I don't think "white" Europeans are welcome in the United States - not anymore and not if you speak English and would not be a financial burden upon America's social services network.

Congress - please end Mexican trucking into the US

In an article printed in The Washington Times, Hill urged to keep Mexican trucks legal, Congress is urged not to end the Mexican trucking program into the United States that began September 4, 2007 and has not been funded for 2008. I urge the Congress to halt the program. American lives are at risk on our highways by Mexican truckers who are driving faulty trucks and according to Geraldo Rivera, possibly driving drunk because according to Geraldo, Mexican men drive drunk - it's a cultural thing. Approximately 12,000 Americans are killed by illegal aliens, many drunk drivers here illegally from Mexico. That is 4 times the number of Americans killed by terrorists at the World Trade Centers on 9/11 and occurs annually. Four times, and nary a word. The mainstream media gnashes its teeth marking each and every death of an American soldier killed in Iraq but stands mute on the deaths of Americans being perpetrated by illegals and drunk Mexican drivers on OUR OWN SOIL in OUR OWN COUNTRY. We are being put at risk by our own government and I call upon Congress to stop it. Because of these Mexican truckers, I fear for family members who must travel to work daily on some of our busiest interstates. Interestingly,
"the (teamsters) union argued that the Transportation Department acted outside its authority by continuing the program. The union and its supporters also said Mexico has not upgraded its truck-inspection facilities or enforced safety regulations to meet U.S. standards. U.S. trucking groups renewed their criticism of the cross-border program after yesterday's press conference. "Safety standards in Mexico simply are not on par with those in the United States, and few U.S. trucking companies even appear interested in going south," said Todd Spencer, vice president of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, a Grain Valley, Mo., trade group.
Interesting that our drivers don't want to go into Mexico. Could it be because Mexico is arguably the most corrupt government on the planet. So once again, the Bush Administration has overstepped its bounds and violated Congressional restrictions, while continuing to put us at risk. If our president will NOT defend our nation as he has proved at every turn that he will not and will VIOLATE his oath of office for a few dollars, then I call upon Congress to do its duty and protect us. For many years now, I have actually felt safer on our highways knowing that American truckers were there with me - ready to help me if I needed their help. Now, Mexican truckers are allowed to enter the United States, take jobs from our trucker citizens, and put our lives at risk. Soon, with the SPP highway from lower Mexico cutting through the United States into Canada, shipping will be or can be diverted from our ports to the ports of Mexico, once again putting American jobs in jeopardy, challenging our national sovereignty, and adding to the risk of national security. It is time to enter into fair trade, not trade "agreements" designed to destroy the manufacturing and producing capabilities of the United States and to destroy the infra-structure of our job base. Our Founding Fathers said we were to trade with anyone we liked FAIRLY but that did not mean giving up our sovereignty nor putting our citizens lives at risks. I realize I am fighting a battle that already seems lost because politicians confuse the term "globalization" to mean the loss of freedoms, borders, and national sovereignty. Well, I still have breath in my body and my fingers can still fight for our lives and our sovereignty through this keyboard. I ask you to join with me. We are fighting many battles and we are surrounded by a cacophony of noise and as a friend called it "cognitive dissonance." She is right but we can find our way through if we keep our eye on the prize: A free United States of America; a nation bound by one language, English; and a people joined in the American Culture, a culture unique around the world. It is a culture formed in our willingness to leave the old ways behind and strike out for individual responsibility with less government controlling our every breath . God bless our troops; our border patrol; and God bless the men and women working everyday to keep our nation strong. And our government whose leaders are kicking us to the curb, well, you fill in that part.

Thomas Jefferson and National Sovereignty - 2008

The following is a missive written by my Left Coast Operative, speaking on behalf of Thomas Jefferson and what he and his brave brothers and sisters contemplate regarding how far afield we, as a people, have strayed from the promise of our birth.
Mr Dearest Doctor,
I fear your delicate wrath presuming to address you in this manner from the grave. Nonetheless, I am compelled to call upon the righteous wit of one of our republic's remaining sane citizens.

Ten score and five years my vision, God' providence and France's folly, gave me leave to double the geographic size of our nation. (The Louisiana Purchase) After a brilliant but brief experience with manifest destiny, you seemed to have filled up the space with nimrods and myopic pantywaists.

Good God, woman, we trembled when we gave the power to the people lest they turn astray with disdain from the Divine Morality revealed by God in scripture but we had no idea they would dispose of not only God, Himself, but their own unborn millions.

How far and how fast has the evil one led you past redemption!
We have met again on the other side and have concluded there is no merit in your image on the far pane of the glass. Our trust was misplaced, our faith betrayed, and our hearts broken, not for us, for we were brave, but for you. We are mistaken!
You have not the Wisdom to steward the gift.

Sincerely,

Thomas Jefferson P.S. What is with the cockamamy 82 cents to mail this missive? For such treasure, I could have doubled poor Merriweather's provisions.
How far have we strayed? How derelict have we been in squandering the gift, our birthright? And are we strong enough, as a people, to take our nation back, to educate ourselves, to restrain ourselves when handed the crumbs of "half measures" from a beneficent government that has seemingly replaced God and sucked from us the very strength we have been given from God to build this great nation and to keep it. As George Washington recommended: trade fairly with whomever we will. He said nothing about giving up our heritage, our individual freedoms and responsibilities, and our national sovereignty to trade. He would have thought us MAD to enter into NAFTA - couched as an agreement, not even a treaty which requires 2/3 approval from the Senate. Even judges can't get an up-or-down simple majority vote these days but an "agreement" with one of the most corrupt governments on earth to shred this nation, making us just a "rest stop" on the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) highway, is passed by a vote of 200 to 234 in the House and 61 to 38 in the Senate. Our nation thrown away on semantics by a man who would have us understand what the meaning of "is" is. [Rest assured President Bill Clinton is not alone in the measures on-going to destroy or to "remake" this great nation into road stop.] Have we so eagerly allowed our great Constitution to be shredded before our eyes - the ONLY one of its kind ever written. The promise has always been one of "opportunity", not guaranteed outcome - the latter diminishes us all and paves the way to slavery! ~~~~~ Cross-posted at Eternity Road.

Stop the North American Union

The following article is one you may not have seen and may find interesting: The Coming North American Parliament. Maybe it's time for the Minutemen to get busy, busier finding those barrels of tea we need to dump into the Massachusetts Bay.

NAFTA, American Sovereignty, and You by John W. Wallace

I received the following comment in response to a post I did some time earlier - State of the North American Union Address 2008. The comment is from a man running for Congress in New York State - John W. Wallace AMERICAN SOVEREIGNTY AND THE NORTH AMERICAN UNION The term FREE TRADE is usually defined as the absence of tariffs, quotas, or other governmental barriers to international trade. There is no doubt that some recent free trade agreements have not been very good for the American worker. On the other hand, the agreements have been great for the large multinational corporations, particularly those that have moved their manufacturing plants from the United States to China, Mexico and other low-wage countries where they can hire people there for a few dollars a week. These corporations can now produce their products without worrying about the costs of meeting OSHA requirements, providing employee health care or pensions for its workers and then they can bring their products back into the USA to sell. These products oftentimes are not made to the same quality standards as when they were produced in America and as recents incidents involving Chineese imports have shown, these products can pose health hazards to Americans as well. The supporters of many free trade agreements, particularly the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), have always promised increased exports, better jobs and better wages. Under many of these free trade agreements, however, just the opposite has occurred. Under NAFTA, for example, the U.S. trade deficit has soared and now averages $55-65 Billion dollars per month; the U.S. has lost over a million manufacturing jobs and real wages in both the U.S. and Mexico have fallen significantly. In short, NAFTA has not been a friend to the citizenry of either the United States or Mexico. In 2005, a new mechanism was created to speed the further expansion of the NAFTA free trade agreement into a North American Union. It is called the Strategic and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP)’ The SPP is designed to facilitate the establishment of a North America Union through the “economic integration” of the US, Mexico and Canada. The most important feature of the SPP is that it does not require congressional ratification or the passage of any federal legislation by the congress of the United States. This design places the negotiation fully within the authority of the executive branch in the United States. How else would Mexican truckers be able to begin operating in the USA over the objections of Congress, American truckers and most of the American people? The people and their elected representatives in congress no longer seem to have a voice when it comes to international trade. This is definitely a national sovereignty issue. International trade issues that affect 300+ million Americans should be made by the people’s representatives in Congress, not by a handful of government bureaucrats and corporate elites who use their government connections to bypass congress and ignore our Constitution, which expressly grants Congress the sole authority to regulate international trade. The goal of these international trade elite is to create an integrated North American Union, complete with a currency, a cross-national bureaucracy, and virtually borderless travel within the proposed Union. Like the European Union, a North American Union would represent another step toward the destruction of our national sovereignty. A free America, with limited, constitutional government, would just be a memory. Not all free trade agreements are bad, but I believe that the United States of America must withdraw from any international agreements that infringe upon the freedom, sovereignty and independence of the American people. By: JOHN W. WALLACE Candidate for Congress New York’s 20th Congressional District www.johnwallaceforcongress.com ~~~~~ I agree with Mr. Wallace. If you are in his district, maybe you will agree with him too.

Eagle Pass to Hazleton, PA: "Sodomize you and your citizens too!"

Texas cities oppose border fence, by Jerry Seper. Well, fine. To the mayor of Eagle Pass, how about forking over the money and sending a few dozen of your police and emergency services folks up to Hazleton, PA to help out the citizens there who are being over-run with crime by illegals and are watching the depletion of their city services. This illegal alien "thing" isn't about you and your fine little 45,000 citizen town where everyone just gets along. It is about the rest of us getting screwed, blued, dyed, and tattooed by illegals from everywhere using up our services, demanding that we have people who speak 200 different languages in our hospitals and police departments, killing us on the highways through drunk driving fatalities, and committing crimes in our once-safe neighborhoods. And, oh, by the way: we are supposed to be a nation of laws. What do you think would be happening to 12 - 20,000,000 Americans if we were invading Mexico? We won't be gettin' no stinkin' services, hombre. We'd be in Mexican jails, held hostage, and our relatives in the US would be going broke trying to get us out of Mexico, stupido. We are either a nation of laws or we aren't! If we aren't, then let's just shut down the FBI, DEA, ATF, TSA, and all the rest of the alphabet agencies who have files out the gazoo on all law-abiding citizens but don't seem to be able to find an illegal working right in our airports or sweeping their hallowed halls.

FISA, National Security. and Mexican Trucking

FISA considered enough to maintain national security, here. National security, maybe, but the government has given up defending national sovereignty and is certainly not fighting the drug cartels threatening our southern border region. Even worse, our government is embarked upon a "trial" program that currently allows Mexican truckers carte blanc with open access to our highways. Right now; not coming soon; right here, right now. It's almost funny - all the to do about warrants for intercepting communications traffic of terrorists that travels over networks across the nation when terrorists are pouring into our nation on a daily basis. And the program in effect NOW, Bumpy ride in court for trucking program, places the Bush Administration in violation of laws passed by Congress to curtail the program. So what else is new? If our government is not putting us in jeopardy one way, it is risking our lives and jobs in another way. Thank you Clinton and NAFTA...thank you, Bush Administration for continuing this insanity. Bush Legacy - destruction of The United States of America's sovereignty. Our government has got its head so far up its back-side and certainly has its wires crossed when it comes to protecting our nation from invasion, from loss of jobs, and from letting drug cartel violence spill across our borders. Thanks! Our tax dollars at work. Nikita Kruschev said we'd fall from within; he didn't say our own government would pull the plug on us... Do you ever feel like we're "circling the drain" due to the lunacy of our leadership? I do and there is no where to turn. With the exception of Huckabee, every presidential candidate is for open borders. And our citizens and our brave Border Patrol along with others are being led to the slaughter - thanks to Vicente, George, and Paul.

Britains need to vote on participation in the EU

From the Telegraph, Let the English people decide, a request is going out to allow the British people to vote on a referendum regarding the EU. ~~~~~~~~~~ EU petition: Let the people decide Posted at: 17:20 We believe that the EU Reform Treaty will make significant changes to the way in which Britain is governed, permanently alienating powers from Westminster to Brussels, notably through: - A European Head of State - An EU diplomatic corps and foreign minister - A common system of criminal justice and a European Public Prosecutor - The abolition of 40 national vetoes - Bestowing on the EU the ‘legal personality’ and treaty-making powers of a sovereign state - Reducing Britain’s voting strength in Council of Ministers meetings by 30 per cent All three parties promised a referendum on such changes at the 2005 general election. We believe that they should stand by their manifesto commitments, and that the Reform Treaty should come into effect only following approval in a national referendum. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you have a comment to make, please go to the link. The British people need to be allowed to vote and to have a voice in their destiny as a nation or see their nation go by the wayside. I have left a comment because we need England as an ally and the EU is designed to end all of that as well as the nation-state as we know it.

S.1639, the Senate Judiciary - who voted against America's workers, America's poor, and America's minority workers

A number of "perks and benefits" bills addressing illegal aliens and jobs to under-cut the American worker have been referred, S.1639 and her ugly step-sisters, over the past several years to the Senate Judiciary Committee for the 110th Senate/Congress. I decided to take a look at how these committee members voted on the cloture vote to end debate on the "amnesty bill" S.1639. A "NAY" vote on cloture, June 28, 2007, was a vote for the American worker, for national sovereignty, for English as our common language, and for our American culture. Bottom line, we just can't give up. Further skulduggery is lurking to pounce on us at any time. At least, unlike S. 1639, some bills are in committee. Senate Judiciary Committee - 110th Congress: YEA - Patrick J. Leahy - CHAIRMAN, D-VERMONT YEA - Edward M. Kennedy - D-MASSACHUSETTS * YEA - Arlen Specter - RANKING MEMBER, R-PENNSYLVANIA (Republican) YEA - Joseph R. Biden, Jr. - D-DELAWARE (up for re-election 2008) YEA - Herb Kohl - D-WISCONSIN YEA - Dianne Feinstein - D-CALIFORNIA * YEA - Jon Kyl - R-ARIZONA (Republican) YEA - Russell D. Feingold - D-WISCONSIN YEA - Charles E. Schumer - D-NEW YORK * YEA - Lindsey Graham - R-SOUTH CAROLINA (Republican) (up for re-election 2008) YEA - Richard J. Durbin - D-ILLINOIS (up for re-election 2008) YEA - Benjamin L. Cardin - D-MARYLAND YEA - Sheldon Whitehouse - D-RHODE ISLAND NAY - Orrin G. Hatch - R-UTAH NAY - Charles E. Grassley - R-IOWA NAY - Jeff Sessions - R-ALABAMA NAY - John Cornyn - R-TEXAS NAY - Sam Brownback - R-KANSAS NAY - Tom Coburn - R-OKLAHOMA The Senators - both Democrats and Republicans(*) who voted YEA - who voted against American Workers, America's poor, and America's minority workers are the ones who have you in their "hip pocket", expect your vote while at the same time they work to make you dependent upon them and upon government handouts. You are better than that. In November 2008, vote NO on the Senators up for re-election who voted against you.

S.1639 - American people go to the mats and WIN

Today is a great day for the American people and for our democratic republic. Today, through phone calls and e-mails and letters, many of our Senators heard us and answered the call. The call for what - for an "open congress", for validation of the "rule of law", and for the elected officials to honor their sworn oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. Today, I say to you, my fellow citizens and our citizen-statesmen in the Senate who voted against the "motion to cut off debate," Happy Birthday! Happy 4th of July! We can go into our Fourth of July Celebration knowing that we have seen the "voice of the people" ring true and clear across the land. We want border control and security. We want integrity in government. We want the fence built. We want illegal alien criminals and terrorists deported, and we want illegal aliens to be deported or to return to their nations of origin. Period. To the illegal aliens, leave on your own and then, if you want to come back, to become Americans without hyphens, go to an American Consulate and apply. You and you alone can put the "coyotes" who rape your women out of business; you can bankrupt the drug cartels who use you to smuggle drugs into this nation; you can restore security to the border that would be yours by following the law and coming here to become an American. Further, when you come here legally, you can demand a fair wage for your hard work from the billionaire businessmen who would have you as "slaves." To the American people, we defeated "secrecy" and "duplicity" in our government. We and our statesmen-Senators said, loud and clear, NO to back room deals. Patrick Henry said, "Give me liberty or give me death!" Today, the American people said, "Give us our nation back; enforce the rule of laws on the books; and give us openness in the legislative process or we will revolt." Today, we saw a "non-violent" revolution to overthrow "facism", tryanny, and to overthrow those who would sell our nation. Believe it or not, the American people fought facism today and won. We the American people said, "NO to the North American Union." We screamed in the deafening silence of the internet, "NO to the loss of our sovereignty." Enjoy your hard-won victory and know that the "turn-coat" bastards who violate their sacred oath of office will be coming at us again - but we will prevail. We still have the Elections of 2008, 2010, and 2012 - to reinforce our will. They scream for bi-partisanship! Well, we gave it to them! Today, 37 Republicans, 15 Democrats, and 1 Independent stood firm against the juggernaut of the Kennebunkport Presidency, the Massachusetts Dynasty, and the most powerful Senators in the world. The "little mouse that roared" won!

S.1639, Beach Girl's Open Letter to the US Senate

To the Honorable members of the Senate: Americans - 80-85% of us - oppose S. 1639. We are swamping your phone lines and e-mails because our wants are simple and direct:
Americans are calling for a society of "one people united by our common English language, strengthened by our common and uniquely American culture, maintained within a secure national border."
Is that too much to ask? I know it is not too much to expect - all governed by one secular rule of law under which ALL American men and women are equal and under which a harmony of purpose and respect unites us. S. 1639, Unaccompanied Alien Child Protection Act of 2007, a.k.a. "immigration reform" does not accomplish the American goal or dream. Recently in Finland, Mikko Ellila, here, wrote a thesis: "Society consists of People" in which he said, "Biology is destiny." Simply stated, beyond any complex discussion or analysis, he is right. Our presidents - current and recent past - placate everyone who wants to alter our nation's culture either through La Raza's separatism and clear racism; through allowing known terrorist groups such as Jamaat ul-Fuqra to establish separatist and perhaps terrorist-training compounds; or through currying favor from organizations such as CAIR, with proven connections to terrorist-funding organizations such as the Holy Land Foundation, who want to "sue" or "legislate" us into submission through "hate speech" laws; or pandering to organizations who exist as front groups with ties to extremist terrorist groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood. Ted Kennedy screamed out our national motto from the floor of the Senate yesterday, "From many one" and screamed that those of us who oppose S. 1639 stand against the very heart of "E Pluribus Unum!" How tragically wrong and disingenuous he is! We are patriots; we want reform; but we want that reform in the form of several separate and distinct bills of legislation that address the illegal aliens, the visa overstays, and the criminal and terrorist aliens regardless of what method of entry they used. Americans, 80-85% of us, want legislation to address illegal aliens that has:
clear objectives; clear, direct, and measurable guidelines for implementation; and measurable goals to enhance Senate oversight.
Candidly, we are tired of presidents who "rule" through signing statements and executive orders. Americans want, love, fight and die for "E Pluribus Unum!" We abhor "Push 1 for Spanish". We abhor "Select English or Spanish" at the ATM. Americans do not want 300,000 illegal criminal aliens returned to our streets. Americans mourn the deaths of over 45,000 American citizens killed since 9/11 by illegal aliens through vehicular homicides or out-right murders. We abhor the illegal alien pedophiles, the MS-13 gangs, the non-assimilation that is occurring with increasing speed. We are a diverse society if one equates diversity with ethnicity alone, but... Diversity of ethnicity does not mean a nation of multiculturalism with each "culture" building its own separate enclaves. In New York City, for example, or in Miami's Little Havana, a person can be born and live his entire live in a separate, un-assimilated environment. Americans, 80-85% of us across economic strata, across all ethnic groups, across genders - want "E Pluribus Unum." ONE out of many! We do not want "Many out of one" as Al Gore so infamously intoned. We don't want the "two Americas" of John Edwards. And we sure as hell do NOT want the 20 or 30 ineffectual "baby" Americas S.1639 would advance. We do NOT want the North American Union; we do NOT want the NAFTA super highway... We want one America with one language, English; one American culture built from the best each of us from our pluralistic past brings to join and bind us as one; and we want our national sovereignty. To call Americans who oppose S.1639, bigots, nativists, racists, is to spit on us, to spit into the faces of our Founding Fathers who gave us our great democratic republic - even to spit upon Lady Liberty and our Flag. Passage of S.1639 is to revoke the United States of Teddy Roosevelt - with one flag, one people, one language, and loyalty to one nation - America - with no hyphens. Americans - 80-85% of us - from India, England, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Japan and all the nations our ancestors represented - we know the "immigration bill" being forced down our throats will tear this nation apart; will destroy our cohesion and access to the "American Dream" deriving from our common English language; and will ultimately end our national sovereignty. Mikko Ellila said for man, "Biology is destiny." He is right. To that I'll add that for a nation, "A united people upheld by a common language, a common culture, and a secured border is destiny." For a nation - a fractured society is no nation at all! Please defeat S.1639 and let's enforce existing law as we work with cooler, more reflective purpose to address the various components resulting from illegal alien migration. God bless America! God bless The United States of America to be precise!

Defend our Owner-Operator Independent Drivers

Our Owner-Operator Independent Drivers (ooida) are under. From the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association home page. Please go to the site and see how you can help:
Coming to a Highway Near You The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) plan to open the U.S. border with Mexico to a select group of Mexico-based motor carriers as part of a pilot or demonstration program. Section 350 of the 2002 DOT Appropriations Act requires them to assure trucks and drivers from Mexico will meet U.S. safety standards and not endanger the U.S. population while traveling on our highways. Let them know the DOT has NOT met this requirement and you are against this program. You can: - Post comments on the Federal Register - Encourage friends and family to do the same - Write a letter to your local newspaper editor Take Action NOW! Contact your representative in the U.S House and ask them to join in signing a letter against the program. Call the U.S. Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121, provide the operator with your home zip code and they will connect you with the office of your elected representative.
We have seen today that the Senate is clearly poised to pass the Unaccompanied Alien Child Protection Act of 2007. But what will be the cost to our independent truckers? What will be the cost to us? As one who travels our highways often, I have respect for our men and women who travel our highways hauling freight bringing goods to us. They need our help just as we need them. We are safer with them on the road - how many contracts will be put into jeopardy with the passage of this bill? Thank you to the owner-operator independent driver who sent this information my way. You see, it will not only be you and me whose lives will be put in jeopardy but the lives of our own truckers as well.

S. 1639 - Americans rise up and shout NO!

Through the continuing implementation of NAFTA, the SPP super highway, and the enactment of the amnesty bill - S. 1639 - hyphenated, multicultural America may soon join the EU form of reduction to the will of the UN and the light from the United States, that once "shining city on a hill", that bastion of "freedoms" may well be extinguished - for good. Today, the Senate of the United States of America will vote on the fate of the nation. Yes, the House of Representatives will have to look at the bill (S. 1639) in closed conference to work the bugs out but that may only be a perfunctory exercise in this particular case. If the Senators pass this bill as early as Thursday, the champagne will flow and our defilement will be nearly complete. If I am wrong, I'll say so but I may not live long enough to see the destruction this bill will have wrought. When signed with great fan-fare and glee, the bill will go into effect on October 1, 2008. The deed will be done; no fence will be built; our borders will be no more secure; and the "pathway" to the fall of our nation's sovereignty will be assured. The North American Union will move inexorably to completion; your passport should be for naught in this hemisphere at least; our currency will change; our language will turn us from a cohesive nation into a "Tower of Babel", and our capitulation to the "new world order" of globalism will be complete or nearly so. The Senate and the President will have served us up to the rule of the United Nations. The doorways will be open for direct UN taxes upon our income, confiscation of our guns, and a shredding of whatever remains of our US Constitution to the rule of "international law" served cold by our victorious enemies. With rulings such as Kelo vs New London, Karl Marx is rewarded as principle one of 10 of the Communist Manifesto (1848) will have been put firmly into place: "1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes." Radioactive Chief has a quotation in his header which is fitting: "A nation can survive fools, or even the ambitious but it cannot survive traitors within." - Marcus Tullius Cicero Many bloggers are quoting Theodore Roosevelt 1907 and Teddy "speak softly and carry a big stick" Roosevelt even made it into Garner's cartoon in the Washington Times (6-25-2007), again fitting for today and everyday when we look to the foundation upon which our policy and attitude of what is means to be a citizen should stand:
"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American... There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people." Theodore Roosevelt 1907
The back room deals will have been made. The American people will have been spurned; put in their place at the "back of the bus"; and shown by the President, the Senators who vote to pass this bill, "You are nothing to us. We spit on you." God bless the United States of America! God bless her military! Over the passage of time, one may look back and marvel of what had brought down a once grand nation, the hope of the world; marvel at the "monarchy" our government has become, a pasha obeisance to the UN; marvel that we became, at the turn of the 21st century, the very tyranny we had left behind on July 4, 1776. We have one hope: the American people. Americans of all ethnicities created this nation and only Americans, banning together, can make us whole again. Americans can take us out of the cloying hands of the UN. Do Americans have the will? Do Americans now see once and for all, the corruption of our "traitors" within? Will Americans take these "traitors" to task? The jury is still out and some of our elected folks seem to forget that we, the people, are the jury...
