McCain: American Top Gun!

I'm not sure but it seems that a requirement for serving in the US Senate is castration or vasectomies at the very least. So, SENATOR McCAIN - Get mad! Defend us! American citizens of all sizes, shapes, ethnicities, etc. are all being hit by this "credit crisis." Commander McCain, for goodness sake, come out slinging in this last "debate." Axe the mild-mannered Clark Kent.

• Obama has been a trainer/lawyer for ACORN, teaching them how to intimidate bankers into lending money to "risky" borrowers;

• House Democrats and the Honorable "Sweetheart Deal" Chris Dodd are up to their eyeballs in the "economic crisis" and the worldwide economic tremors we see reverberating throughout the planet.

• Throw Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Chuckie Schumer, and whomever else is culpable into jail and ask questions later. Get these guys off the street and out of Congress where they are doing so much DAMAGE.

• Bring out the info on the "real" Obama and tell us who's pulling Obama's strings. We deserve to know. Time to stop being nice, John.

SENATOR McCain - be the Navy fighter pilot who had to have guts to land on that tiny piece of metal bobbing in the ocean. Reach down deep and come out slinging. We - the American people - need a TOP GUN, not soft-spoken senator. This is the fight of your life; yes, harder than the Hanoi Hilton. This is the fight for US. Put on your Navy wings and engage, guns blazing. We need a new Sheriff in town. Let's get with it... Indirectly, Perri has given us an assignment, an assignment to sit down and give thought to why we plan to vote for our candidate. A young commentor said, "I've only now realized that I didn't know of ANY positive robust evidence to back my candidate..." I want McCain to come out slinging, true. I want the truth to come out BUT Perri's challenge is valid and crucial to each of us. Why are you casting your vote for the person you've chosen? Really, why? Are your reasons substantive? It matters.

McCain-Palin: Can answer that 3AM call!

I would venture to say that both McCain and Gov. Palin will be ready to take that 3AM call Hillary spoke of during her campaign and I would venture that Palin could step into the presidency in 2013 without batting an eyelash. While Obama is mocking us as "clinging to our guns and religion", I would submit that both helped us found our nation and both helped us beat back tyrants in WWI and WWII. McCain and Gov. Palin are taking the fight out west where guns and religion are part of everyday living. It's called survival. Obama says McCain just "doesn't get it." Well, I get it. Affirmative action punished white men and I think it has now long outlived its usefulness in terms of leveling the "playing field" because not any people I know got into Harvard or Princeton with below average qualifications just because of skin-color. If anything, they were denied the "education" Ms. Obama was given access to because of their skin-color or their gender. So, let's break that glass ceiling and put Sarah Palin in the White House as the Vice President of the United States of America, not because she is a female, but because she is qualified. Sarah Palin can answer that 3AM call because she's been doing that for 22 years as the mother of five children. She can answer that call because, as governor, she has sent men and women into battle. She's got experience hands down over Barry and Joe. Best they stay in the Senate where admittedly they can do a lot of damage but at least McCain will be able to veto their most damaging legislation. Sarah Palin is spunky and tough. And of course Hillary Clinton won't take her on as some Democrats want to happen. Why? Because Palin, as a governor, has executive experience that trumps Hillary's "experience" and because Palin advances Hillary's cause. Besides, Hillary may well meet Sarah head-on in presidential debates in 2012. Hillary won't give Sarah ammunition now that she can use against Hillary later. Hillary knows what the NOW gals don't seem to know - in politics, one must choose one's battles and battling Sarah Palin now is not in Hillary's best interest. Although Hillary cannot be seen to campaign for Sarah Palin, I don't think she'll overtly try to damage her either. We need McCain and Palin in the White House in 2009 and won't a campaign between Hillary and Sarah for the presidency in 2012 be rip-roaring great fun? Remember, that would most likely be Hillary's "last chance" and she'd be fighting like a mama bear defending its cubs. What politics! Hillary against a sitting Vice President. Whoo hoo! I'll pay to see that one. And you better believe, unlike President George W. Bush who didn't seem to groom anyone for the presidency, McCain will give Sarah Palin all the opportunities for experience that he can. I can hear that glass ceiling shattering now... Thanks for putting 18 million cracks in it, Hill. Now, the nation will take Sarah the rest of the way through.

Hillary, Obama, and Ayers?

Anyone wonder why Hillary Clinton is not stomping on Obama for being such a close friend of our home-grown terrorist, William Ayers? Well, could it be possible maybe that the wife of Mr. Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, a terrorist herself during those days of Pentagon bombings and such, was held in contempt of court and went to prison because she wouldn't name a fellow terrorist in the Weather Underground? Well, maybe. And how does this keep Hillary from stomping on Obama because of his connections to Ayers? Could it be that her husband pardoned that very same terrorist? Oh, what a den of thick and sticky tangled webs we have vying to lead our nation into Marxism... She has to let Hannity carry the water for her because her husband is up to his ears in those pardons. Both Hillary and Obama are in the cross-hairs on this terrorist connection and McCain won't touch it. Who has the spine in this election? If they won't stand up to each other on such a crucial issue, how can we rely on them to stand up to present-day, rusty sword weilding enemies in dirty nightshirts who, oh by the way, want to kill us all? Where is Mike Duncan when we need him?
