Hate Crimes: when "thoughts and opinions" are prosecuted

Oh, it is an Orwellian world in which we live. We seem to be living in a world gone mad.

Many of us have heard of the Honorable Geert Wilders of Holland and the trial he is now enduring for what? Speaking an opinion against female genital mutilation practiced by some adherents of Islam. See Wilders on Trial.

The most intolerant leadership on earth at the moment are the Islamists who whine like spoiled children if someone should even discuss the acts perpetrated under the name of Islam. For that matter, they whine like spoiled children if anyone even discusses Islam for any reason.

The Honorable Geert Wilders is being prosecuted for "hate speech" that insight "racial" or rather "ethnic disharmony" because some Islamists just have to have something to whine about and any speech that brings some practices to the table for discussion are being considered "hate speech" if spoken by infidels. Understand that such speech is already forbidden by Sharia Law within Islam. The effect is to force Sharia Law on the rest of us.

Holland should be filled with shame at this egregious assault upon human rights to freedom of opinion and speech, as well as thought. If "hate thought" were a crime, then it would seem that many Islamists who speak openly for the destruction of the West should be prosecuted.

But no that will not occur. Why? Because now is the time for Islamists to castigate anyone who does not believe as they do - politically which is the same as religiously.

Europe has itself tied up in knots and the EU and its immigration policies forced upon member nations carries much of the blame. When will people in Europe, non-Muslims, be allowed to freely move to Islamic nations bringing their religions and politics with them freely? When will such folks be given the status of rights well and beyond the rights or status of native citizens of these Islamic nations? Never.

Allow me one more thought here that may not seem germane but to me it is. This Crusade, a word used by both Muslim conquerors as well as Christian conquerors for their relative battles for world domination, is not a new "thing" to our century. It is as old as the beginnings of Islam itself. It is difficult for Christians today to understand that all or most of the Mediterranean coastal regions were at one time Christian. Many of the churches started by Paul and others were established in what is now Turkey.

To the point, I have just completed a book, Mistress of the Monarchy, by Alison Weir. Alison Weir may have written my favorite book of all the many I have read, Eleanor of Aquitaine, herself a lady who went on two Crusades and lived for nearly 100 years through the 1100s into the 1200s, Eleanor that is. (I do not have the book available to me at this time to verify the author.) In Mistress of the Monarchy, allow me to quote one paragraph dealing with John of Gaunt and one of his sons with Katherine Swynford, the Duchess of Lancaster in the 1390s, herself passing away in 1400. Page 253 in the paperback.

John (of Gaunt's) worsening health may account for his fears for the safety of his heir (Henry of Derby), who had been on perilous expeditions in the past, some financed by his father; yet his anxiety did not apparently extend to his younger son, John Beaufort, who went crusading against Turks in Hungary and Bulgaria in 1396, and in September was present at the siege of Nicopolis, a campaign that ended in the mass capture and slaughter of the Christian army and left Bulgaria under Muslim domination for five centuries. John Beaufort, fortunately came home to tell the tale.

The fight for world domination with the Muslims under the leadership of such as those leading Iran today is not a sometime thing. It is believed that now is their time for world domination in the name of Allah. We must take them seriously because they are extremely serious. The question for them, within Islam it seems, is which branch of Islam will be world dominate.

That may be up to us in that we may get our senses about us, accept the rot that is "political correctness" acting like syphilis on the brain turning it to cottage cheese, and not allow our world to be overturned and our civilization to be destroyed mostly by our own weakness of will.

*As an aside, it is up to Muslims within Islam to fight for their rights to voice differences of opinion and I appreciate that many true scholars do but it is not for Islamic forces to impose their standards of intolerance upon us. It is our tolerance for their intolerance that is our Achilles heel.

But once upon a time, in a Europe far, far away, the Europeans knew who they were and they knew the culture they had spawned. Are those Europeans gone or they still willing to defend themselves for the current invasion from Islamists to overthrow and dominate and destroy their culture.

Are Europeans of today willing to see Notre Dame destroyed in flames or Westminster Abbey torn stone from stone? Is that the future that awaits or are Europeans of today willing to live in dhimmitude if only they will be allowed to keep their icons?

Europeans of today can keep their civilization simply by standing their ground and coming to their senses. They do not have to allow themselves to be pushed to violence. They can simply outlaw all manner and means of Sharia Law and be done with it. That means no man can have four wives all of whom collect welfare, among other things.

Let me mention that laws that protect the "protected ideology" today can quickly be turned upon it tomorrow.

Paris bombing - an Al Qaeda attack?

In today's paper, we learn of another bombing in Paris, the city that burned one summer: Paris bombing kills one, injures one. Can there be much doubt regarding the source of the bomb? I cannot attribute any and all such attacks to Al Qaeda but all such attacks have an Al Qaeda-esque signature. Recently in Pakistan, Bhutto was recently attacked and nearly assassinated by a bomb strapped to an infant. What sick mind takes an innocent infant and kills his own child in the name of Allah? What kind of god is "Allah" to supposedly honor such slaughter and aberration? It boggles the Western mind... Some simple truths seem to be emerging across Europe due to the population redistribution from the Middle East, Islamic nations, to European formerly democratic republics. Certainly helped along by our involvement in Serbia and Kosovo - a shameful involvement for us as we merrily bombed Christian Serbs who had been our allies during WWII and supported anti-democracy folks sworn to wipe Israel off of the face of the map and usher in Islamic dominance both in the United States and throughout the world - a pipeline/funnel has been opened through which Islamists happily access nations once difficult to enter. European nations through the EU will become a hodge-podge of Islamic "states". And arguably, the threat of world-wide Islamist domination threatens our very life and tenets of equality, our simple freedoms. And do not believe that Russia will be unscathed as it is projected to become an Islamic "state" by mid-century. Again, remember it is not through superiority of numbers but through the twisting of our laws against us that the Islamists seek to destroy our institutions and our freedoms. It is sickening to watch our "leaders" or Pied-pipers leading us to the slaughter kow tow to Islamist leaders in the United States and Europe. We are facing a devout enemy for whom life or time mean little. We will be forced to name this enemy and we will be forced to take action. I tend to believe that there are "peaceful" followers of Islam within the United States but their voices are as nothing in the face of the onslaunt by Islamists in many coverings from business suits to robes. And, sadly, these peaceful Muslims are apostates to Islam, and thereby enemies of the islamists. Their lives and livelihoods hang in the balance as well. America needs a moritorium to halt ALL immigration into the United States, a deportation of all illegals and their children born here or not, and the institution of English as the lawful language of the land. One of our strengths as a nation has been that we have had one language that we all speak, dialects not with standing. The one language - English - allows for mobility for all of us to move where we like and have the chance of attaining the "American Dream." That I as a credentialed teacher in California cannot teach in parts of Los Angeles speaks partially to the Balkinization that is occurring within our nation. This must stop. America must be open to all Americans to travel where we wish and to live where we wish. Balkinization - isolation within our own nation - is another attempt to destroy our cohesiveness as a national entity. The times are threatening and the hand of death is at the door. Do we consider our own personal safety or do we fight on for the safety of our children, grandchildren, and those Americans yet to be born? I say the latter. Islamists in any form and under any guise are the greatest threat to Western civilization that exists today. We know the forces that China and Russia align against us; although I had earlier hopes for Putin, I see that I was wrong; but these "enemies" are not new; what is new is the self-avowed enemy that establishes mosques, madrassas, training camps, and the like right here on our soil with the consent of our "leaders". And what is the most open avenue for establishing these "beach-heads"? Our universities... If Islam were, in fact, a religion such as Baptist, Methodist, and such that would be one thing but a reading of the Koran as well as readings of those who are islamists and those who study Islam point to much more; they point to an ideology that is political as well as military encompassing every action its followers take and the penalty for exercising "free choice" and leaving Islam - the penalty is death... Death seems to be the penalty for any number of infractions in Islam, including being the victim of rape... There is much for us to discuss and much for us to just face if we are to survive with our freedoms and our separation of church and state...much indeed. Maybe we don't deserve to survive but right now we have honorable men and women serving in our military and in our "alphabet" agencies who are willing to put their lives on the line for our survival. They deserve the same dedication from us.

That's 250,000 out of a population of rather well-subdued and "multiculturally" paralyzed 55,000,000 citizens. Have the British lost their way? Have they lost an understanding and appreciation of their greatness? Have the Brits somehow forgotten that all cultures are not morally equivalent? Have they forgotten Charlene Downes or is she just another casualty in the Islamists' march to overthrow English law and turn England into an Islamic Republic? It doesn't take numbers to overthrow a great nation; it just takes indifference and a lack of strong-willed leadership. To me, Britain's culture and system of laws is worth fighting for. Gordon Brown says he stands with us on the "war on terror." Let's see how he cleans out the Islamist radicals right there in England.

Musharraf tough on terrorists; Western nations open borders and wait!

I totally accept that the Islamic terrorists from al Qaeda to any other group want to attack all of us in the West. I'll admit that I am surprised to learn that England, Britain, is the hot-bed of international terrorist organizations waging jihad across the globe. I was surprised to read an analysis of the Murder Rates of Brit natives to non-Brits in Britain, here. Excellent analysis although all readers may not agree. My knowlegde of history in India and Pakistan is woefully inept. Searching over at the World Factbook, I find that in the partitioning frenzy that accompanied Britain's withdrawal from former British Colonies, what is Pakistan today was part of India until 1947, then Bangladesh was "born" in 1971. And in 2007, Pakistan had 1/2 the population of the United States. Following the Red Mosque incident, today, the jailed cleric bother of the dead used his time at the funeral to morph into a "denunciation of the government" and called for an "Islamic revolution." President Musharraf "went on national television to vow that his government will crush extremists across the country and move strongly against religious schools like those at the Red Mosque that breed them." Musharraf has a point - have your "religious" freedom but don't abuse that "freedom" to call for "revolution". Of course, perhaps Musharraf has a closer knowledge of the Islamist threat than our Western politicans do, having survived numerous assination attacks. In the West, the United States more specifically now that Chertoff has a "gut feeling" - Lord knows that just makes me tingly with warm fuzzies at the depth of knowledge of our Homeland Security gurus - we all know what Katherine Shrader reports, Al-Qaida works to plant U.S. operatives. Well, of course they are. We have no idea how many "terrorists" are among our 12 - 20,000,000 illegal aliens. For a perspective, England's population today is approximately 60,000,000. One of points in the draft National Intelligence Estimate states: "The U.S. will face 'a persistent and evolving terrorist threat' within its borders over the next three years. The main danger comes from Islamic terrorist groups, especially al-Qaida, and is 'driven by the undimished intent to attack the homeland and a continued effort by terrorist groups to adapt and improve their capabilities.'" Wouldn't it be nice if we started going after mosques and their affiliated "schools" or Islamic centers that are funded by Saudi money to spread Wahhabism? Political Islam is NOT a religion. "Moderate" Muslims in the United States must make their voices heard. My greatest fear is that nations such as Britain may find themselves in a civil war if native Brits feel dangerously threatened and many peaceful Muslims, Hindus, and others who do want to co-exist as Brits under the flag and the secular laws of Britain will be caught up and become the real tragedy of Islamic aggression against the West. As I mention at the head of my blog, our US Constitution is not a suicide pact. Somehow, we citizens together must end this "politically correct multiculturalism" madness. People of different ethnic groups can and do live peacefully together. But they forge a unique culture. To me, it is very sad to see the unique American culture caving in upon itself just as we were really seeming to get a handle on this "unique" culture we have based on individual rights and responsibilities, not group rights at the expense of the whole. We'll prevail. Just don't know what it will take for our leaders to get kicked in the bottom with good shoe leather to get their attention. Amnesty for 12 to 20,000,000 is insanity and it is a battle we must wage every year, that's right, every single year. We have the Patriot Act and RICO statutes that could close down Islamist terrorist training centers. We have the laws to stop the funding of insurrection on our soil by Middle Eastern nation(s). I can't get a "gas credit card" unless some lady in India can get info up to and including my bra size. Following a trip to Texas, I'm probably on a "watch list" because I got horse manure on my boots and that showed up as nitrogen or a friend who takes nitroglycerin for heart problems gave me a poster which probably had "transfer" from his hands. Who knows? I know I'm in some computer database for that. Just what will it take for us to stop letting the Islamists run circles around us and tie us up in our own laws?

England, where is your Queen in your hour of need? I have been reading Londonistan by Melanie Phillips. As an Islamist imam says, immigration makes jihad possible. I look at the "warrior" women Queens of old and I think of my favorite, Eleanor of Aquitaine and your Queen Elizabeth - your Good Queen Bess. A new movie will be showing here in USA soon about Queen Elizabeth and the impending invasion of the Spanish Armada with its dreaded Inquisition. England, Europe has faced the Islamist threat before - Ferdinand and Isabella come to mind. But England, Kate Blanchett as Queen Elizabeth says,

England shall not fall while I am Her Queen!

Where is your "warrior" Queen Elizabeth II? She has experienced Hitler's bombings of London. She has seen the flames! Where is your Queen and where is Her Majesty's Winston Churchill? The peril you face, that all of us in the West face, is as real as the threat of the Spanish Armada and the Spanish Inquisition, or Hitler's Third Reich. I heard today that MI5 knows of 4,000 Islamist Muslim terrorists running loose throughout England. To put that into perspective for the US reader, that would be 4,000 terrorists running loose in states the population-size of 1 California, with 3 Virginias tossed in. England, where is your Queen? We all need her!

Bush Administration bows to Muslim Brotherhood?

Today, many of our Senators heard us and know we want reform - not partisanship. We want reform not capitulation to racist groups such as La Raza and others. We want statesmen on the issue of illegal migration, not panderers! And we sure as hell don't want to be blamed for opposing a sorry, P.O.S. legislation. And while we focused on illegal aliens, the Bush Administration, albeit behind "tough" words, conferred "legitimacy" on the Muslim Brotherhood and its Islamist front groups by naming an envoy to the world's diplomatic body of Muslim States, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (a body of 57 member countries). Christine says it better and describes the capitulation to radical Islam in her post, Bush Administration & Muslim Brotherhood, Together At Last - Bush's True Legacy to the USA. Please read the linked news articles and a moderate Muslim's rebuttal: When will we learn? by M. Zuhdi Jasser. I thought we already had a special envoy to Muslim States through our Ambassador to the United Nations. Silly me! Di-Fi (Senator Diane Feinstein d-CA) and others yap about bringing the Fairness Doctrine back to life to "stick it to" talk radio even in the face of Reid's chicanery ending the freedom of speech of our Senators. Well, "Bring it on!" How about the Fairness Doctrine for moderate Muslims and others? The American people are gonna get our Senators to rise to statesmen to protect our borders, and to secure our freedom of speech in the face of any arrogant tyrants who what to shut us up! The administration tried to shut us up through strong-armed arrogance; the Senate Majority Leader Reid tried to shut up our Senators and did "kill" the paltry number of amendments he even allowed on the floor. The American people will not be silenced. Our Senators know we are patriots and want good legislation! Not legislation that is deemed even by its supports as "this is as good as you're gonna get." We've been living on sloppy seconds for a long time. We deserve better but it is up to us to elect "statesmen." And on the Fairness Doctrine - see it for what it really is: the denial of freedom of speech guaranteed under the US Constitution and anti-capitalism and free enterprise. Liberal talk radio just doesn't sell. Oh, by the way, didn't Hugo Chavez just implement his version of the "fairness doctrine" in Venezuela recently? The Fairness Doctrine is political tyranny; it erodes our freedoms and silences us. Don't let it happen! Our voices were heard on S.1639 but we must remain ever vigilant! The enemy of our democratic republic is, both within and without.
