Congressmen won't have to use Obama rationed care.  Too bad.  Maybe we could add a provision for "partial birth abortion" of "partial Representatives."  Oh, we have that - it's called "elections in 2010."

But on the Tundra post, how can we not take the threats and mindset of many Muslims seriously.  They know it is their obligation to kill infidels;  it is not a matter of "faith";  it is a matter of "knowing."

Americans must become aware that when we "bailout" or subsidize international financial institutions, we are supporting Sharia Finance/Sharia Banking.  Sharia Law is creeping into our society without us even knowing it.  Remember, like the Chinese, some of the Islamists are long-range planners and they are deadly serious.

Non-taxpaying voters need to pay their share

From Armstrong Williams we have commentary that was stated in a different way by Thomas Sowell about 16 years ago.  I was struck by Sowell's editorial because I had been thinking the same thing for some time.  From Armstrong Williams:  Make non-taxpaying voters pay for vote-buying programs.

In our Founders' day, one could vote, as the saying goes, if "he were free, white, and twenty-one."  Slaves or blacks who were not slaves - many of those by the way - and white women could not vote.  If you recall, black men were given the vote before women who did not receive the right to vote until 1920.  

Our Founders' precept if I understand it correctly was that if one supported the system, the government, through payment of taxes then that person had a right to decide how his money was spent, even if it were money gained through marriage or coming from the little woman.  As an aside, as late as twenty years ago, a married woman living in California could NOT have a safety deposit box in her name alone - her husband's name had to be on the box.  I know of this from personal experience.

But our Founders' point was good in that if it's your tax dollar that is to be spent, you should have a say in how and where it is spent.  As we have progressed down the road toward Socialism, elected folks learned quickly that they could pray on the "poor" by legalizing theft at the ballot box.

Votes are bought with taxpayer dollars through the votes of folks who do not pay into the system.

I could fix part of that by having a 10% or 5% income tax on everyone who works and no deductions, etc.  If you make $300.00 dollars, you pay an income tax of $30.00.  If you earn $30,000,000, you pay $3,000,000.  Everyone who earns anything would have a stake in how their money was spent and everyone would equally share in the expense of government.  I think that would go a long way to raising self-esteem and bringing integrity to the system. 

If you are a Senior and have paid into the system, you'd still pay 5% or 10% on your un-earned income.  As Thomas Sowell sort of implied, if you don't contribute financially to the tax system, you don't vote.  Certainly there are different ways to allow you to vote if for example you have been a stay-at-home mom but your family, through your husband's income, has paid taxes and so forth.

There is something inherently unAmerican to allow folks to vote or to have their votes BOUGHT the through legalized theft of other peoples hard-earned money.

So, you want abortion funded by the federal government, belly-up to the bar and put your money down but don't use tax dollars to do it.  

Americans are naturally generous people.  Churches have charitable programs supported by their congregations.  We are charitable people and we would take care of our own but let's do it through compassion, not legalized theft. 

I have not been able to re-locate Dr. Sowell's editorial but it is a grand piece.

Two friends of mine live in subsidized housing, well only one does now as the other lady is deceased - one lady is black; one lady, now deceased, was white.  Both were thrilled one day because their rent was going down by $10.00 a month.  I said, "Well, that does it.  My taxes will be going up."  They both said, "No, the decrease is coming from the government..."

Now, I don't have a problem with either of these ladies voting and getting support.  One's husband worked in the Merchant Marines and paid taxes for years.  The other lady's husband spent a career at the shipyard.

But in fairness, is it fair for some Americans to vote money that they don't earn out of taxpayer pockets to support the non-earners or can taxpayers make the call on how their money will be spent?  For one, I'd vote for housing for the homeless, many of whom seem to have mental illness.  It is not fair to toss them to the elements.  I'd vote for their care in safe, clean, well-landscaped facilities so that they could be well-fed, clothed, and cared for.  It is a disgrace that some of them are forced to live as they do.  I'm not positive but I think that was done under Reagan with a Democrat Congress.

Politicians should not be able to "buy" votes, period.

Maybe it's the Obama Draft Bill and maybe it's the bill upon which he'll build his National Civilian Security Force or whatever he's calling it. Short name: Mullahs' Religious Police who will be intruding on your every move. We're so much into "when life begins" at conception or when the baby is allowed to be born that I wondered when a bill is born: in committee or when it is signed. In committee of course. Let's start "aborting" some of these bills while they are in the "couple of messy cells" stage until having to wait until we have to resort to "partial bill abortion." See www.opencongress.org. Sanctuary States - Yeehaw for the mighty Texas

Sanctuary Cities defy federal laws regarding the enforcement of laws pertaining to illegal aliens. It is my understanding that Texas may not enforce the hideous Obama Rationed Racist Health Care/Ethnic Cleansing Act if it gets signed into law. If arrogant San Francisco can defy federal immigration laws, certainly a State, exercising its State's Rights can refuse to enforce heinous federal laws that ultimately, among other things, result in financial burdens upon the States. I am a "right-wing extremist" as designated by Janet "man-made events" Napolitano and I'm proud of that because I am an adherent of the U.S. Constitution and I believe that the Founders clearly stated the responsibilities of the federal government. That government has consistently and tirelessly expanded federal power over every aspect of our lives. That theft of power is in violation of the U.S. Constitution and of their oath of office. So, more power to Texas, the Republic of Texas, which many may not know but upon becoming a state of the Union in 1845 (?), Texas' Constitution includes a right to leave the Union. State Legislatures are a thing of the past and the legislators need to decide whether they represent us or whether the States are simply chattel under the heavy arm of the Federal Executive. The Congress - House and Senate - of the federal government is fast becoming a place for many folks who are simply GS employees under the control of the Executive. We the people have gone long enough without representation...over the previous 16+ years.

I specifically recommend that you read the comments except perhaps for mine.  Heavy-hitters comment at The Gates and I am not one of those.  Those folks know their stuff when it comes to discussing all things Islam...

Many people confuse the burqa as a part of Islam.  It is not and a commenter at The Gates, Solkhar, has stated the evolution of the burqa in clear terms.  For your edification and mine: 

"It is a cultral-tribal Arab thing, nothing Islamic about it and is an icon of tribal-sexism in the Arab world. Of course the Arab radical extremists will insist because it was in their culture that it is Islamic and simply it is not in a verse of the Qur'an and it comes out only in the third-generation books. In fact Mohammed insisted in trying to take way sexism and oppression out of the Muslim community and it failed after the first generation of his followers died after him. Obama, Bush, Clinton: Agent Rosas' blood on your hands

The following article relates to the killing/murder of Border Patrol Agent Robert Rosas' murder last Thrusday in southeastern San Diego County: Suspect in Border Agent killing.

Our Border Patrol Agents are out-manned and out-gunned by Mexican drug cartels.  Our borders are still being overrun by illegal aliens and yet our government REFUSES to give the Border Patrol Agents to equipment necessary to protect our nation which is under attack and the necessary equipment to give our Border Patrol Agents a fighting chance to protect themselves.

The highest leaders in our government on the Hill and in the White House put our Border Patrol Agents in jeopardy just as they have failed upon occasion to provide our troops in Afghanistan with the equipment they need.  This from a man who served in Afghanistan.

The blood of Agent Robert Rosas is on their hands.  God help them...but above that God protect our Border Agents.

Our leaders are not serious about closing our borders because of buying votes or because keeping the borders open is big business.  Shame on them.

Obama Racist Rationed Care: Legalized Ethnic or Age-related Cleansing?

Is Obama Racist "Health" Care legalized ethnic cleansing or age-related cleansing? Does Obama want to legally kill-off the baby boomers and the "greatest generation" through the denial of benefits? Who are the people who live the longest in America today generally speaking? Non-Hispanic white women... Well, let's just kill'em off by denying them care. Certainly a President of the United States would not want to do that...

Of course such speculation is absurd.  But based upon the quotations left for us by Urbanadder22, one could wonder if a time will come in our nation that we no longer allow the federal government to stigmatize 75% of us as second-class citizens who can't "make it on our own" and need preferential treatment through set-asides for women of any skin color and for men who are not non-Hispanic white males because, well, you know, we just aren't as capable at those other folks.  Well, not in my America.  We are all capable of many things with hard work.

As long as we tolerate being "given" privilege based upon gender and/or skin color and not merit, we will by default be second-class citizens that no one acknowledges as inferior but the message is clear that the government considers us so.  That is insulting, disgusting, and humiliating in the year of 2009.  We are told by the Attorney General that we are a racist society.  Well, we are not in total a racist society.  Perhaps, by saying it enough the president and others will hope to make it so by affirming it repeatedly and now carrying it over into health care...  Or are the programs for the "disadvantaged" just "pay back."  Below is a comment from Urbanadder22.  I thought it would be helpful for everyone.  Someone is reading the legislation.  Not Congress... Obama Care: H.R. 3200, America's Affordable Health Care Act of 2009

A suggestion, print out the table of contents and then check off sections as you read them.  If you go to your Representative's town hall meetings during the August break, print out the section pages that concern you and take them to the town hall meetings so that you can ask questions as informed citizenry.

In their most nightmarish dreams, some could see this legislation as leading to acts of genocide or racial, ethnic cleansing.  If not that, legislation designed to put every American in the nation under the thumb of the federal government's Executive Branch in far more draconian ways than any other database we have.

Thanks to the Blue Dog Democrats for giving us, 'we the people', a chance to read this "Duty to die" legislation for ourselves.

This legislation is the last straw for our Dear Leader Obama.  As you read sections of the legislation take a hard look at how the bill's rules once implemented will intrude into your own life.  This legislation should be 'dead on arrival.'  

This is personal, ladies and gentlemen.  Personal and it should arrive or stay in committee in both the House and the Senate with the letters - DNR, Do NOT Resuscitate,  stamped in red across the front.  Another option we have personally is to be clear with our loved ones about the care we want to receive at our natural 'end of life' stage and one choice should be AND, Allow a natural death, that we choose not that a D.C. bureaucrat or a committee decides.

Planned Parenthood, in its days of conception, was purportedly designed to reduce the children of African descent.  Is Obama care designed to rid the nation of another ethnic group or groups?  I don't know but anything that separates you from your personal doctor and/or forces you into government run - now that's an oxymoron - is not good for you.  Think AMTRAK.

You think you're just a number under your Social Security Number - stand back - 'you ain't seen nothing yet,' as Mr. Obama said about "Chains" - I mean CHANGE and the fundamental CHANGE he wanted to bring to America.

Is this the CHANGE you voted for?  Mr. Obama fooled us with the Stimulus Bill and pushing it through with no review.  Is that transparency in government?  Don't let him do it again.

Obama Medical Care and your 'duty to die'

Tonight I heard Mr. Dick Morris use a phrase when talking about Obama's reform of our Health Care system.  Morris said underlying the fundamental change will be our 'duty to die.'  That got me to thinking about Denmark which has socialized everything as well as euthanasia. 

There is so much fundamentally anti-American within NATIONALIZED rationed medical care, the big HMO from Big Brother in D.C.  I have spoken to several of these issues such as the denial of care and the nationalized database that is being put into place and has been being put into place for nearly a decade by now but then the notion of our 'duty to die' was interesting because arguably that is assisted suicide and suicide is a mortal sin.

Cost is not an issue if people are denied care and then brainwashed that it is their 'duty to die' to save their children from such crushing debt.

Mr. Obama promised during his bid for the presidency that he would fundamentally 'change' America.  He has since said we are no longer a Christian nation.  I totally believe that he may not be a Christian.

One of the tenets of Christianity and of America is our general belief in the Sanctity of Life.  Setting aside the abortion debate and the 53,000,000 pre-borns we have 'aborted' one could look at us and consider that we no longer believed in the Sanctity of Life.

Then Mr. Morris' phrase, 'duty to die' came back to mind.  In a socialist nation where all "medical care" is provided by the national government, it becomes much more cost-effective to "guilt" seniors or those with serious health issues into believing that THEY have a 'duty to die', take a heavy morphine shot for the Gipper, save their children and grandchildren from the burden of the cost of their medical care.

We, the people, have to slow this march down and call our representatives (collectively House and Senate) and we have to read the bill - I think it is HR3200.  I'll check tomorrow.

I know families make decisions everyday in America to "pull the plug" on loved ones who are suffering and nearing death.  I don't make light of those decisions because I have had to make them myself.

But will you stop and consider for just a moment how heinous it is for our federal government, under Mr. Obama's Administration, to be pushing for NATIONALIZED medical care that will have as a component, unwritten and certainly unspoken, of our 'duty to die?'  And worse, the decisions will not be made by our doctors and our family loved ones but by a bureaucrat in Washington, D.C. following a checklist?

Think about the ramifications of Mr. Morris' phrase, 'a duty to die.'  Is that what we have come to or is that the path down which we are being forced by our Dear Leader, our own Pied Piper of "Change?"

To me that appears to be the systematic, legalized killing of American citizens by denying them health care that would cure them or extend their quality of life.

Private health care has a vested interest to keep us alive; Obama Care, which is Hillary Care on PCP and cocaine, would have a fundamental interest in denying us care depending on a government check list and that would be the same as the bureaucrat saying, "Times up;  time to punch that one out."

Is that what you want in America for yourself, for an invalid child, for a grandparent who is ill?

I think the concept is psychopathic.  Maybe we should just drink the Kool-aid.

On a much lighter note, Mr. Obama may have stumbled on a means for ending illegal aliens from rushing to get here for all of the free benefits they get because they'd go into the national medical care delivery system database too and then they may have the "plug pulled" on their extended family members or upon themselves;  no more surgery from Duke like the care given to the young girl here illegally a few years ago.  That may be one way to end the influx of illegal aliens once they figure out that the 'free health care' only lasts so long.

And we wouldn't have to build that fence...

Maybe "skull and cross-bones" posts every so many yards with the words "Danger, Enter at your own Risk" in about 5 languages would serve to slow the tide.  :)

Just being silly now...but guess who may be first on Mr. Obama's list of folks to be denied care:  that's right - Baby Boomers and the folks of the Greatest Generation.  The Greatest Generation saved the world from fascism and the Baby Boombers put men on the moon...

Yep, Obama Care, now that's an incentive to work hard and succeed.

Obama: USA the new USSR; Congress no longer a check on the Executive

Under our Dear Leader, Mr. Obama, the USA is on a fast track to become the old USSR without the extended territories of all of those "stans" bordering Russia.  Their population was cut to around 143 million and capitalism of a form moved in.  Members of the Russian mob who haven't migrated to New York or Miami are doing well in the new Russia but on to...

Jeb Hensarling has an article in the Washington Post, Hensarling:  Punishing Consumers to 'protect' them that is a must read because it just goes to show the intrusion into our lives and into our individual freedom for decision making.  

We won't even get into the overt and stealth attacks against small businesses and the private sector where jobs are being lost.  See some of what Harry Alfords, president of the National Black Chamber of Commerce has to say.

Can you find a thermometer today with mercury in it?  Nope.  

But our 'ever so conscious of your safety' Dear Leader's Administration is now demanding that we all will soon no longer have the choice to purchase SAFE light bulbs.  That's right.  In no time at all, we will be FORCED through government fiat to use mercury-filled light bulbs that practically require a HAZMAT team to come to your home if you break one of these bulbs.

How can that happen?  Simple; the safe light bulbs will be removed from our shelves.

Follow the money and I'll bet Algore has financial holdings in companies that make the "new" REQUIRED light bulbs.

That is what the takeover of the automobile industry is all about.  Eventually telling us what cars to buy by removing our choice of automobiles and eventually limiting what cars we can buy.  Wanna go to Cuba - they have plenty of good 56 Chevys...

And medical care.  Don't be fooled by the smooth words of our Dear Leader helpless without His teleprompter, Mr. Obama.  There will be no choice and limited or restricted coverage based on government edicts.  You will be denied coverage at some point or stage in your life AND every thing you now buy will soon be out of your price-range when hyper-inflation kicks in in 2010.

Time is short.  In the 2010 Election, we must elect Representatives and Senators who will protect us and who will fight for maintaining their role in the Checks and Balances.  And all the while, as Jeb Hensarling points out, the Obama Administration is making Congress, under the leadership (?) of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, irrelevant as He moves to have His administration destroy the "balance of powers" our Founding Fathers established.

In the 2010 Election, I'm supporting Representatives and Senators who are conservatives be they conservative Republicans or Blue Dog Democrats.  Without violence and through our election process, our Dear Leader Tzar in the White House must be stopped or have his wings clipped.

Blue Dog Democrats: Stop Obama, the Grim Reaper

I am calling upon all Blue Dog Democrats and conservative Republicans in the House of Representatives and in the Senate to STOP Obama in his Marxist tracks as he marches the greatest nation on earth and her people into the death camps of "managed/rationed = limited" medical care.  More on the Blue Dog Democrats here.

Contact your Representative and Senators to save yourselves and perhaps other loved ones.  There is "no FREE" lunch.  This lurch into Socialism and the loss of individual freedoms has been going on throughout the 1900s.  Only you can help by calling your representatives.

Just a few minutes ago, at around 5:30PM, Rep. Broun from Georgia, a medical doctor, declared that Mr. Obama's rationing medical plan will "kill people" by denying them care or by extending the time they have to wait for care until it is too late for care.  Further, that the relationship between you and your doctor will no longer have the integrity it has today because a Washington bureaucrat will make medical decisions effecting you and your life and medical care. 

In six months, He has nationalized our auto industry, capped executive salaries, snookered the banks into TARP loan money to nationalize the banks, and demonized the financial segments of private industry that fuel capitalism.

The only jobs being created today are under government programs such as ACORN - now that is one to be afraid of but Glenn Beck is handling that one for us.

For the love of God and for the love of our nation's people, STOP the man who wants the government to determine whether you live or die by denying you and any designated other Americans the medical care we have paid for all of our working lives and are still paying for.

And SHAME on the hospitals that charges $15.00 for one aspirin.  People, take your own aspirin, Kleenex, and body lotion to the hospital.  That's what a friend of mine does.

I ask you, our elected representatives to STOP Mr. Obama, the Grim Reaper with his blazing red sickle and hammer, who is working as hard as he can to destroy this nation and killing jobs.  Remember, high inflation is supposed to be right around the corner, so all the poor folks who voted for Mr. Obama, know that the cost of every product you will be buying will be priced at or above your ability to buy it.

Picture Mr. Obama as one of Harry Potter's Dementors and you'll get an idea of what Mr. Obama is working hard to do to this nation - suck the life-blood out of it through NATIONALIZED programs everywhere you look.

At the very least, we MUST slow down the wheels of government under this administration so that we can have time to read the legislation and to comment on it and so that we will know how passage will cost us all our chance at the American Dream and end our individual freedoms once and for all.  It will be hard to "unring" the death knell of the medical rationing legislation.

I feel like we are marching backwards into a Russia at the time when the only cars available were pathetic government-made putt-putts, where food was in short supply, and all the rest.  Read the new book, Stalin.

If we want to spend money on something, then let's spend it on NASA and a Journey to Mars.  Why?  Our next generation will be educated with scientists, mathematicians, and filled with the creative soul of ingenuity that is AMERICA.  Right now, we are 19th among industrialized nations.  No wonder our Grim Reaper is having so much rapid success.  19th - our children score 19th among other nations' children.  How embarrassing is that, NEA?

Let's do that for our children...  Let's give them pride, an honorable goal, and self-esteem.  A reason to keep America and her people as premier in the world of math and science.  

 *Just a note on medical care for illegals.  I watched a TV show not too long ago about a huge clinic in LA - as I recall - that serviced Hispanic illegals with certain conditions.   The lady doctor who is world-renowned in her field, had to have an interpreter when working with her patients.  Only in America.

Obama Care: license to kill legalized by legislation

Please call your Congressman and your Senators and ask them to vote NO or AGAINST the Obama Health Care plan.

There are two things going on here and they are not pretty.  This is how I see it and I could be all wrong but I don't think so.  The current administration is moving to fast and our representatives aren't even reading the bills they are voting on.

1)  Nationalized Database.  Not everyone in America pays taxes and therefore does not file a 1040.  Admittedly, many of us are on any number of databases but one thing the Obama Death Plan will do is put ALL of us into one national database from birth to death.  

All of our medical prescriptions that we have filled now are compiled in a national database in Missouri.  Under a NATIONALIZED health care program, we will ALL be entered into the national database; and once "rationed" health care is put into law, how fast do you think your company will shutdown their health care benefits?

2)  Denial of Health Care will cut costs.  Starting with seniors (baby boomers and older), they will be denied health care according to federal guidelines.  Make no mistake, if you are elderly and on medicare, I'll place my money on the bet that at some point your care will be denied or prescribed minimally.  Having paid into the system all of your working life, you will probably be denied care when you reach a given age or when you contract a given condition.  The only way the government can cut medical costs is to have fewer people getting or receiving health care.  

The handicapped and disabled who watched Terri Shiavo being killed due to inaction by the highest officials in the State of Florida through starvation and dehydration expressed fear that their lives would not be valued and they could suffer the same fate.  

One person's opinion:  Obama and the House and Senate Democrats and Republicans who vote for his "rationing of health care" will vote into law legislation that will put your fate in the hands of a GS-4 Admin person just following a checklist.

There is no free lunch and if you are young and reading this;  you may say, "Well, I don't want to pay to keep all those older folks alive...."  Maybe not but first those older folks gave birth to you and second you may one day become one of those "older folks."

The Obama Rationing Care program will be the final nail that drives "freedom" from the United States of America.  We will become a fully Socialist nation.

When you are pleading for a doctor to give care to your aging parent or grandparent, save your tears and your pleas.  Like the NAZI war criminals said at their trials, "They were just following orders..."  Watch your loved one die through care denied and remember that the little GS-4 following the checklist is only following orders...

We are Americans.  We can solve problems.  No one who goes to an emergency room is denied care - except for myself upon one occasion while having plenty of insurance.

Don't give up your freedom for false promises.  Call your Congressman and Senators and beg them to vote NO on legislation that would effectively legalize the killing of Americans through the denial of health care.

And who said in America that a 20 year old couldn't make his own decision whether to have health care or not?

Very quickly now it seems that our freedom to make choices about many things in our lives is coming to an end.

We will have the trappings of "freedom" but once that NATIONALIZED health care goes into effect, our freedoms are gone;  our freedoms to make choices over our own health... 

It would be interesting to know if gender, ethnicity, or other factors would come into play regarding who receives health care and who doesn't...but that we will never know.

I have called my Representative and my Senators.  How about you?  

Sotomayor: Hispanics should question her racism!

The cartoons are funny but here's the thing.  With a justice nominee who is so avowed as a racist who in one case discriminated against non-Hispanic white and Hispanic white firefighters, one cannot tell upon whom she'll lay her discriminating racist finger next time.  Will it be Hispanic white men in favor of Hispanic white women?  

The Hispanic white folks and the non-Hispanic white folks are clearly the majority in the nation.  Formerly known as "white" folks are now known as "non-Hispanic white" so that they will NEVER be considered a minority even if there are only two of them left.

With a woman who clearly says she is a racist through her rulings, Hispanic white folks cannot be certain that she will favor them.  In the firefighter case, she did not;  she ruled against the ones who passed the test with their non-Hispanic white fellow firefighters because she had to do that to punish the non-Hispanic white firefighters.

Be very careful, my Hispanic brothers and sisters.  Sotomayor is not qualified and she is not a friend of "equal justice for all."  Be careful.

The best thing we could do for our unity is to rid the census of any ethnic identification - strip it from our federal and state forms.  If the government won't do that, maybe we'll have to do that by declaring ourselves as "Americans".  Isn't that what we are?  We were on 9/11.

Radical Islam working to silence criticism

At the International Civil Liberties Alliance, you will find a video - playing time, about 45 minutes - which all of us interested in freedom of speech must/should listen to:  Libel Lawfare:  Silencing Criticism of Radical Islam.  This is when the radical Muslims use our laws against us and they use dupes such as Rep. John Conyers to sponsor an initial non-binding resolution - H.Res. 288 - the plan is one incremental step at a time.  Conyers' resolution was about freedom of religion in which Islam was the "religion of choice" mentioned often in terms of not criticizing its teachings.  This example is only the tip of the planned LEGAL WARFARE against America.

Just one man's comments, edited for highlights - Douglas Murray, one of the speakers on the panel, mentioned that "The EU is a monstrosity...  So many layers of government that no one knows who is governing...  The EU should be wrecked...  and the tall buildings torn down never to be raised again..."

At least one cool head in Europe.  Sounds sort of like Obama Rationed Health Care where there will be so many levels of decision making, no one will get care and if they do, it will not be enough.  And whatever care you do get will be the "decision of somebody else."  I can see a "whole lot of finger pointing going on."

Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to vote for racist Sotomayor

In this past election, I begged you folks in South Carolina NOT to re-elect Senator Graham because he really goes where the wind blows.

Just heard him say that he was voting for the affirmative action, racist Sotomayor to be confirmed to the Supreme Court.  Good grief!

Any Republican who votes for her is affirming "institutionalized discrimination."  I thought Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. died to end that.

Any Republican who votes for Sotomayor needs to be removed from the Senate.  You can't count Snow and Collins - they are not Republicans;  their Maine voters just think they are.  At least we got rid of Arlen "magic bullet" Specter.

According to Sotomayor, she is an "affirmative action" college entrant and all up the line she admits to not being qualified.  Her skin color and gender got her admitted into college.  What a badge of honor, knowing that you are second rate and that you "took" the college spot of a more qualified American citizen.

Do we want "affirmative action" folks in office?  Obviously.  According to the last election, we want ill-qualified folks in the highest offices in the land.  We're beginning to see how that's working for us.  And the poor folks who voted for Obama solely based on his 1/2 black skin color are soon going to pay for their folly because like any potentate/dictator, he'll raise not their taxes, they don't pay any.  He'll raise the prices for everything else they use from water to food to heating fuel.

But on Sotomayor:

Soon affirmative action will be in full view once again with Ms. Sotomayor, the Associate Supreme Court Justice nominee, who demonstrated full-frontal racism against American firefighters who actually passed a test.

For me, that one decision of Sotomayor's disqualifies her from a seat on the Supreme Court.

I wonder if it is possible that the folks who did not pass the test didn't study for it?  Nah, that could never happen but the non-Hispanic white and the Hispanic firefighters as well as a few non-white as well as non-Hispanic firefighters did pass the test and they were all rewarded with punishment - no promotions.  Thank God the existing Supreme Court overturned Sotomayor's ruling.

Sotomayor has admitted that she received her education due to 'affirmative action' because her test scores were not as high as those of other college applicants;  she is proud to have taken the place in college over another American who was more qualified.  Shame on her.  That woman does not belong on the Supreme Court.  At least she admits she's racist and unqualified.

And soon she will be on the Supreme Court - an unqualified, racist female.  And Lindsey Graham is going to assure that that happens.  How many more Republican Senators will vote for "institutionalized discrimination?"  

Note to Democrat and Republican Senators who vote for "institutionalized racism and discrimination":  your vote will be in violation of your oath of office to uphold the Constitution.  But how can you uphold an oath to a document that you have shredded, especially under Mr. Obama?

Plus, Sotomayor's been overturned 66%, H/T Blue Collar Republican (you'll like the pictures in this link) and Gateway Pundit's Seek and Destroy Firefighters.

Remember we Conservatives came out against President George W. Bush's nominee, Harriet "I need a few weeks to study up on Constitution law" Miers.  We did that because she was unqualified.  We didn't believe in "affirmative action" nominees regardless of party backing.

Are you brave enough to stand up against Obama and against a justice nominee who acts to create law and to uphold "institutionalized racism?"  Is that what America has come to?  That in America today, not everyone can achieve their dreams through hard work and integrity.  Only avowed racist "minority" women of certain ideological leanings have a chance at the "American Dream."

And don't talk to me about Hispanics on the court.  Whatever happened to Miguel Estrada, a Bush appointee to a Circuit Court?  The Democrats didn't even give him a chance.

No, we're in the time-warp of Animal Farm with some two-legs more equal than other two-legs.

Neda Soltani, a Christian fighting for a modern Iran

From Tundra Tabloid, Martyred symbol of Iranian protests was a Christian.

Neda lost her life for standing on a sidewalk in Tehran fighting for a modern Iran.  It was my natural assumption that Neda was a follower of Islam.  She was not; she was a Christian.  She was in the streets with her brothers and sisters as citizens of Iran protesting for freedom.

CIA and briefings to Congress - Don't do it!

And so it goes on - the Dems bashing the CIA once again.  To save Nancy Pelosi's face by saying that the CIA misled Congress...good grief.

Before the CIA should brief ANYONE in Congress - House or Senate - background checks should be done on the "elected" folks before our CIA trusts many of those folks with our national secrets.  I can name at least 10 Representatives I wouldn't tell anything.

Be real!  Who could trust a Speaker or others in either side of the Congress?  

I look to the CIA to work to keep us safe.  I may be naive but I'll trust my CIA before I'd trust many of the jelly-brained, loud mouth talkers in the House or the Senate.  Remember, the folks learning about CIA operations are the same folks who did not oversee Freddie and Fanny.

How much have you lost in your IRA or 401K due to the negligence or perhaps even - oh my goodness - criminal behavior by omission of oversight of some in the House or Senate?  The Community Reinvestment Act is criminal in and of itself and how about that ACORN group and all the money they get from our tax dollars. 

My money is on our CIA.  So for goodness sake, I would beg CIA to brief very carefully, but not fully, only the people who pass the background checks - for the safety of all of us.

Just one woman's opinion.  I don't trust many of the representatives or senators.  I see no reason why CIA should trust them.

But the fracas does give President Obama one more thing to apologize to the world for.  Most recently he has said we have not met our responsibilities.  Exactly what responsibilities of the United States have we not met?  Saving Europe TWICE perhaps.  No, he's talking about the hoax of "global warming."  I wonder how much money Big Algore is making on that train of propaganda?

I ask the CIA to do your job.  You work for us and so do the Congressmen and Senators.  I trust you far more.  Thank you for all you do for us and thank you for doing your work knowing you can never receive the thanks of an appreciative citizenry.
