Iraq MUST NOT be lost; America under attack by more subtle means

Iraq MUST NOT be lost and America is fully under attack by more subtle means right here at home where our laws and our idiotic suicidal mantra of "diversity" are killing us by letting the camel's nose under the tent, as it were. The war in Iraq and must not be lost regardless of who is in the White House. Too much is at stake. I am researching right now to determine if the UN is under the control of the Islamists and dictator nations. My guess is yes with 57 Islamic nations in the UN and with other dictatorships or totalitarian nations there as well. This "take over" does not bode well for Iraq, for Israel, or for the United States and every other "freedom" oriented nation. The situation in Iraq is no longer "child's play" for politicians. We need statesmen. We need them right now. In Iraqis pull out over Bush meeting, we learn of the pull-out by al-Sadr of his people from the Iraqi government. We are dealing with petulent children demonstrating pre-adolescent behavior - "I'm takin' my marbles and not gonna play wid you any more...." The war in Iraq is coalescing into a definitive war for control of the Middle East and by extension control of Europe and ultimately democratic republics through extortion and the treat of nuclear attacks. Iraq is not for political banter any longer. It is serious business and it is a battle to stop the march of Islamic Imperialism that is attacking the entire globe as I write. We, the American people, must "gird our loins", make the sacrifices, and fight as though our lives and culture depend upon the outcome in Iraq because they do. As a nation, we in the United States MUST set aside all of the pros and cons of why we should or should not be in Iraq; who did what to whom and who made this or that mistake. We must engage collectively in this war. As Iraq goes, so goes Europe and perhaps the West - some wounds of course self-inflicted. But, make no mistake, Islamic Imperialism is on the march; the ayatollah and the mullahs, not to mention Mad Jad see the West as weak, more enarmoured with material possessions than with spine and principle; for them, their time is now. The time for the re-emergence of Islamic domination world-wide is now. Our President Bush - whom I support on this issue - was right to "take" the war to them; however, they - Iran, Syria - have turned the war in Iraq into their war against the West. If a true civil war breaks out in the Iraq, one that I say our mainstream media is "praying" for - to increase their ratings no doubt, all hell will break loose in the Middle East and the foes of democracy and freedom will have won. I have to wonder if Mad Jad and our Dems are working on their combined "talking points". Looks like it... I tell you now, leaving Iraq before that government is stable will ensure a blood-bath in Iraq and will leave the nation open for Iran to emerge as the clear winner, controlling the Middle East as well as Europe/Eurabia. It is already on its way in Indonesia and now Thailand is the most recent conquest. (See my recent posts on the topic) Further, we must be absolutely awake to the subtle tactics of the Islamification of the United States that are occurring within our nation. The Somalia taxi drivers are one example. The imams, Planely Provocative and Marshals decry imams' charges, clearly provoked an incident for the purpose of turning the incident around and making the security-conscious crew, marshals, and flying public the perpetrators of "crimes" against Islam. The tactics of the imams and the taxi drivers are designed to push the envelope; they are skirmishes in the war, in the defense of our nation against the goals of Islamic Imperialism. You must be warned and you must take it seriously. For the first time in our nation's history, a congressman-elect will take his oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States with the Koran in his hand. In the Koran, one is allowed and encouraged to lie to deceive the infidel if done to advance Islam; Islam is a political ideology that does not support the separation of church and state. Based on these teachings, the role of any practicing Muslim seems to this "infidel" to be directly in opposition to our freedoms of speech, the press, et al, and certainly in opposition to our separation of church and state. In Islam, the "religion" is the STATE. Tread with opened eyes and stay safe...

Coalition to Preserve Civilization

A new post has been entered at the Gates of Vienna, Coalition to Preserve Civilization. Much is happening in this area and I recommend that you take a look at this post by the Baron. The effort crosses religious boundaries of Christian denominations and Judaic sects. Many actions are being taken by "radical" so-called imams within the United States as elsewhere to push the envelope and see how far they can go in screaming "victim" by setting the stage for their cries of "victim". All efforts, such as the taxi drivers, etc. are geared to have Islam treated differently, with submission and using the technique of dhimmitude, it is working. I will post more on this and provide you with links. Remember, no special "status" or treatment for any religion in the United States. If Christian children can't have Bible study in public schools, then Muslim children should not be allowed to disrupt classes with their prayers. Jewish children never asked for special status in public schools. Think about this and be on the watch. The cause is just; the time is now; you can make a difference - in the survival of our Western Civilization and the freedoms that have made the United States so strong in the past - even beyond the valuable work you are doing now. Remember, the goal of the Islamists is not to push their "religion" right now so much as it is to force us to change our way of life. Then pushing their superiority and the "superiority" of their "religion" will be next. I use quotation marks around "religion" in this case because the ideology with its political arm (CAIR and others), its military arm (jihadists, Hamas, Hezbollah, and others), and robed "religious" arm(the imams and mullahs) are all parts of the same goal - Islamic world-domination. You absolutely must be aware and active in your local school system to keep these "seemingly" innocuous changes and bowing of school board officials to the false god of "multiculturalism" from taking place. There is a difference between respecting each other's religion and the imposition of Sharia Law, de facto through subtle means, upon us. My concern is not with one being a Buddhist, a Hindu, a Baptist, a Catholic, a Druid, or a Mormon. My concern is with the impostion of Sharia Law upon our culture and the incursion of Islamists pleading "victimhood" as a means to "special treatment" under the law for Islam, and the hood-winking of us into the trap under the guise of "religious freedom" and "diversity". In the case of Sharia Law, the Islamists and the imams in the airplane incident designed to provoke and create the incident are putting the tools to good use. Don't let them get away with provoking incidents and then screaming foul... Haven't we, as a nation, really had enough of that for the last 40 years or so from the 'race-baiters' unjustly pitting one ethnic group of Americans against another, so that we no longer, as a nation, have to take the bait? Have we learned nothing over the years from these extortionist techniques? It is time to call their bluff and say, "It ain't workin' no more. Period!" It's really simple. You want to have a nice little, peaceful religion, go to your services and such, that's one thing. But to provoke incidents and to want to "over-throw" our history, our heritage, our way of life - no, non, neyet, nada. By the way, how many churches have been built in Saudi Arabia lately? In Egypt? Anywhere in the Middle East? Oh, I forgot, the ones that do exist there from by-gone days are being burned... Stay safe... You really don't want to turn our culture over to the Secularists do you? It's just one step from there to....

Request to visitors - I need your help

Would you please help me here? I want to respond to your comments - Renn your's just today as well as others. I read the comments before I post them - for obvious reasons - one some are "interesting" and in other cases on my blog, I don't want to give PR to some of the shall we say - anti-American, etc. comments I receive. I can and have responded to the person individually when I can find them. Now to your help: please give me a hint of the post the response corresponds to. Jus a brief word or two - (Western Men Rise up?) or the first few words of the post title. I have not learned how to identify where the post comments are going to show up. Thank you for your help. Your help will allow me to become more responsive and also to refer other visitors to your comments. In some caes, I have actually posted responses or responses have inspired new posts for every one to see. Thanks again. Stay safe... Renn - Right now, though, Renn, allow me to suggest that you take a look at the 910 Group. We work globally as well as locally on the issues you mention. We are working the kinks out but we've been working from the ground-up only with an idea for just two months. Within this group, you can alert the rest of us and we have members from CA who could engage your issue at different levels. Awareness across the board and across the nation goes a long way - not necessarily all at once but it helps us document individual cases of dhimmitude and indoctrination that are occurring throughout the nation. It helps us "warn" our international members and sometimes they can tell us what they have encountered. All of this helps when writing elected officials. Not naive here...

Nativity Scene at a Christmas Festival - Horrors! Hide the children!

Does a nativity scene at a Christmas Festival in Chicago mean that the state is sanctioning Christianity? Horrors! Run for the hills! No, wait, run for the ACLU or some other anti-Christian group! Christianity in the United States is embodied through the Catholic Church and a myriad of Protestant denominations. It would be impossible to have a "state" sanctioned Christian religion, yet Christians of any denomination are now being treated as a collective in the minds of the secularists. All Christian denominations are lumped together and any mention is considered the 'state" sanctioning a "state" religion. All of the breast-beating over the display of a nativity scene at a Christmas - so much so that the display is banned - Just about forces me to ask myself exactly how threatening Christianity and its symbols must be to the citizens of the United States. How they must be protected from the frightening scenes of love and unity among people. But then I am reminded: "O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends." [al-Ma'idah 5:51.11] That's rather clear, eh? Even more poignant in view of the above quotation is the iteration by Islamic leaders going as far back as Mohammed that Christians and Jews are "people of the book" and as such are brothers. So then, if Jesus is seen as a prophet by two of the three, how can the scene of His birth be offensive? The idea of "freedom of religion" and the "separation of church and state" have come to the point in our society now so that the only religion that is not allowed in the public square is Christianity. In the spirit of tolerance and freedom of religion, why can't the local fire department display the nativity scene during the Christmas season? Have we forgotten that Jesus, Mary, and Joseph were not "Christians"? But there is plenty of room for deer and sleighs and Jolly Old Saint Nick, just a bit of state-sanctioned paganism. Eh, what? The concept of the "separation of church and state" revolves upon the idea that there shall be no religion established by the state as a formal "state" religion. As an example, Islam is the "state" religion in Saudi Arabia. So much so that there is no idea of "freedom of religion" in Saudi Arabia and no religions other than Islam exist there. No churches can be built there. Or in England, for the present at least, the Anglican Church I believe is the state-sanctioned religion. There is no "state" religion in the United States at the moment. That of course can change as we progress down our merry path of "dhimmitude" but we aren't there quite yet. The imams acting out in the airport, designed I would bet to push the envelope; the taxi drivers refusing to take certain patrons - all incremental steps to establishing "special" treatment? Hmmm... Think about the overt acts to call attention to themselves and then claim "victim" status. Good psy-ops there. Christians are being killed or enslaved in Sudan with the eventual result being the establishment of an Islamic state. Christians living in the Indonesian islands are experiencing the same thing - in their case, entire island Christian populations are being slaughtered by adherents of the religion of peace. That is the extreme method of establishing a "state"-sanctioned religion. Yet in the United States, during a holiday season, the Christmas Season to be exact, the very exhibit of the nativity scene has become a scourge with lawyers screaming, "Foul, foul, no sign of Christianity allowed! The display of a nativity scene is the sanctioning of a "state" religion." Shriek, shriek! Get the stakes, get the stakes! Pound them into the heart of Christians, besmirch them and their beliefs but, don't forget to take their money... Give me a break! Why is it that Christians must endure the shunning, the disparaging of their faith, yet one congressman wants to have HR 288 passed to confer special status upon Islam - state-sanctioned, special status - so that even speaking about the "religion" in open dialogue would be classified as "hate" speech? Would not that bill, HR 288, be akin to establishing a "state" sanctioned religion more equal than other religions in the United States? What is the fear held by some of Christianity? We have studies of Islam and deference shown at Ramadan in our public schools. The word "Chritsmas" is not even allowed to be spoken. Aside from the most threaten "species" in our society, the much maligned white male (God love 'em all), Christianity is running a close second on the road to being "banned", at least speech about it, displays about it in public. By its very existence, Christianity which cannot ever be a "state" sanctioned religion - which denomination would be the chosen one - is very much abused today. How do we get our sanity back?

Wren Cross - Gene Nichol's to the Board of Visitors (11-20-2006)

The following is Nichol's full statement about the Wren Cross before Board of Visitors. From the W&M News Service: Nichol discusses Wren cross decision with BOV Nichol discusses Wren cross decision with BOV News · W&M News · Notes · Wren Chapel cross Author: Staff, Source: W&M Notes Date: Nov 20, 2006 Several weeks ago, President Gene R. Nichol asked the director of the historic campus to change College practice and display the table cross in the Wren Chapel only during Christian religious services or, as requested, for individual worship. The decision generated much debate on campus and in the editorial pages of several regional newspapers (see below). On Nov. 16, Nichol read, in part, the following statement concerning the decision at the meeting of the Board of Visitors. —Ed. I’d … begin by saying a word about my decision to alter our practice of displaying the cross in the Wren Chapel. It will not surprise you that I have heard much about these actions. Some have expressed approval. Others have registered disagreement, or worse. The student assembly has considered the matter. Discussion has occurred in our faculty councils. An on-line petition has been assembled. University officials have received letters, e-mails and phone calls. Board members have as well. Some have thought that my steps disrespect the traditions of the College, or, even more unacceptably, the religious beliefs of its members. That perception lies heavy on my heart. I understand that I tread on difficult ground. It is, by now, well known that I am taken with William and Mary students. All William and Mary students. And though we haven’t meant to do so, the display of a Christian cross—the most potent symbol of my own religion—in the heart of our most important building sends an unmistakable message that the Chapel belongs more fully to some of us than to others. That there are, at the College, insiders and outsiders. Those for whom our most revered place is meant to be keenly welcoming, and those for whom presence is only tolerated. That distinction, I believe, to be contrary to the best values of the College. It is precisely because the Wren Chapel touches the best in us—the brightened lamp, the extended hand, the opened door, the call of character, the charge of faith, the test of courage—that it is essential it belong to everyone. There is no alternate Wren Chapel, no analogous venue, no substitute space. Nor could there be. The Wren is no mere museum or artifact. It touches every student who enrolls at the College. It defines us. And it must define us all. I make no pretense that all will agree with these sentiments. The emotions and values touched by this dispute are deeply felt. But difficult issues are the grist of great universities. Amidst the turmoil, the cross continues to be displayed on a frequent basis. I have been pleased to learn that students of disparate religions have reported using the Chapel for worship and contemplation for the first time. In the College’s family there should be no outsiders. All belong. ------------- If you are a graduate or a student of The College of William and Mary, you may be embarrassed by the words of the current president. They must be growing thin-skinned students at The College of William and Mary these days in general because I have travelled around much of the world, visited Tao Temples in China, visited Buddhist Temples in Thailand and Japan, visited Catholic Churches, visited Westminster Abbey - and in no case did I feel unwelcomed nor did I feel that I could not pray or worship the God in whom I believe. The removal of the Wren Cross is like a rape, a violation. The Wren Chapel without its Wren Cross is an empty place, devoid of the solemn majesty that guarantees all of us freedom of religion. It is a sad day when Christians have to plead, to ask permission from a secular authority that the Wren Cross be taken out from under lock and key so that it may be placed upon the altar in the Wren Chapel. Shame on the one letter writer who complained not knowing that in their "victory" stands the means for their defeat. And shame on the Board of Visitors for allowing such a disgraceful display. It is more than a present-day disgrace. The action is an overt "slap in the face" of the men and women who gave their lives centuries ago in Virginia, in Williamsburg, fighting to build our great nation to have the Wren Cross removed and the Wren Chapel belittled in this way. [For interested readers, The College of William and Mary has not always been a state school in the same sense as the University of Virginia has for example.]

Pope Benedict XVI - a prayer for courage

Today, I picked up Time Magazine - first time in a great while. On the cover is a picture of Pope Benedict XVI. The only letters larger than the title, Time, are the letters depicting Islam. The article, however, was good. One person's opinion here but I believe Pope Benedict XVI has a mission; I believe he has heard the words of his mission loud and clear. His mission seems to be to bring to the forefront the recognition and acknowledgement by Muslim clerical leaders of the violence that seems embedded within the teachings of Islam. Eventually, this brave Pope may even give his life for that mission. One issue that he does not shirk is the issue of "dhimmitude", the second-class status of non-Muslims living in nations dominated by Islam. He may well speak to the issue that Muslims in non-Muslim nations are allowed to build mosques, build schools, etc. The Pope may well ask for equally fair treatment of non-Muslims, many of whom are not allowed to build houses of worship, wear crosses, and in places such as Saudi Arabia, are even forbidden to have Bibles. As one small voice, I wish the Pope well on his journey. He is the Vicar of Christ and I sense that he is a warrior for truth. Godspeed, Pope Benedict the XVI.

Wren Cross Status Up-date

I am posting this immediately. It is an up-date on the status of the Wren Cross at the Wren Chapel at The College of William and Mary. I should state by way of disclaimer, that I am not affiliated with the Save the Wren Cross movement. I have completed graduate studies there and the College with its history, standards, and status are dear to me. PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: SaveTheWrenCross.org November 27, 2006 Email: info@SaveTheWrenCross.org _________________________________________
One Letter of Complaint Largely Responsible for Decision by College of William & Mary to Remove 100 Year Old Cross from College’s 274 Year Old Chapel William & Mary Responds to Freedom of Information Request by Producing a Single Letter of Complaint about the Wren Cross Written Prior to Cross Removal Order; College Staff Indicates that Disclosed Letter “One of Many” Received That Complained About the Cross Online Petition Calling on William & Mary’s new President to Rescind His Cross Removal Order Now Exceeds 5,000 Signatures WILLIAMSBURG, VA — In response to a request under Virginia’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) for all correspondence with the President of the College of William & Mary complaining about the presence of a cross that was until recently on permanent display in the College’s historically Christian chapel, the College’s office of University relations has recently released one single such letter of complaint. “It leaves one almost speechless”, said senior Benjamin Locher, one of the student leaders of the SaveTheWrenCross.org effort and the individual who made the FOIA request. “Can it be that a single letter led to the removal of a cross that had been on the Chapel’s altar table for nearly 70 years? Could a single person’s opinion have so largely played a role in the whitewashing of William & Mary’s collective history?”, asked Locher. “The Wren Cross had been on the altar in Wren Chapel a lot longer than W&M’s leadership has been alive. Surely, there must have been at least scores of complaints made about the Wren Cross before the president ordered the cross removed. I think the College should disclose all complaints about the cross that were submitted before the president’s decision. If requested, Virginia law requires it. Otherwise, what W&M tradition will next be toppled by a single complaint?” Junior and fellow SaveTheWrenCross leader Joseph Luppino-Esposito adds, “On one hand, we have so far a single letter of complaint prior to the removal of the cross. On the other hand, our petition effort now has 5,000+ names of students, alumni, Virginians, and others who want William & Mary to reverse its decision, restore the Wren Cross to the altar table, and follow the policy that was in place before.” (SaveTheWrenCross.org is an ad hoc coalition of students and alumni of the College of William & Mary who are opposed to William & Mary’s new President Gene Nichol’s October 2006 order to remove the 100 year old Wren Cross from permanent display on the altar table in Wren Chapel, to be used henceforth in Wren Chapel only during "appropriate religious services". The Wren Cross had been a permanent fixture on the Wren Chapel altar since it was given to the College by Williamsburg neighbor Bruton Parish Episcopal Church in the 1930s. SaveTheWrenCross.org is dedicated to the return to the policy that governed the display of the Wren Cross in Wren Chapel prior to President Nichol’s order to remove it, which permitted any group or individual using the Wren Chapel to remove the Wren Cross upon request during their use of the Wren Chapel.)
Due to gene nichol's demonstration of poor judgement, I suggest that it is time to get a new president for The College of William and Mary. The sooner, the better. Was gene nichol acting at the request of one "thin-skinned" complaint or was the letter a ruse under which he could cover his action? You know, "the letter made me do it." Lest we forget, the Wren Chapel is a Christian chapel. From how many other Christian chapels will crosses be removed if this precedent is allowed to stand?

Creation of Anti-Islamofascism Movement

The following post comes from The Creation of an Anti-Islamofascism Movement. The NoisyRoom.net is part of the 910 Group. The following letter proves that there is nothing new under the sun and when called upon to do it, we must bring out the tactics and means to engage an even more cunning foe - self-declared foe of anything non-Muslim. If you are interested, please contact vsk@vicktorya.net Her e-mail can be found on the 910 Group blog: The 910 Group. You can also find the letter at these blogs: on Jack's site here: To the Point News and on Atlas Shrugs, here: Atlas Shrugs. Also posting on this, Thunder Pig at: Thunder Pig... Blogging the Conservative Revolution in West Carolina! I have highlighted topics contained within the letter. A combined effort of all interested blogs is what the effort will take. We are in a major PR war and the terrorists are adapt at it. They have inordinate help from our own news media and, wittingly or unwittingly from our own Democrat party. I have also posted meager "list of things to do" to stop the spread of Islamofacism, see Stop the Islamic Theocratic take-over of the West. THE CREATION OF AN ANTI-ISLAMOFASCISM MOVEMENT Posted By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton @ 7:38 pm. Filed under Politics, Middle East/Terrorism Courtesy of To The Point News: Written by Jack Wheeler & Steve Baldwin Friday, 24 November 2006 [This memo is being sent to the leaders of every major conservative organization in America]
TO: Conservative Leaders FR: Jack Wheeler & Steve Baldwin RE: The Creation of an Anti-Islamofascism Movement Anti-Communism: The Original Conservative Movement One cannot write the history of the Cold War without acknowledging the key role played by the American Anti-Communist Movement. It was a broad movement involving many different organizations that, for four decades, kept its focus on the defeat of the Soviet Empire. And it succeeded. Indeed, Anti-Communism was the defining issue that brought hundreds of thousands of people into the conservative movement from the 1950s throught the 1980s. There was a sense that this movement had to be successful if not only America but Western Civilization itself were to survive. What did this Movement Accomplish? The Anti-Communist Movement was formed after World War II when it was revealed that Soviet spies were operating throughout our government. This movement became one of the most successful political movements in our history. It started out slowly due to liberal propaganda during WWII which convinced many Americans that Russia was our friend since they were aligned with us during the war. By the 1950’s, the Anti-Communist Movement had created a massive infrastructure which became a major educational and political force within America. This movement: * Exposed pro-communist groups operating within our borders. The movement lobbied Congress to have hearings and even to create standing committees to carry out investigations (such as the House Un-American Activities Committee). This greatly limited the effectiveness of these pro-communist groups and educated an entire generation of Americans about the domestic subversive threat. * Lobbied for bigger defense budgets, a bigger Navy, more nuclear missiles, SDI, and a more aggressive foreign policy to oppose the Soviet Empire. * Generated a slew of newsletters, magazines, speaker bureaus, radio shows, etc. that educated generations of Americans as to what Communism stood for and how it endangered our freedom. * Created a political force that affected the election of hundreds of Anti-Communist politicians and influenced how people voted for at least 2-3 generations. This movement eventually led to the election of Ronald Reagan, the person most responsible for our victory over the Soviet Empire. The Infrastructure of Anti-Communism This American Anti-Communist Movement also created an infrastructure by establishing smaller specialty groups that focused on individual issues. For example, the movement created groups that: * Supported Anti-Soviet Freedom Fighter movements challenging communist regimes in Afghanistan, Nicaragua, Angola and other Soviet colonies. Some of these groups raised funds for these resistance movements and even delivered supplies. * Developed and promoted the concept of missile defense as a viable strategic tactic. * Worked on intelligence issues such as making sure our intelligence agencies had the resources to counter the Soviet threat. * Worked on geo-strategic issues such as energy and how they affected the Soviet Empire. * Encouraged and funded East Bloc dissidents and helped dissidents escape from Iron Curtain countries. Such groups would send these dissidents on speaking tours creating a flurry of articles about the horrors of the Gulag and the inhumanity of the Soviet system. * Smuggled in Anti-Communist literature behind the Iron Curtain; Christian mission groups would smuggle in Bibles knowing that religious belief would help undermine the Soviet Communist system. * Lobbied corporations and government entities to disinvest funds from the East Block or to cease trade. * Lobbied to increase funding for the Defense budget and to educate Americans about massive Soviet military spending. * Formed Anti-Communist youth groups domestically (Young Americans for Freedom) and worldwide (World Anti-Communist League) whose main goal was to educate youth about communism. * Formed groups that pushed for alliances with other countries who were similarly threatened, such as NATO. Forming a Similar Infrastructure to Combat Radical Islam We don’t think anyone can dispute the fact that the forces of Islamofascism have embarked upon a World War of global conquest that may last for decades if not longer. Since Islamofascist terrorists have no boundaries, this war will be even tougher to fight than our battle was against the Soviet empire. Already, the Islamofascists have a beachhead in Western Europe. According to demographic experts, Europe will become Islamic in a generation - and it’s not the moderates who hold sway in the Islamic communities in Europe. If these numbers are translated to political power - which undoubtedly will be the case - it will have dire consequences. Eventually, radical Islamic political blocs will take power in many European nations such as Belgium, Holland, France, and Britain. The Washington Times reports (11/21/06) that Russia is well on its way to becoming an Islamic country. Within eight years (by 2015) over half the soldiers in the Russian Army will be Moslem. By 2020, over 20% of Russia’s entire population will be Moslem. What happens when Moslems in political power have access to the nuclear arsenals of Russia, France, and Britain? Couple this with the increased presence of Islam in Africa and Latin America, and there is a distinct possibility that America, within a generation of two, will be alone in the world. We would be encircled by enemies dedicated to our destruction. No doubt by then, there will be thousands of Jihadists within the US prepared to carry out terrorist acts on command from international Islamic powers. We cannot allow this to happen without a fight. Western Civilization is worth fighting for. We cannot allow our grandchildren to live in Islamofascist tyranny. But we don’t seem to be prepared for this war. Unlike the movement created during the Cold War, there doesn’t seem to be much of an infrastructure to combat Islamofascism. If we truly care about our children and grandchildren, then we must create an infrastructure modeled after the Anti-Communist Movement. Here’s a few areas off the top of our heads that an Anti-Islamofascism Movement could be addressing: * Investigate radical mosques. 80% of mosques in America are Saudi-funded and promote a form of Radical Islam known as Wahhabism. There aren’t any groups that monitor them or call for congressional or IRS investigations of their activities. Yet we know from literature picked up by those who have signed up for classes at these mosques that many promote jihad against the West. If a Christian church did that, they would lose their tax-exempt status within a week. * Support Anti-Islamofascist freedom fighters. There are resistance and dissident groups within Iran and other radical Islamic countries who are willing to organize against their regimes if they had some outside assistance. Yet there are no groups set up to promote their cause or to lobby Congress to get them covert assistance. * Thwart attempts to impose Sharia Law. The ultimate goal of Islamofascists is to impose Islamic “Sharia” religious law upon us all. Groups could monitor and block every Fabian effort (imposing Sharia in small bites) like demands for prayer rooms and allowing headscarves in schools. * A Rapid Response media team to stand up to Islamic bullying. The US Airways story removing Moslem imams from a flight resulted in a barrage of denunciations from Moslem advocacy groups like CAIR with no one to give a “fair and balanced” rebuttal. What is needed is an “Anti-CAIR” media team that can praise the justifiable concern of airline passengers for their safety and demand that Moslems understand that concern. There must be no tolerance for Islamic bullying. * Form an Anti-Islamofascist publishing network. There is a great need for more publications and newsletters that focus on the Islamofascist threat both here and abroad. Remember the “Pink Sheet of the Left”? It launched an explosion of Anti-Communist publications. * Create an Anti-Islamofascist portal on the Internet. There’s a need for a website “portal” coordinating efforts to monitors all the radical Muslim foundations, leaders, organizations, mosques, etc. now operating in the US who have already been tied to terrorists or are espousing radical viewpoints. Such a website would also allow private citizens to contribute intelligence to it. For example, Joe Sixpack reports picking up a flyer promoting jihad from a neighboring mosque. This intelligence would be checked for accuracy and if accurate, added to the entry on the website under the name of that mosque. * Establish an Anti-Islamofascist Speakers Bureau. There are many experts in addition to the small number now known to the media such as Frank Gaffney and Robert Spencer, who can talk about the world-wide Islamofascist threat. But most media people don’t know who they are or where to find them. There’s a need for a speaker’s bureau marketing Anti-Islamofascist experts in a systematic fashion to all the major media outlets. * Monitor the billions now being spent on Homeland Security. There are already reports of large-scale waste and fraud occurring, which, of course, takes funds away from counter-terror efforts. There currently aren’t any groups that monitor the effectiveness of various Homeland Security tactics or lobby to institute new tactics and strategies that may be more effective. * Wage an ideological assault on Islamofascism. Radical Islam is a totalitarian doctrine with numerous parallels to Marxism, yet intellectually crude and medievally primitive. A scholarly assault through think-tanks, seminars, and conferences can be conducted, targeting the multitude of weaknesses and vulnerabilities of Islamofascism. * Support the Chinese Christian Back to Jerusalem project to evangelize Moslems in Europe and the Middle East. China is on its way to becoming a majority Christian nation within 20 years, with over 100 million Christians right now. Not only can they serve as a major bulwark against the spread of Islam in Asia, but many are determined to reverse that spread throughout the world. Teams of Chinese missionaries are already preaching the Gospel in many countries abroad, with tens of thousands to follow. Their efforts could be greatly assisted by the large network of Christian philanthropists who fund mission work. * Create a Global Anti-Islamofascist Coalition. We need to identify and work with other organizations in Europe and elsewhere who are working against the Islamofascist threat. They exist, but few know anything about them. The Anti-Islamofascist movement needs to become a world wide coalition. * Reframe the illegal immigration issue as one of national security. This is already being done by Congressman (and 2008 presidential candidate) Duncan Hunter. There is evidence that Moslem Terrorists may have crossed our porous borders and if it hasn’t happened already, it certainly will. We also know that they have exploited other immigration issues such as the student VISA program so favored by the 9/11 terrorists. And yet, there is little evidence that much has changed in this regard. We still allow people in from terrorist-harboring countries with little checking, and the Democrats are determined to block the construction of a security fence on our southern border. * End our dependence on foreign oil that’s funding the Islamofascists. Despite protests to the contrary, we know that Saudi money is being funneled to radical madressas and foundations that are the training grounds for Radical Islam. We also know that Hugo Chavez in Venezuela is using his oil billions to fund anti-American groups. It is time that we pushed our political leaders to get out of the way and allow America to become energy independent. We need to stop subsidizing our own enemies. Most Americans are unaware that the Democrats are largely responsible for our dependence on foreign oil. The efforts by Democrats to block the drilling of existing oil and gas deposits (such as the gigantic reserves off our Atlantic and Florida Gulf coasts) and to stop the construction of oil refineries and nuclear power plants is outrageous and needs to be aggressively attacked. This movement should set as one of its goals the elimination of these obstacles so that America can be energy independent within a decade. Where Do We Go From Here? We are not claiming to be experts on how to launch such a movement; we’re just throwing out some ideas based on lessons we learned from being veteran “Cold Warriors” in the Anti-Communist Movement. The intent of this memo is simply to get conservative leaders thinking about how we can create an Anti-Islamofascism infrastructure in this country. This needs to be done in order to preserve both America and Western Civilization. It’s about our survival. Without the Anti-Communist Movement, it’s likely we would still be in the midst of the Cold War today. Wise men and women rose up to the challenge and created a movement that was very much opposed by the existing political and media establishments. But we won. Then we all went to sleep. The Anti-Communist Movement was funded in large part by a network of philanthropies and foundations - Scaife Foundation, Smith-Richardson Foundation, Coors Foundation, and many others who provided the seed money for many of the most successful Anti-Communist groups. Similarly, we will need many of today’s conservative foundations and philanthropies to reassess their missions. They need to be encouraged to reorient their mission so as to help finance projects aimed at combating Islamofascism. Yes, many of them are engaged in important work such a promoting civic and moral values, faith based initiatives, and improving the quality of education. But none of this work will mean much if we lose our culture to radical Islam. And then, of course, we have lots of existing conservative groups but very few of them are focused on addressing this threat. We believe that every conservative group out there needs to reassess is mission and ask itself how it can contribute to this offensive. Perhaps new groups will need to be formed that will focus solely on combating Islamofascism. Once this infrastructure starts to coalesce, it would be productive to have formal coalition meetings to discuss how best to further our goals. Perhaps a meeting needs to be called to discuss all this. Your thoughts? Please email us at: scbaldwin@adelphia.net or drjack@tothepointnews.com. Yours for America and its survival, Jack Wheeler President, Freedom Research Foundation Steve Baldwin Executive Director, Council for National Policy Action, Inc.
We must take this threat seriously and we must bring our vast energy and personal skills into this most serious threat to our culture and our way of life - if not for ourselves personally, for our children and grandchildren upon whom the future relies. We need to provide them the playing field in which to function and attain their highest good. That good cannot be attained under the darkness of Sharia Law. The 910 Group was formed for this purpose, it is written in our logo, it raises its wings like the Phoenix for rebirth and resistance. The threat is real; the time is now. The model exists; we have to adapt the model for this current "war" being waged against us by people in most unconventional means. Our efforts must be focused and relentless as well. We need to appeal to the conservative foundations and leadership who will take a stand with us. None of us can do this individually; ah, but together, each one doing a part, we can accomplish great things for our children and for our future as well as theirs. Join us! [If you see the letter elsewhere on the web, please let me know the link. Thank you!] Join this effort; stand with the cause.

Darfur meets the usual UN suspects

I have refrained from writing about Darfur for several reasons. One reason was that I believed the reality of what I would find regarding the UN member-states involvement against trying to stop the genocide militarily would confirm my suspicion that the UN is increasing an Islamic-controlled organization with collusion from willing European nations, themselves not yet Islamic-controlled but the nations nonetheless joining their international policies with those of the Islamic-controlled nations. [That is a rough sentence, so please excuse.] Another reason that I have refrained is that I see this as a civil war the aim of which is to rid Sudan of Christians (5%) and animists/indigenous beliefs (25%). That the international community of the usual UN suspects is supporting the dominate Islamic-oriented government goes a long way to explaining why nothing will be done to end the genocide. And the government has the guns. We don't have to like it; actually we can and do deplore it but do not look for it to end. It is much like the "religious" cleansing that has been going on in Indonesia especially in the late 1990s and now the early 2000s, as the Muslims convert or slaughter the Christians throughout the Indonesian islands to claim the region for Islam. Further research on my part is needed on the larger claim and that will be forthcoming in later posts. But if one just looks at Sudan and Indonesia as examples, it is not a great leap of the imagination to accept that these are two more pieces in the push by Islam's leaders for world domination through conversion or the sword. These comments are based on reading, on research, on observed behavior, and on the results of that behavior. At the moment, among other books, I am reading Bat Ye'or's , Islam and Dhimmitude, Where Civilizations Collide, published in 2002. Somes books I like to read backwards starting with the last chapter and working my way toward the beginning of the book. Such is the case with Islam and Dhimmitude, which brings me to the subject of Sudan and the genocide taking place in Darfur. First, it saddens me to say that nothing will stop the genocide because the Islamists and their European appeasers; er, I mean, collaborators; er, I mean "abstainers" are in cahoots with their Islamist masters, and therein lies the term, "the usual UN suspects." Another book to read is Eurabia by Bat Ye'or to understand why the European "leaders" are inviting the invasion of their nations and the eventual complete islamification of Europe - it is all about power, money, and oil. It is also about the dhimmification of the native citizenry. A word on Sudan with the facts taken from The World Factbook - Sudan. According to the CIA, Sudan is a military controlled government which is Islamic-oriented. Sudan gained its independence from Egypt and Britain on January 1, 1956 and from the 1980s onward there has been one conflict after another within the country. The population is comprised of 41.2 million people ethnically broken down as 52% black, 39% Arab, and a smattering of others. Religiously, the nation is 70% Sunni Muslim primarily in the north, 5% Christian, and then the remaining 25% being animists and other. There is 18% un-employment. I found it interesting that there are about 2.8 million internet users. The conflict in Darfur broke out in 2003 with 200,000 deaths and 2 million people displaced. But as a result of the ongoing conflicts/wars within the nation since the 1980s, somewhere between 5.3 to 6.2 million people have been displaced. Genocide has been ongoing since 2003/2005. The UN has been especially worthless with regard to ending the genocide in Darfur for several reasons but for this post, I'll focus on the exclusion of the Christian Solidarity International (CSI - an NGO) as a consultative group at the United Nations. The following comes from Islam and Dhimmitue, pages 356 - 358. The material has been paraphrased unless otherwise noted. First, the CSI had reported on the deplorable conditions in Sudan relating to the enslaving of black African women and children. Sudan filed a complaint with the UN and on October 26, 1999, at a special meeting of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC),
"twenty-four out of its fifty-four member states voted in favor of the exclusion of CSI from the UN, fourteen voted against" removing CSI from the UN, "while fifteen abstained, and one member was absent...By deliberately choosing to "abstain" - alongside ten countries from Central Africa and South America, and two others - France (5-10%M), Italy (%M not given), and Spain (%M not given) caused a dramatic split within the European Union and in the Western democratic camp on a major issue: slavery in Sudan." According to John Eibner - the pioneer of CSI's antislavery program - Europe's readiness to appease the Arab world on the issue of Sudanese slavery was crucial to the success of the Government of Sudan's efforts to strip CSI of its consultative status at the UN. This anti-dhimmi political convergence on the part of European and Muslim governments inevitably eroded the survival of Christianity in Muslim countries....(page 357)
I will leave it to you to read the rest from Islam and Dhimmitude but from my reading, the interests of the appeasers of the perpetrators of the murders and enslavement of black Christians in Sudan far out-weigh the appeasers' interests in having the truth of Darfur told. Of the 54 member nations that voted to keep the CSI in its consultative status to the UN, the list is worth noting here: Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lesotho, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, United Kingdom, and the United States. These nations and these nations alone voted to keep CSI in its position of informing of the genocide taking place in Darfur. The following nations were among the 24 who voted in effect to "see no evil, hear no evil" about the genocide occurring in Sudan: Algeria (99%M); China (1-2%M); Cuba (0%); Ethiopia (45-50%M); India (13.4%M); Lebanon (60%M); Pakistan (97%M); Russia(10-15%M); Senegal (94%M); Sudan (70%M); Tunisia (98%M); Turkey (99.8%M); Indonesia (88%M); Morocco (98.7%M); Oman (90%M); Saudi Arabia (100%M); Syria (90%M); and Japan. [The (%M) = the percentage of the nation's population that is Muslim.] The vote to remove the consultative status of CSI from the UN was in effect a tacit approval of the genocide, the slavery, and the wiping out of Christianity in Sudan. You who live in the EU and in South America will have to ask your nation's leaders why they voted to remove the CSI from telling the truth of what is occurring in Sudan. And from the book, "The Holy See was conspicuous by its silence alongside the World Council of Churches, and other NGOs." We know why France and Russia did not support the Iraq War; we know it was due to their financial deals with Saddam. What "deals" or other considerations are influencing their votes or their "abstaining" with regard to the tragic conditions in Darfur? And of the nations that "abstained", which are on the brink of becoming islamic in character and how high will the price of dhimmitude be upon the native citizens of those nations?

Islamists' busy little helpers

The reading list of posts is designed to inform and increase our awareness of the threat of Islamic Theocratic Imperialism whose stated goal is the overthrow of Western nations and to bring about the dhimmification of the citizenry. We are already paying "dhimmi" taxes in the form of money extorted from Western nations by nations sponsoring terrorist groups to immunize them from jihadist attacks. How's that working? The posts were entered at the blogs listed below: From Hidden Dragon: Muslim Brotherhood, The Project Posted by Pim's Ghost at What would Charles Martel do?: Why is Tampa's Station Fox 13 Marching for CAIR If you would like to have one of your posts added, please just provide the url in the comments and I'll link it in this list. These posts would be ones that you believe others need to read in order to become more informed of the reality of the threat to the liberties and freedoms of the citizens, not only of Western nations, but of the world.

Stop the Islamic Theocratic take-over of the West

Let's get the name calling over with right away - call me a "racist", a "bigot", an Islamophobe - whatever you like. Now, let's get down to business. First things first: if you have a post that you have written for your blog that follows the theme of Western nations saying, "Enough is enough!" and you'd like, please leave the url in comments here. Don't link; I'll do that as I add your post to what I hope will become a good reading list for interested visitors to this blog. The threat of Islamic Theocratic Imperialsim is real. Look at a world map. See the nations that have already fallen to Islam's march; look at the nations wih Christian or Buddhist majorities who now have "minority" status within what were formerly their own nations. Look at a nation like Russia on target to become an Islamic Republic by mid-century. Why? Because of the unchecked legal and illegal invasion/immigration from Russia's satellite "nations" that formed part of the former USSR. France is an Islamic Republic in all but name only. Why? Because Muslims in France as elsewhere have no desire to assimilate into the culture of the "host" country. Speaking of "host" - that is the term used when a disease, parasite, virus, etc. invades the body and feeds off of the host until the host is killed. In France, generally speaking, the Muslims, in accordance with Koranic law of not adjusting/assimilating within the nation "targeted" for take-over, live in closed communities; do not assimilate, do not work, do not contribute other than fire-bombing cars, attacking the school busses of Jewish children, attacking police, and on it goes. In turn, the French government - the winner of the lifetime Academy Award's achievement award as the Appeasers Extraordinaire Award - increases the subsidies and makes conciliations. In other words, the French government pays its "dhimmitude" tax - a tax that proves to the Muslims that they are superior to the foolish French elite; that non-Muslims willingly become dhimmis within their own nation. Some measures to be taken immediately to stop the spread of the take-over of Western nations by Islamic Theocratic Imperialism: 1) end the policy of issuing visas to Islamists and to Saudi students "sent to US" to study engineering, nuclear physics, etc. 2) close down all organizations such as CAIR whose goal is to use US Constitutional Law to undermine our democratic republic and replace it bit-by-bit with Shari'a 3) close down all mosques where hatred and anti-Americanism is taught 4) close down all Wahhabi madrassas operating within the United States of America 5) teach and impress upon American citizens that Islam is a theocracy which includes a religious arm, a political arm, and a military arm - all geared for world domination and the over-throw of legitimate governments 6) deport all imams preaching hatred and anti-Americanism as well as jihad within mosques 7) deport all Muslims who have over-stayed their visas 8) deport ALL Muslims who are here illegally based upon their infiltration into our nation by violating our immigration laws, ie, those crossing our borders with Mexico and with Canada 9) outlaw the wearing of the veil and the burka 10) end all "out-reach" programs within our prisons lead by imams to recruit converts to the Islamist jihadist cause 11) close all isolated Islamic communities established such as the one set up within Virginia 12) initiate a moritorium on all immigration of Muslims into Western nations. Islam must under-go major reform before it will be able to exist as a "religion supporting the ideal of the separation of church and state" with non-Muslim neighbors. That fault resides within the laws of the Koran, the dictates of the ayatollahs, and the battle is within Islam. Those in power will not give up their totalitarian control easily. Muslims who want to co-exist with non-Muslim neighbors have their work cut out for them. But these measures go against the Constitution, you say. These activities and organizations have as their goal, the over-throw of our government. We have laws to deal with subversion and treason; let's get to it. If you know of any blogs or websites not already on my list of blogs, that are working to show the hypocracy and the attachments between terrorists organizations, foreign governments, and seemingly innocuous organizations within the US or your nation set to estabish Shari'a and the eventual overthrow of your nation, please leave me comments to that effect. If you have a post you would like listed in my subsequent post, please leave here in comments or in comments of Islamists' busy little helpers. Thank you. Stay safe...

Jewish folks in France - under attack

The following is an e-mail sent to me from Hidden Dragon. I have copied it directly and made no changes. It comes from Atlas Shrugs. Read more: European Anti-Semitism spikes up. Subject: Frightening News from France hat tip Dave Once again, the real news in France is conveniently not being reported as it should. To give you an idea of what's going on in France where there are now between 5 and 6 million Muslims and about 600,000 Jews. Here is an email that came from a Jew living in France. "I AM A JEW -- therefore I am forwarding this to everyone on all my e-mail lists. I will not sit back and do nothing." Nowhere have the flames of anti-Semitism burned more furiously than in France: In Lyon, a car was rammed into a synagogue and set on fire. In Montpellier, the Jewish religious center was firebombed; so were synagogues in Strasbourg and Marseilles; so was a Jewish school in Creteil - all recently. A Jewish sports club in Toulouse was attacked with Molotov cocktails, and on the statue of Alfred Dreyfus in Paris , the words "Dirty Jew" were painted. In Bondy, 15 men beat up members of a Jewish football team with sticks and metal bars. The bus that takes Jewish children to school in Aubervilliers has been attacked three times in the last 14 months. According to the Police, metropolitan Paris has seen 10 to 12 anti-Jewish incidents PER DAY in the past 30 days. Walls in Jewish neighborhoods have been defaced with slogans proclaiming "Jews to the gas chambers" and "Death to the Jews." A gunman opened fire on a kosher butcher's shop (and, of course, the butcher) in Toulouse, France; a Jewish couple in their 20s were beaten up by five men in Villeurbanne, France. The woman was pregnant; a Jewish school was broken into and vandalized in Sarcelles, France. This was just in the past week. So I call on you, whether you are a fellow Jew, a friend, or merely a person with the capacity and desire to distinguish decency from depravity, to do, at least, these three simple things: First, care enough to stay informed. Don't ever let yourself become deluded into thinking that this is not your fight. I remind you of what Pastor Neimoller said in World War II: "First they came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up, because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me". Second, boycott France and French products. Only the Arab countries are more toxically anti-Semitic and, unlike them, France exports more than just oil and hatred. So boycott their wines and their perfumes. Boycott their clothes and their foodstuffs. Boycott their movies. Definitely boycott their shores. If we are resolved we can exert amazing pressure and, whatever else we may know about the French, we most certainly know that they are like a cobweb in a hurricane in the face of well directed pressure. Third, send this along to your family, your friends, and your co-workers. Think of all of the people of good conscience that you know and let them know that you and the people that you care about need their help. The number one best selling book in France is "September 11: The Frightening Fraud," which argues that no plane ever hit the Pentagon. Rosamund Sakol" How long will the world sit and wait? Will the UN ever overcome its anti-Semitic bias?

Diana West's word on Thanksgiving

Diana West, one of my favorite writers, has added another great post to her outstanding and growing body of work: Festival of illusion. Ms. West brings to mind a more peaceful time, a time when families, for one day, stay home; when streets are silent; when the frenetic energy stops, just for a second... Today, we see mothers shopping at WalMart at midnight, sometimes with babies in the carts, sometimes not. We need a peace to return to our nation - not one of Shari'a Law - but a peace of times when we just don't swoop down upon the stores that make shopping more "convenient". In Festival of illusion, Ms. West reminds us that:
...Thanksgiving is above all my favorite holiday, maybe because it retains its essence. Not so other special days on the calendar. The wild orgy of consumption beginning the day after Thanksgiving has long rendered the Christmas season the most pagan of religious holidays. ...But in what may be an inversion of American exceptionalism, our singular sense of ourselves has somehow insulated our entire nation from what it's like to play for keeps -- from what it means to live in a new age of Islamic jihad. With the exception of our military families, we, as a people, have remained insulated from our time of war. Maybe this all started, at least in earnest, after September 11, when President Bush, even as he prepared to fight "terror" -- that politically correct and historically misleading term for jihad violence -- implored Americans to get back to those shopping malls, just as if the nation could fight a war in perpetuity without ever noticing it... Is that good? It doesn't feel good... but how about the president asking Americans to avoid driving one day a week? Without any thought of sacrifice... Of course, the election indicates Americans were feeling something -- that things were going wrong in Iraq and elsewhere... If such dissatisfaction goads us... to face up to the difficult, politically incorrect and uncomfortable facts of beating back global jihad, it would be something to be truly thankful for.
Please read Ms. West's entire article. We seem unaware of the "high stakes" we are involved in against the global islamic jihad that has been declared upon, not only Western nations, but nations such as Russia as well. I read recently, front page news actually, that Russia expects to become a Muslim/Islamic nation perhaps before mid-century. Do you think that will change the geopolitical landscape? What will it take to raise us from our lethargy? Islam has declared war against the world indiscriminately - against Christians, Jews, Hindus - against everyone. What is the international community going to do about it? Wait for the UN to send in blue-fluffed "peace keepers" like the ones in Lebanon who hide in the dark of night so that the caravans of re-supply can get to Hezbollah unscathed? Shame on us if we don't rise to this "curse", this overt attack against our way of life. Our national cowardice will never be forgiven. People are being slaughtered; small nations are under attack; and the UN curses Israel. (Islamic Extremists or Muslim Islamists) God bless our brave troops and undercover agents wherever they may serve. May we be worthy of them and of their blood and sacrifice.

Islamic Extremists or Muslim Islamists?

It is increasingly more difficult to follow the "politically correct" line of distinguishing between Muslims and Islamists, or those known as the extremists. Why? Because the outrages that are occurring internationally are all being committed by Muslims - all of course in the name of the defense of Allah. But, is the tide beginning to turn? Are Christians in Africa, as an example, and Israelis beginning to admit at long last that the attacks they suffer and the "religious" purgings that are occurring are - at their core - Islam's most recent and most relentless attack throughout the centuries against their described enemies, we infidels? And finally, can the world international community that is not Muslim wait much longer before containing the very real and very vocalized threat and intent of the Muslim Islamists? World domination. Here are several articles you may find "interesting" in view of the carnage that is being perpetrated in Darfur and in other African regions. Ethiopia prepares for war with Somali Islamists by Emmanuel Gougon of AGENCE FRANCE-PRESSE on November 24, 2006.
ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia -- Prime Minister Meles Zenawi said yesterday that his country has completed preparations for war with neighboring Somalia's powerful Islamist movement, alongside faltering peace efforts. Mr. Meles told parliament that the Islamists, who have declared holy war on Ethiopian troops deployed to Somalia to protect the weak internationally backed government, were a "clear and present danger" to his country. Shortly after Mr. Meles' announcement, the Islamists said in Mogadishu that they were ready to defend themselves from a "reckless and war-thirsty" Ethiopia and invited a U.S. delegation to visit in an apparent bid to cool the situation... Mainly Christian Ethiopia has watched with growing concern the rise on its southeastern border of the Islamists, who seized Mogadishu in June and now control most of southern and central Somalia. "If Ethiopia is ready for war, we are very ready for the defense of our country," said SICS spokesman Abdurahim Ali Muddey. "But we urge Ethiopia to refrain from its reckless, war-thirsty behavior. We are not a threat to Ethiopia, but the presence of its troops in our homeland is a serious security risk to Somalia as well as Ethiopia." ... the Islamists said holy warriors had carried out attacks on Ethiopian military targets across Baidoa, the only government-held city, about 155 miles northwest of Mogadishu.
Rape law amended to ease trials by Munir Ahmed ASSOCIATED PRESS on November 24, 2006.
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan -- The Senate overcame opposition from hard-line Muslim lawmakers and amended its rape law yesterday to make it easier to prosecute sexual-assault cases. The legislation, known as the Protection of Women Bill, comes amid efforts by Islamabad to soften the country's hard-line Islamic image and appease centrists and human rights groups who opposed the law. The amended law would drop the death penalty for people found to have had sex outside of marriage, though they still would be subject to a five-year prison term or a $165 fine. Judges also will be able to choose whether to try a rape case in a criminal court or Islamic court, which should make it easier to convict rapists.
And from editorial writer we have A town under seige by Joel Mowbray, November 24, 2006.
The international outrage machine is ginned up again, and all but seven members of the U.N. General Assembly recently voted to condemn Israel for its military incursion into Gaza. The buzzword — recycled from Israel's summer war with Hezbollah — is "overreaction." To what is Israel "overreacting?" Hamas, using the tactic that Hezbollah licensed from it this summer, is indiscriminately launching rockets into civilian areas, hoping to kill as many innocents as possible. Israel's current military action is far from an overreaction. It is, in fact, a delayed reaction. Rockets have been raining down in southern Israel for years now, and only this summer did the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) finally execute a sustained response... For more than five years, the residents of Sderot...
The international community cannot rely on the UN - the glorious plan of the United Nations gone astray; an organization designed to arbitrate disputes and to seek "world peace." To watch the posturing of some of the representatives of the dictators for whom they speak, you'd think you were watching a Miss Universe doe-in-the-headlights, blank wide-eyed look of "the lights are on but nobody's home." When will we rid the world of this abomination? The UN is made up increasingly of representative nations who are anti-American and anti-freedom and liberty. The UN has its subset of the 118 member-nations who comprise the Un-aligned Nations - what a joke! These are the folks who danced the night away in Havana recently and bolstered the likes of Hugo Ugo and Mad Jad to speak so outrageously of our President Bush on our soil. The representatives who were in the UN general assembly room cheered. I say - focus in the cameras and cut off the US tax payers' dollars to those ingrates. But, you have to hand it to the Islamists in Somalia - their ability to turn their aggression into an attack upon them by Ethiopia really takes "balls" or just good old-fashioned psy-ops. The Islamists have the propaganda going for them; so sad that an arm of the Islamists aggression is the mainstream media of the US and the Western world. Read the commentary A town under seige and ask yourself if the Israelis are at fault. If they are at fault of anything, it is of "delayed action" of failing to protect their citizens. Soon it will be "balls to the walls" and there will be no denying or avoiding the "Islamic crusade" against the non-Muslim world. How loud do their imams have to shout? How many non-Muslims must die?

Tony Blankley and Making the last mistake in Iraq

A note on our first Thanksgiving at Berkeley Plantation which is Virginia’s most historic plantation. The first English speaking Thanksgiving feast was held by the Jamestown Colonists in Berkeley Planation in 1619..." "On December 4, 1619, early settlers from England came ashore at Berkeley Plantation and observed the first official Thanksgiving in America", celebrating with seafood, crab, and mussels...and now forward to today... As we are now celebrating our day of Thanksgiving as first celebrated in 1619 at the Berkeley Plantation on the shore of the James River in Virginia, we must look to the decisions we are about to make with regard to Iraq and the Iraqi citizens - the men, women, and children who look to us to keep our word. Making the last mistake in Iraq by Tony Blankley is a must read on these few days of reflection with family and friends.
The decisions made on Iraq over the next few months will take the measure of America's maturity and sense of responsibility. Because, whether we like it or not, our decisions — and our decisions alone — will determine whether the barely containable murderous pathologies of the Middle East will just be dumped into the face of humanity — or whether rational efforts will be persisted at to contain and mitigate its civilization-threatening forces.
Americans need to contemplate on the seriousness of our course of actions in Iraq. Mr. Blankley points out the importance of our course of action.
We have the most profound obligation to attempt to calculate the consequences of the impending American decision to wash our hands of the Iraq unpleasantness. In that regard, the words of President Kennedy come to mind: "There are risks and costs to a program of action. But they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of comfortable inaction."
Mr. Blankley also brings the question of maturity to the table and says that our actions in the next few months will show the measure of America's maturity. For my part, I suggest that we must not shirk this measure of our maturity and this measure of whether we, as a nation and as a people, are in fact eligible to step up to the plate and be considered a world power for all of our military might. Without the courage, the integrity, and the national resolve, we may well show that we are not worthy of the title of "superpower". I say these words with an optimistic heart because I know that we as a people are greater than those who lead us and it is we who must shore up their spines and call them to stand for us, for our nation, for our place among nations. America has responsibilities in the world. Are we worthy of the men and women who serve in our armed forces? Are we worthy of the men and women who work undercover in places we don't even want to know of? Think of these things and we can determine our nation's course. Put the partisanship and the hatreds aside. This is not the time for "fear" and running. We simply must stand tall as are the young men and women serving us in foreign lands. They are volunteering for more than one mission in Iraq. We must be worthy. We, the people, are better than the politicians. It is we who must be the statesmen; it is we who must make the politicians meet the challenge; it is we who must not leave the Iraqi people, who have looked to us for hope, alone to meet their undeniable fate of slaughter. God bless you and your families - here at home and abroad. God bless all who stand with America and with our men and women serving overseas.

CAIR - A group of de facto Islamic Republic Consulates?

CAIR suggests that it is a Muslim Civil Rights group but, given all of our "civil rights", institutionalized discrimination agencies designed to protect non-white skinned folks, I don't now why we need another one. Perhaps CAIR has other purposes. Hmmmm.... Read everything: know the basics! CAIR official site: http://www.cair-net.org/ CAIR Watch site: http://www.cairwatch.org/ The new website, Stop the Project, has audio files that download and play well, from the November 18 CAIR banquet. It also provides a list of the supporters of the banquet who purchased tables, an interesting group. Personally I have wondered about the intimidation associated with the name CAIR, Council on American Islamic Relations. It sounds like a group formed to be the ombudsman - arbitrator/litigator - between the American government and the Islamic Republic established within the borders of the United States of America. Seems like a subversive group if ever there was one and like other "nations", they have branch offices, er, I mean "consulates" in many major cities. We need to look into the associations between CAIR, the ACLU, and [based upon the infamous and not child-friendly unionization of our public schools by the NEA] the NEA should be considered. Watch for the changes in school curriculum to include Muslim/Islamic teachings whereas Christian teachings are banned, and watch for seemingly PC changes in lunch menus for your children to accommodate Sharia Law. Beware - you are warned; and now for the banquet and CAIR's views and tactics: A number of quotations have been provided at the CAIR website as well, transcribed from the files, which make these points about CAIR, all supported by the audio speeches and selected smaller soundbite files: 1. CAIR’s handling of their Congressmen: Keith Ellison may be committed to supporting CAIR, but CAIR manages its relationships with Congressmen thugishly, with spotty communications and hyped PR. They may want to be thought of as a major 501c4 lobbying group, but their performance is that of amateurs. Sheila Jackson Lee’s excuse for not attending is laughable – a last-minute schedule change to attend the (always spontaneous) 50th anniversary of the local firefighters. Question: Are our laws providing for 501c4 lobbying groups being used for groups such as CAIR who should be tried under our RICO laws? 2. CAIR’s budget: CAIR brags about its cash donations from UAE (if not those from the Saudis) to show their financial clout and intimidate government officials into dhimmitude – and then pleads poverty to fundraise locally. Which is it – big powerful Islamic lobby, or struggling little advocacy group? Response: CAIR seems to functioning as a foreign government(s) using subversive tactics to influence and undermine our democratic republic. These groups should be barred from any legitimate function in our nation. 3. CAIR fund-raising practices: this paragraph is a quotation from the site, which includes links to the audio soundbites backing up these statements: · CAIR claims that the banquet raised over $620,000. However, of that amount, the second $300,000 was allegedly donated by an unnamed “family” as a “match” for the first $300,000 raised. “Families” attended the banquet from the embassies of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, among others. · Even that initial $300,000 was not raised entirely from the Washington area. The master of ceremonies for the fundraising segment at the banquet, Rodwan Saleh (President, Islamic Society of Greater Houston), brought two contributors from Texas with him. The first donation of $50,000 and the second donation of $25,000 were both from his fellow Texans. The third donation of $25,000 came from the Unity Chamber of Commerce of Minnesota, constituents of the absent Congressman-elect Keith Ellison. · The major corporate supporter of CAIR is Citibank, who provided several attendees. (No soundbite but worth mentioning) Response: consider moving your accounts from Citibank if you believe the money they make on your account and the financial lending benefits they receive from having your funds deposited with Citibank help fund anti-American, subversive groups. 4. The total dhimmitude of the FBI: Joseph Persichini of the FBI’s speech is provided, with some quotations provided as text. The speech by Rohrer of the Fairfax police is pure pablum, and not reassuring for Northern Virginiastan. Response: This is a true embarrassment and could well be considered subversion perpetrated by our own FBI, an agency we fund through our taxes. Maybe we need to write the FBI and complain about this clear stance of "submission" to the Islamic Republic's consulates within our borders. Further, maybe we should ask just exactly why and how, a federation of Islamic nations can actually be allowed to have a collective "consulate" within our nation representing them. They all have embassies, correct? The website, Stop the Project, also provides a page listing free Muslim, Ex-Muslim and other organizations working against Islamist aggression, with links to donate to each of them, or to buy the books from anti-Islamist authors. A nice idea for the holiday season. We need to become more aware and active against the "enemy" within our gates. We know of the "enemies" of our Republic who are Americans who wish to turn us into a full-blown Socialist nation with rules, regulations, and handouts from cradle-to-grave, but we need to know of the others such as CAIR destroying our nation under the guise as a "civil rights" group for all of the oppressed Muslims. Remember, CAIR and others are really functioning as de facto "international" State Departments for the nations that support them. This practice should be outlawed within our borders and these groups should be disbanned. The survival of our way of life may depend upon it. CAIR and others are working well to worm their way into the fabric and the bricks and mortar of our nation's foundation. We must stop their activities that threaten our nation.

Sitemeter? Having problems, no access to account?

Anyone who has sitemeter on their blogs please let me know if you are having difficulty accessing your account. I'll keep this request for help up for a day or so. When I try to access the "help" on sitemeter, there is nothing I can find that helps me. I have changed none of the code that is in my template. I have had sitemeter since August 2006 and have had no problems with it. In fact, I have been pleased with it. I am all paid up so that is not the issue. I have been unable to access my account for nearly a day now. When I login, I get nothing but when I log out, I am told that the log out was successful. Today, for a second, I saw my summary page. Sitemeter had added advertising to the summary page which had not been there before. When I tried to access another page of stats, I was kicked back to the login page. I'm just trying to find out if anyone else is having problems accessing their accounts. Also, for those who visit my blog and use other "hit" counters, will you please recommend others that have been successful for you? I have sent several e-mails detailing the problem and have not received a response. This lack of response is not normal since responses to e-mails to sitemeter have always been rapid and helpful. Maybe everyone has gone on vacation. Who knows? So, if you are having difficulty, please let me know. Maybe adding the advertising to our sitemeter pages is causing the problem. Thanks.

Islam and Dhimmitude by Bat Ye'or

Yes, next on my reading list is Islam and Dhimmitude by Bat Ye'or. I have come late to the gathering of average folks who are just now venturing into the world of what dhimmitude is all about; not awakening to the threat of Islamic Imperialism but beginning to read more of the nature of that threat. The concept of a third tsunami of the centuries' old war between Christianity and Islam is not new to me. I have been telling friends who would listen - most don't want to know and, frankly don't care - that the Islamification of Europe is the latest surge of Islam in its drive to bring what has been called Christendom (the part of the world in which Christianity prevails) under the yoke of Sharia Law. What is new to me is to learn that one Muslim organization has just celebrated its 43 years as an active organization on behalf of Muslims in the United States. What is further news to me is why Muslims should need groups like CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) that ostensibly "work" for Muslim rights. Are those rights somehow different than the rights of other American folks like you and me? Do groups such as CAIR work to bring about "special" rights for Muslims so that Orwell's Animal Farm is far more advanced than we would want even to know. You know the theme: some animals are more equal than other animals, just transposed upon people. I have just begun Bat Ye'or's book. When I complete that one, I have Eurabia to read. I invite you - who are knew to the study of Islamic Imperialism's relentless march toward world domination - to join me.

Wren Cross under lock and key - Western Civilization debased

Non-Christians need have fear no more, the Wren Cross is safely under lock and key. This is America; God help us if the Islamists get us; oh, but no worries then mate, our own academic tyrants will have done what even the Supreme Court oligarchs in the 1960s were not able to do. There is a video you should see and it will show you the void created in the Wren Chapel as the Wren Cross was removed and stowed away under LOCK and KEY. What infamy? What disgrace? At Kerfuffles you will find Christ's Cross Banned in Virginia and there you will find a link to the video of the Wren Cross being removed from the altar of the Wren Chapel and removed to a safe place under lock and key so that the Wren Cross will be a symbol of offense no more. All secularists are safe. One cross down; several hundreds of thousands to go but that won't take long now that the precedent has been set. I have written five posts on the issue of Saving the Wren Cross. But it was not until just now when I watched the video of the cross's removal and its placement under lock and key that the full assault upon our nation and its values, its heritage and its founding came full-force and hit me. What Europeans must be enduring seeing their churches and cemeteries defiled! What outrages are being carried out against people of the Christian faith! The full brunt of the assault is staggering. The emptiness of it all. But I am reminded that God is in charge. It will be interesting to watch how the careers and lives of those who perpetrated this sacrilege unfold. And what is a "sacrilege", one who steals sacred things; violation of something consecrated to God; gross irreverence toward a hallowed person, place, or thing. Yes, whatever your belief, this action shouts irreverence toward us all.

Wren Cross in Closet - Attack on Christianity

My post will be brief today. I want to share with you a comment that came to me from a gentleman in England, I believe. As you know, I have written several posts about the desecration of the Wren Chapel at The College of William and Mary - a Christian Chapel. A visitor to this site reminded me of the far greater issue that is at stake. I give you his words:
This thing is far more sinister than 'not offending'. There is the heritage aspect - yes and the man has a gall to even think of removing a heritage icon. That said, this man clearly embodies the dualistic moral relativism which permeates the intitutions of higher learning and it's not wishy-washyness in the least - it's a concerted, quiet, cynical attack on Christianity. I'm no Theocon, as the Baron puts it, but this thing with Wren is quite clearly a theological attack. There's no doubt about it. And he's not going to get away with it.
You may read more at Nourishing Obscurity. See my two previous posts for more links. Thank you for your help in saving the Wren Cross and restoring it to its moral and spiritual place. As Mr. Higham at Nourishing Obscurity points out, the issue is larger than it first appears to be. It is not local, not regional; it is international in its significance and it is an attack on Christianity. This is how the diluting progresses, first one small bronze cross...then one small brass cross, and then....all done in the "name" of fairness and equality - there are other places at The College of William and Mary where students of other faiths can hold their "services". The point is to destroy anyplace that you may hold sacred, especially a small, unassuming place nearly as old as our heritage in a building designed by Christopher Wren. But then, when will the young women on the campus be asked to remove the small crosses around their necks because the sight of these "may" offend someone... See this attack for what it is and keep up your good work. You are not only saving the Wren Cross. In time, you may be saving much more. This dhimmitude and bowing to the Altar of Secularism must be ended. Go to Save the Wren Chapel Cross. If you can't leave a note because they may be geared for college students and Virginia residents, please send snail mail and/or send an e-mail to info@savethewrencross.org which is found at the site.

Save the Wren Chapel - Fight Dhimmitude

Save the Wren Chapel - I have just be in contact with an individual working to save the Wren Chapel at The College of William and Mary in this lastest and most egregious assault upon our history, our heritage, and our culture by one in leadership within one of our most revered universities. This president, Gene Nichol, and other college/university presidents like him are entrusted with the preservation of integrity in our heritage as a nation, not subverting it. See Save the Wren Chapel - a must read for the historical background of the Wren Chapel. See Putting Christ in the closet at the Gates of Vienna. If you want more info do a search on Wren Cross on Google. This is an issue worth fighting for. Only citizens can stop this egregious assault. To think an attack of this sort would be led by a president of The College of William and Mary, an institution that Thomas Jefferson graduated from, one of the three most important things he wanted to be remembered for: Graduating from The College of William and Mary Writing the Declaration of Independence Founding the Unveristy of Virginia Shame upon the President of The College of William and Mary. As a Virginian, as a graduate from The College of William and Mary, I am ashamed of the president's roll-over to dhimmitude on the altar of political correctness. Shame on him. I don't care if he is a "weak sister" taking orders from someone else or just a revisionist, the Alumni need to use their force of power to get rid of him and to restore the Wren Cross to its proper place. Also consider, with the removal of the Wren Cross to a closet, the Wren Chapel no longer has its historical place as a chapel, it is now relegated to a meditation room, or worse. Yeah, this has me a bit over the edge but if this won't make you understand the threat, then nothing will. In addition to all of the other insults and attacks, Nichol has also slapped the parishoners of the esteemed Bruton Parish Church in the face. As you recall, this is the church within the bounds of Colonial Williamsburg in which you may sit in the family box pews of such men as Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Patrick Henry, Peyton Randolph, and more. Please see these other important posts: More on Wren Chapel Cross College president stands by removal of chapel cross Cross removed from 307 year old chapel And go to the following web site if you wish to add your voice. You don't have to have graduated from The College of William and Mary or to be a resident of Virginia to make your voice heard against this assault upon the very freedoms upon which we were founded: Save the Wren Chapel Cross There are times to sit and watch; there are times to close you checkbooks and keep your alumni dollars in your own closet; there are times for action. Now is the time and this is a call to action. Enough is enough!

William and Mary Alumni - Save the Wren Cross

I am a graduate of The College of William and Mary. As an alumni, I am calling upon you to withhold any and all financial support to the College of William and Mary until the Wren Cross is returnded to its place of honor in the Wren Chapel. An article in the Washington Times today, College president stands by removal of chapel cross states that, "On Thursay, Mr. Nichol told the school's Board of Visitors that displaying the cross in the historic building excluded students of other religions." What a crock of PC servitude! The removal of the Wren Cross, at the whim, excuse me - tyrannical power - of the President, Gene Nichol, is purely and simply a form of dhimmitude to the Altar of Multiculturalism. The removal of the Wren Cross because it might "offend" someone is pure insult to our College and the heritage of this great nation. The Wren Chapel is a chapel, a church. Would you expect Buddhists to remove a statue of the Buddha because it "might" offend someone? Of course not. One of any belief can find solice and spiritual comfort in the Wren Chapel; just as a Christian can find comfort in a Shinto Temple in Japan. The Wren Cross, an offense - hardly; it's arbitrary removal is the offense. Does the Wren Cross shout out "convert all ye who enter here?" No, it is a mark of quiet; it is a gift; it is in a chapel. The Wren Cross is not a symbol of offense; it is a simple, unadorned cross symbolizing unity, love, faith, and solemnity. If the students at The College of William and Mary are that "sensitive" and so easily "offended" in a house of worship, then the College has surely slipped far from its high standards of yesterday. Such a pity; so embarrassing. President Nichol's act is a shameful display of what is wrong in a nation chained under the scourge of censorship; in a nation begging for the cloak of dhimmitude. Perhaps the alumni should work to have Mr. Nichol removed. See Cross removed from 307 year old chapel See also Save the Wren Chapel Cross for information on how to write the President of The College of William and Mary. Also, how to contact the students. And I'm sure you could find out how to contact the Board of Visitors. See Save the Wren Chapel - a must read for the historical background of the Wren Chapel. This is one we need to fight - it is dhimmitude, the subjugation of your heritage and if the Wren Chapel can essentially be "desecrated" by the removal of the Wren Cross, then what's to stop this happening all over the nation?
