S. 1639 - Americans rise up and shout NO!

Through the continuing implementation of NAFTA, the SPP super highway, and the enactment of the amnesty bill - S. 1639 - hyphenated, multicultural America may soon join the EU form of reduction to the will of the UN and the light from the United States, that once "shining city on a hill", that bastion of "freedoms" may well be extinguished - for good. Today, the Senate of the United States of America will vote on the fate of the nation. Yes, the House of Representatives will have to look at the bill (S. 1639) in closed conference to work the bugs out but that may only be a perfunctory exercise in this particular case. If the Senators pass this bill as early as Thursday, the champagne will flow and our defilement will be nearly complete. If I am wrong, I'll say so but I may not live long enough to see the destruction this bill will have wrought. When signed with great fan-fare and glee, the bill will go into effect on October 1, 2008. The deed will be done; no fence will be built; our borders will be no more secure; and the "pathway" to the fall of our nation's sovereignty will be assured. The North American Union will move inexorably to completion; your passport should be for naught in this hemisphere at least; our currency will change; our language will turn us from a cohesive nation into a "Tower of Babel", and our capitulation to the "new world order" of globalism will be complete or nearly so. The Senate and the President will have served us up to the rule of the United Nations. The doorways will be open for direct UN taxes upon our income, confiscation of our guns, and a shredding of whatever remains of our US Constitution to the rule of "international law" served cold by our victorious enemies. With rulings such as Kelo vs New London, Karl Marx is rewarded as principle one of 10 of the Communist Manifesto (1848) will have been put firmly into place: "1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes." Radioactive Chief has a quotation in his header which is fitting: "A nation can survive fools, or even the ambitious but it cannot survive traitors within." - Marcus Tullius Cicero Many bloggers are quoting Theodore Roosevelt 1907 and Teddy "speak softly and carry a big stick" Roosevelt even made it into Garner's cartoon in the Washington Times (6-25-2007), again fitting for today and everyday when we look to the foundation upon which our policy and attitude of what is means to be a citizen should stand:

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. The back room deals will have been made. The American people will have been spurned; put in their place at the "back of the bus"; and shown by the President, the Senators who vote to pass this bill, "You are nothing to us. We spit on you." God bless the United States of America! God bless her military! Over the passage of time, one may look back and marvel of what had brought down a once grand nation, the hope of the world; marvel at the "monarchy" our government has become, a pasha obeisance to the UN; marvel that we became, at the turn of the 21st century, the very tyranny we had left behind on July 4, 1776. We have one hope: the American people. Americans of all ethnicities created this nation and only Americans, banning together, can make us whole again. Americans can take us out of the cloying hands of the UN. Do Americans have the will? Do Americans now see once and for all, the corruption of our "traitors" within? Will Americans take these "traitors" to task? The jury is still out and some of our elected folks seem to forget that we, the people, are the jury...
