Is it time to prepare impeachment drafts yet?
Is it time to prepare impeachment drafts yet or just get about keeping good, detailed notes? Talk about strong-arm tactics! Sure glad Obama's not a Republican; the news media would be apoplectic or frothing all over the teleprompters. Messy! With the firing of a private-sector employee, CEO Rick Waggoner of GM, it may be time for several forward-thinking young Constitutional lawyers to begin drawing up the initial Articles of Impeachment to be brought against Obama. Obama's behavior is the type of behavior expected in Robert Mugabe's Zimbabwe but not in the United States of America where we have a U.S. Constitution which gives the Federal government enumerated powers - 4 I believe - few of which are being handled, one being defending the nation from invasion. We can see how that's working for us. The U.S. Constitution does not give the Chief Executive of the federal government the authorization to fire civilian employees of private corporations. Does it? Isn't Obama breaking any laws at all or is this just the standard fair for Democrat presidents following in the shoes of FDR, LBJ, and Jimmy Carter's malaise? Converted into Obamalaise. Are there no laws these men can break? Are they above the laws of the land? Can they intrude into any and all private businesses within America - that's what Geithner is asker the power to do - and order the businesses around as they, the politicians like? Seems that way. The power grab with the big 3 automobile manufacturers is for one reason only: to FORCE these car manufacturers to build cars we don't want and then to force us to buy cars we don't want. Why? To make money for the Al Gores of the world and to cripple our economy. Despicable... I know "impeachment" goes no where with fellow Democrat corrupt lobbyists hiding out in the Senate and the House as Senators and Representatives but someone should be drawing up the papers anyway just to keep notes to be thorough should the time come. And while you're at it, draw up a bill that will not allow a Senator or Representative to sit on a committee that gives contracts or salary increases to his or her spouse. Senator Di Fi from San Fran and former Senator Obama from Ill. come to mind. I know there are others. Talk about conflicts of interest. And talk about increasing your own financial worth when you can funnel tens of thousands of dollars in contracts to hubby's companies that work with the Chi-Coms. What gravy!

I still don't understand why Waggoner stepped down. Just because the President told him to step down doesn't mean O'Bummer had the authority to do so.
This is scary stuff.
Waggoner was fired by Obama. Waggoner was not asked to step down; he was "fired". That is the scary stuff coupled with Tiny Tim's request over at Treasury to have the authority to move on any business in America that he wants to.
Americans really need to be reading about Russia from 1825 up to and through 1950s.
I am thoroughly worried now; Obama firing a CEO in the private sector??? Where, please someone tell me where in the Constitution does the President have this power? Oh wake up Americans!!! Unfortunately you are right about the education issue, we have become dumb, minds numbed by the lack of education, no one reads anymore they just play video games and on and on. We are in deep trouble.
Snowwhite - that was my call sign once upon a time. Love the name. Yes, we have reasons for concern. I still have faith in the American people even when I sound down. Still there...
