Iraq and the Camel Spiders our soldiers have as "pets"
For an absolutely great blog and a great service to us here at home, please read Iraq 101 brought to us by Coconut Commando - striving to stay alive, keep his men alive, and keeping us informed through Iraq 101. The favorite seems to be the Camel Spider, featured on pages 40 and 41. These fearless spiders keep the roaches away. When you look at the picture, remember that Camel Spider is being held by a soldier in camouflage uniform. Iraq 101 is worth the time and effort you put into reading it. Commando has broken it down into segments so that you don't have to read it all at once and you can find the part that interests you most. Good reading! Don't worry about those Camel Spiders! All they want is shade.

Beach Girl - I peeked at the Iraq 101 article posted by the Coconut Commando and agree with you: it's good reading.
Yes, glad you liked it. I have adopted a soldier in Iraq through Soldiers Angels. I send him things monthly and letters weekly. Coconut Commando is great!
He sent me a whole list of things my soldier would like and also a site so that I could get satellite photos of my soldier's base. I found the picture of the Camel Spider especially "interesting"! Yikes!
