Catholic Priest calling for "snuffing out" gun store owner?
Say it isn't so, Joe! From David at War on Guns: ~~~~ By now, you've probably heard of the recording of "moral authority" "Father" Michael Pfleger calling for John "R-i-g-g-i-o", the owner of a Chuck's Gun Shop (along with "legislators" who don't support citizen disarmament) to be "snuffed out." ~~~~ If the Archbishop in LA isn't giving sanctuary to illegal aliens from Mexico, a priest, Father Michael Pfleger, is busy using his 501(c)(3) to call for "snuffing out" a local gun dealer. Find the post with plenty of links at War on Guns, Snuff out Mike Pfleger. And if the post makes you angry enough, one of the commenters gave a good link to the esteemed Father's Archbishop: His Eminence, Cardinal Francis Eugene George, Archbishop of the Diocese of Chicago -- who's office can be contacted here: http://www.archchicago.org/contact.shtm I feel more and more that we are really living in tenuous times.

This is what happens when Catholics gain too much power.
I say send him to Ulster.
Yes, good place for him. Won't happen, of course.
Whilst nominally Catholic, I am concerned that the Catholic Church has lost most of its moral authority through its pursuit of immoral goals.
Two spring to mind:
. the harbouring of many pedophiles within the priesthood for many years;
. the championing of many leftist social policies.
What you are describing in this post about this Mike Pfleger is sadly unsurprising.
Thank you for stopping by, Strider. Yes, sadly unsurprising.
