A Touch of Humor in Old Mexico
On the humor front - Vicente Fox couldn't give his speech last night Opposition seizes Mexico's Congress. Shame too because we all know how "Mr. Fox, a former Coca-Cola executive ...ushered in economic stability..." Fox sent and is still sending his poor to us so that US can pay the freight associated with the costs of social services. That is one way to stabilize your economy. Write off your expenses by deporting them to another nation. On the noisy revolutionary-threat front in Mexico to overturn the recent elections, I don't see how that could happen for Mr. Lopez Obrador because most Mexicans are now living in the United States. Mr. Obrador may have his grievances but Mexico has peaceful ways to deal with those grievances besides demonstrations and shutting down business as was accomplished by many illegal aliens in the US protesting for "equal rights" recently in some cities, forgetting they broke the law to even be here. Still I wonder, have we yet to see a mass exodus back to Mexico to the fight the political revolution and put Obrador in office? As whacky as the world seems today, anything is possible.

Here is a question for you:
Whose side is Bush on?
Papa Ray
Papa Ray, you are a naughty boy. Fox did all he could to get as many illegals here as possible but his time is done. So, I'd say he's on the side that will bring the most unrest and therefore the more illegals heading north. Maybe we'll just annex Mexico. I've thought of this years ago. Then we'd have their oil fields.
Mexico is an incorrigibly racist country, and the elites do what they can to send what the Metzos (I think that's the term for those of mixed Spanish-native blood) packing. We will not see an immigration to Mexico until the culture changes. NAFTA didn't slow down immigration, now did it? How about all those guest-worker programs? Nope. So it's time to try something that works -- zero immigration, legal or illegal, from Mexico. Why mess around with other tactics when all they've done is fail?
Russet, our government doesn't have the will to fulfill their obligations under the Constitution. We need men with guts and courage - where are they? I hate the feminists' decades long effort to castrate this nation. But that's just me.
