Liberal appeasement didn't work for Chamberlain; won't work for Olmert!
The following comments are from a recent post regarding The Temple Mount and appeasement. This is the fact and it is indisputable: those who do not study and learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Problem is, I don't care if they repeat it for themselves; I just don't want the rest of us to have to pay the price for Liberal or Bush White House appeasement for that matter. Secretary Rice is getting "guidance" on foreign diplomacy from Jimmy "I wish I had more canals to give to the Chinese" Carter; from Madeline "my large hats are cutting off the oxygen to my brain" Albright; and from Bill "I never met an aspirin factory I wouldn't blow up" Clinton. Hmm... Better to get the advice from a coalition of nations than the recent exemplars of failed diplomacy. And as for Henry's advice, I say "No more shuttles, Sister!" Recent comments you might find heartening: ligneus said... It seems so simple and so self evident doesn't it? Which is why all those clever dicks on the left discount it, they are way too smart for something as simple as that. I bet if you asked them they'd even tell you that water isn't really wet or that joyfully sawing off people's heads isn't really barbaric, it's a cultural thing. Rich said... The liberal view of Olmert should serve as a lesson to America. Liberal appeasement is a recipe for disaster against an enemy like Islam. They laugh and spit in our face as we stumble over ourselves to accommodate their "religion of peace". Pathetic and disturbing to the point of anger... For a migraine headache on Middle East "peace talks", just scan the associated "news" articles found here. Stay home, Condi. Let Israel do what needs to be done and be done with it. Or better yet, read about Haggar and her son in the Old Testament. Is that all one needs to know about the "religion of peace" as practiced by Islamic Fundamentalists...
