Diana West: speaking out for our freedoms

Using terrorism, the threat of terrorist attacks, and our own legal system, Islamists are attacking our very freedoms by trying to shut us up and intimidate us into "censoring" ourselves. At this point, I interrupt this column to apologize to all leftists settling in for a juicy tirade against the Patriot Act, wiretaps for terrorists or the sufferings of sensitive poets in residence at Guantanamo Bay. It is not the Bush administration's efforts to protect us from "terror" (more maturely known as jihad) that compromise our freedoms, but jihad itself. And the basic freedom to discuss, analyze, debate, imagine and resist jihad is now under unprecedented assault. Consider the following events...Let me add also that "hate-speech" laws are designed to intimidate and crush our Freedom of Speech. We must fight these laws every step of the way. Remember, this is a jihad, a "holy war", against Christianity and the Western World, Islam's ruthless global war against Christianity. You can call the war whatever you like but make no mistake, this so-called "war on terror" is the result of a full-frontal Islamic attack against Christianity.

It is critically important that we say clearly that Islam is making war on Christianity and the West as you have done. The Left is going to great lengths to prevent these things from even being said; that is what "hate-speech" laws are all about. When they make it impossible to even speak the truth, they make it much, much more difficult to resist the domination they seek to force upon us. The Left is very blind, because Islam will not be kind to them after Islam is in power, if that comes to pass. But for now, the Left is foolishly pushing the Islamic agenda, and their is no concept of integrity in Islam that would call for it to disassociate itself from the Left. (You cannot really properly use the words "integrity" and "Islam" in the same sentence; it is a total fabric of lies.)

From the Qur'an, perhaps. Yes, the gold-trimmed one translated by Abdullah Yusuf Ali and approved for "English" speakers...the one I have here at my finger-tips. I'll waste my time learning Arabic when I have to and not one day before. Right now, to converse in my native homeland, I have to start learning gutteral Spanish. Cheers and a Belated Happy Easter which I understands occurs a few days following the birth of Mohammed who was supposedly born the day before the crucifixion of Christ. Interesting how these things co-incide...
Perhaps you could help me find the "Godlen Rule" in the Qur'an - loving thy neighbor as thyself; do unto others as you would have them do unto you - stuff like that. Thanks.
The practitioners of Islam have proved and prove every day that since Mohammed took up the sword to rape, pillage, and plunder and to "convert by the sword" there has been warring wherever Islam goes. Our current "crisis" is a crusade by Islamists against Christians and one more ebb and flow in that tidal wave of Islam against Christianity.
Christians are not, I repeat, NOT, colonizing the Middle East - who would want to? But Islam is colonizing and taking over the world one legal or illegal immigrant at a time. Good for the EU, et al. They are the handmaidens of Mohammed doing the work the jihadists cannot accomplish and the anti-Western "tribes with flags" cannot do overtly as they cannot declare an honest war so they have to wage subterfuge. Must be uplifting to have such brave leaders. Worry not, we may soon have a sympathizer who will further grease the skids for Sharia law in the West through the corrupt UN and the United States not to mention the EU, the Med. U - sounds like universities...
Have a good day! Here you can practice your religion (political ideology) in peace; if you are successful, tomorror, I will not be able to practice my true religion at all unless I pay tax on that practice and, as in the Middle East, wear identification that I am non-Muslim.
We are not used to "honor" killings here of our daughters or stoning them in the street if they have been raped - maybe we'd better get used to it, after all, it's just a "religious" practice. Cheers...
