Red States, Blue States; Red Nations, Blue Nations
Upon occasion, I have mentioned an exercise that I'd like you to help me with. This time tomorrow night, the elections in the United States will be over. The results are not likely to be in across the board. The exercise is to take a map of the world. Highlight the Red Nations - the ones who truly stand with America. Highlight the dictatorships. Highlight whose hanging by a thread. In the United States we have the Blue States and the Red States. The Red States are traditionally family values, volunteers into the military, tend toward religious values, hard workers, many are middle class. In the Blue States, if you really look, we have many heavily Blue State constituencies in inner-city poverty. We have the socialist, gimme your money, leanings; tribalism - Sudan perhaps is one example in the news often these days. What I'd ask you to help me with is the identification of the Blue Nations, the non-individual rights/responsibilities nations that are dictatorships, totalitarianist nations. The Red Nations - the freedoms nations. Of the 192 nations in the UN, how many are Islamic Republics or controlled by Muslims? How many are divided? Which nations are on the brink of becoming Islamic Republics? How about South America? Will its nations all be Blue nations? Here I do not know or have any idea - are there nations that are not in the UN? Mark Steyn titled his book, America Alone. Who does stand with America? Australia? Japan? Italy? Denmark? New Zealand? India? Stay safe. I have a larger question for you after we complete this one. Thank you.

As you know my friend I stay with America.
God Bless USA!
So good to hear from you, Robinik. I now leave for the election voting places to put up signs for Senator Allen and for Representative Thelma Drake. I volunteer for the outside of the polls today. It is uplifting to see citizens vote. Today may be a nail-biting very long day. Some say the results won't be known in some areas for a very long time.
Thank you for being so kind and thoughtful on this day from only as far away as our heart beats.
God bless you and thank you!
"Who does stand with America?"
I don't think that it's possible to answer the question in terms of countries. Right now, here in New Zealand I'd have to say "not N.Z." because opf the politics of the place. Yet very many ordinary New Zealanders certainly do stand with the U.S.
My own country, Australia is solidly behind America yet a change of government would certainly see that change as well. Yet most Aussies regard themselves as firm friends.
Freedom is a state of mind as well as a physical thing. Millions of us are American in spirit, just living elsewhere. The sight of an American ship in our ports, that blessed flag waving in the breeze brings a grin and a lift in spirits for very many of us.
God bless her.
Crusader Rabbit - I'm a little "battle" weary but right now I'm not sure that America under the Dems stands with the West. We'll see. Should be a tough 2 years. We'll see what the Stock Market does today. A lot of profit-taking would be a bad thing.
