Europe unveiled?

Did I read it right? Are Western European men growing their "balls" back? Lord, I sure hope so; the sooner the better. Paris: When France first debated a ban on Muslim kerchiefs in state schools, criticism from abroad was so strong that Dominique de Villepin, foreign minister at the time, complained it created diplomatic problems for him. After three years, a slaying and two bombing sprees, many of France's neighbors have come to agree they should set tougher integration standards for Muslim minorities. The standards vary from country to country, but the recent debate about whether face veils hinder Muslim women's integration in Britian was music to Mr. Villepin's ears. "I'm glad to see they're now asking themselves the questions we've been asking ourselves for quite a long time," Mr. Villepin, now prime minister, recently said. The British debate, focused partly on a school's suspension of a teaching assistant for refusing to remove her full facial veil, seems tame compared with steps taken elsewhere in Europe in the past two years. The Netherlands, where the 2004 killing of filmmaker Theo van Gogh by an Islamic radical triggered a much tougher stance, now makes potential immigrants take language and cultural tests that include watching a video of gay men kissing and topless women. Starting in January, immigrants already in the Netherlands will have to take similar language and culture tests and risk fines or loss of their residence permits if they fail. Germany where eight of the sixteen states bar kerchiefs for teachers, has warned its Muslims they have to accept sexual equality, cartoons lampooning Islam and other criticism they may find insulting. "It will be a rocky road, for the Muslims and the state," Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said. Italy is drawing up a charter of Italian values that applicants for citizenship must sign. The killing of Mr. van Gogh by an apparently integrated Dutch citizen of Moroccan origin was the tipping point in Europe, said Dalil Boubakeur, chief of France's Muslim Council. "Then came the bombings in Madrid and London," he said, referring to attacks in 2004 and 2005. "Europeans were stunned to see even people who seemed to be quite integrated could do this." France, whose Muslim minority of 5 million is the largest in Europe, has taken the lead in raising integration stakes, especially in demanding respect for strict secularism. "All these moves being made in France are based on the abstract concept of being a French citizen," said Farish Noor, a Malaysian political scientist at Berlin's Center for Modern Oriental Studies. Other Europeans lack such a clear guiding principle, he said: "There is no offer of becoming full-fledged German citizens." The German government was firm when it met 15 Muslim leaders in September at a conference on Islam to bring a dialogue about integration with groups claiming to speak for the country's 3.2 million Muslims. "Islam is part of us now," Mr. Schaeuble said afterward. "That means Muslims must adapt and not just pay lip service to doing so. They must put up with cartoons, gender equality, possibly insulting criticism - all this is part of our open society." Demark outraged conservative Muslims last year when it refused to punish a newspaper for printing caricatures of the prophet Muhammad, insisting that the right of free speech takes precedence over religious sensitivities. Although it has cracked down on immigration since 2002, Copenhagen has let local governments and schools decide on Muslim kerchiefs. In the Netherlands, politicians have suggested banning the head-to-toe burqa and even requiring immigrants to speak Dutch in public. But a government study about banning facial veils has been delayed repeatedly. A popular nationalist party in Spain's Catalonia region says immigrants should have to prove they are integrating to be eligible for social services and housing. Even Muslim leaders who promote integration doubt it can be expedited. "Integration takes time; it is not a process that can be managed by laws," said Ayhan Tonca, chairman of Dutch Muslim organizations. "A soft pressure to assimilate emerges everywhere," said Omar al-Rawi, integration officer for the Austrian Islamic Community. "What is important is that demands are not accompained by pressure or the threat of sanctions." [all highlighting added]

If the information is true, then maybe, just maybe, Western European men are coming to understand that multiculturalism spells death to them and to their culture. I tend to be slightly optimistic in a world turned upside down. [If anyone would kindly provide the link, thank you.] The general problem is that by attrition alone, Europe will become Muslim. Laws and regulations can always be changed. It is a matter of numbers, votes, and influence. What is a "strict" requirement today can be wiped off the books and replaced by Sharia Law, seemingly overnight. Better to end your immigration and consider re-introducing your borders before it is too late. From what I read Islam is not going to be "reformed" and the so-called moderates fear, or say that they fear the "radical fundamentalists" - so what is left? Be brave and respect the Western Civilization and culture. Our Western Civilization is worth fighting for, in the courts and on the ground. You, the Western men who are the leaders and who care, must draw the line and eliminate your open-borders, reduce your immigrant flood. I watched portions of Obsession last night. How can you aid and abet violent and vile men saying in no uncertain terms that the Muslim flag will fly over England. If you believe them and take them at their word, act upon that and rid your nations of people who want to kill you, of people who spit on your freedoms and intend to dominate you and rid the world of your civilization. Freedom of speech is admirable. Speech insighting to riot and revolution and death to you and yours is treason and that is punishable by law. So, get to it. If a man comes into your home and says, I'm going to rape your wife, enslave your children, and kill you - do you say, "Okay, would you like tea before you get started. How about some money to set up a home for yourself and your wives, children, etc.? We believe in diversity here so go ahead and do what you want. Oh, the sharp knives are in that wooden block there." The folks you are letting into your nations are not interested in "cultural diversity"; they are not interested in "multiculturalism"; they want to kill you or put you into perpetual servitude. They will kill you through your fantasy of "multiculturalism" - all cultures are equal. Soon you may learn that all civilizations are not considered equal by Islam; most especially yours as viewed by people who are taught from birth that they are elevated above all others simply by birth into Islam. Be careful, people of Europe. I assure you, if your leaders will develop backbones on the issue of national sovereignty, your counterparts in the United States will find theirs as well. This time, we are looking to you. Save yourselves and Western Civilization, save us, while you can.
