Bush, the president of US, or more concerned about Islamists and Illegals?
When one reads statements from the presentation President Bush made to the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamist front groups recently, coupled with his "capital" burning drive to legalize and reward 12 - 20 million illegal aliens (no telling how many are terrorists), a natural question follows: Is President Bush the president of US, defending our US Constitution and the American people, our way of life, our laws and our culture, or has he morphed into a self-stylized ombudsman for Islamists and Illegals? Both groups in their own way desirous of destroying our American culture, converting our laws to Sharia Law, and essentially carving the US up into balkanized states? Personally, I believe the latter due to the effect of "unintended" consequences. I call this balkanization, Apartheid in 21st Century America, and I don't think I'm far off in this assessment. Although I voted for President Bush twice and I am a staunch conservative, I feel he has betrayed our conservative principles in the areas of "appeasement" to radical Islamist factions flourishing in our democratic republic; he has betrayed our sovereignty through the North American Union pact with Mexico and Canada; and he has betrayed the fundamental responsibility of the Executive in failing to defend our borders and deport illegal aliens - many of whom are "visa" overstays and/or are criminal felons that our tax dollars pay to feed and clothe in prisons. He spoke before a group of anti-American Muslims at the Islamic Center in DC. The folks he addressed support The Muslim Brotherhood Project. For further reading please see "Stop the Project" linked in my sidebar. We must be informed and realize the project is well into implementation. Our very laws for equality and fairness are being used against us to raise Islam to a place of dominance within our nation. The following links and comments are from Larwyn's e-mail and deserve a good read: ~~~~~~~~~~ We know that these are not CHENEY IDEAS - SO LET'S GET BEHIND IMPEACHING BUSH - LET CHENEY GET US BACK ON TRACK FIRE CONDI - PUT IN BOLTON! Prof Rubin wants him to be "special envoy" to the Organization of Islamic Countries, but SOS would be best of all. IMPEACH BUSH! "I have invested the heart of my presidency in helping Muslims fight terrorism, and claim their liberty, and find their own unique paths to prosperity and peace." This is a sentence that deserves to be read several times. The "heart of my presidency" — a very revealing phrase indeed. One must question whether the "heart" of any American presidency should be about people who are overwhelmingly not Americans, who live mostly very far away, and whose societies have so little in common with the Judeo-Christian-Enlightenment traditions passed down to us principally from England. We find the statement disturbing in its grandiosity. From Dinocrat, a revealing statement by President Bush: An Important Statement July 5th, 2007 President Bush made this important statement at the re-dedication of the Washington DC Islamic Center last week, via Daniel Pipes Bush statement : "I have invested the heart of my presidency in helping Muslims fight terrorism, and claim their liberty, and find their own unique paths to prosperity and peace." This is a sentence that deserves to be read several times. In electing George Bush, Americans did not elect a Pope, or Martin Luther, or the new rector of Al Azhar University, or president of the world. That sentence, in defining the presidency of George Bush in such a sweeping set of goals, calls to mind the words of Bush's second inaugural address, and Peggy Noonan's commentary on them: The inaugural address itself was startling. It left me with a bad feeling… "We are led, by events and common sense, to one conclusion: The survival of liberty in our land increasingly depends on the success of liberty in other lands." "Across the generations we have proclaimed the imperative of self government…Now it is the urgent requirement of our nation's security, and the calling of our time." "It is the policy of the United States to seek and support the growth of democratic movements and institutions in every nation and culture, with the ultimate goal of ending tyranny in the world." Ending tyranny in the world? Well that's an ambition, and if you're going to have an ambition it might as well be a big one. But this declaration, which is not wrong by any means, seemed to me to land somewhere between dreamy and disturbing. Tyranny is a very bad thing and quite wicked, but one doesn't expect we're going to eradicate it any time soon… "Renewed in our strength — tested, but not weary — we are ready for the greatest achievements in the history of freedom." This is — how else to put it? — over the top. It is the kind of sentence that makes you wonder if this White House did not, in the preparation period, have a case of what I have called in the past "mission inebriation." A sense that there are few legitimate boundaries to the desires born in the goodness of their good hearts… From Vladimir Putin's soul to the Harriet Miers nomination to the Senate immigration bill, we note a number of instances where the President's estimation of good intentions has appeared to trump reality, competence, or practicality. President Bush's statement about what lies at the "heart" of his presidency — goals that may not be practical or indeed appropriate for an American presidency — seems disturbingly consistent with these other cases of good intentions trumping more vital concerns. Posted in War, Religion, Republicans | 2 Comments Denial most likely won't last forever July 5th, 2007 England is in a heap of trouble, with the doctors of death, whose atrocities were pretty broadly known in advance, the cyber-jihadists, rather feckless police, and so forth. Melanie Phillips is worried that the ignorant, shocked populace, fed by the supine media, and ever more craven policies of appeasement by the new government, add up to: "This is the way we lose that war." That's possible of course, but since the aggressors will not stop, and indeed are bolder than ever, we'd wager that it is just a matter of time now before denial stops working. Topics: GWOT, Britain Posted by Jules Crittenden at 9:52 am Doctor Evil on Thursday, July 5, 2007 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It is sad that our president seems transfixed upon "spreading" democracy around the world when the Islamists he treats as honored guests are as busy as camel spiders working to weave a web to tie us in knots and institute Islamic Law. But how long can the "rose-colored" glasses of denial keep us from seeing the truth. It is like viewing the world today as though watching a British film with that slightly blurred - reality denying - haze. For two excellent videos of men who know the truth and laugh in the face of the "I'm a Muslim, I must be a victim" pathology, see Cal Thomas and Tony Blair. Do you ever feel like Henny Penny? And everyone around you turns a deaf ear to your pleas... Well, this Henny Penny is taking an afternoon break to spend a few dollars and help the economy. Denial, now there's a concept for escape. How'd that work for Britain the last time appeasement was tried? Hmmm... God bless the United States of America! I know we shall prevail; I just would prefer the cost be less than it may be shaping up to be. As Melanie Phillips quotes in Londonistan, I paraphrase, will the streets have to run red with blood before the Queen rises to defend Her people... And how can terrorist groups flourish in England that would be ruthlessly crushed in a Middle Eastern nation? America, are you listening?
