From Virginia Beach to the Eastern Shore
I promise you an up-lifting post of the trip I took yesterday, April 9, 2007, across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel up the Eastern Shore of Virginia. It is dangerous driving there even for we locals so drive the speed limit and watch for traffic turning onto Rout 13. FYI - Rout 13 is a "hell-bent-for-leather" highway, crowded and fast-paced. It is a four-lane highway with no dividers for a long distance and it is bound by railroad tracks on one side and homes and businesses hugging the side of the road for dear life. This post will be renamed and I hope up-lifting to you. The day was glorious for me. I want to share it with you and provide you a bit of the charm of the area devoid of the dangers on Route 13. Will have the post for you soon....
