The 2006 Weblog Awards

Today, I'm still reading The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. Can't put it down until I've read every page. House is a mess; laundry needs doing; work needs doing; but too bad. It'll still be there when I finish the book. Ever had those days when you just avoided most everything in your life that has importance in order to finish a book? In the meantime, I accidentally found the following blog: 2006 Weblog Awards The blog has all kinds of categories: best blog, best conservative blog, best humor, etc. Nominations end November 24, 2006 with voting beginning the first of December. You can check the info at the blog. You can nominate yourself - which I naturally and shamelessly did, in three categories. Don't be shy! Have fun! Also, the blog is a great way to become introduced to more blogs with like-minded bloggers tippy-typing away bringing us news, cynicism, jokes, humor, and hilarious fun. Some blogs you won't like; some you'll love; and some will become your favorites. There are categories for just about everything you'd be interested in. But mostly, you'll find new blogs - new to me at least - that deserve our attention. Actually, you'll find some really fine kick butt blogs that are fun and have such a sense of optimism, they are great for that quality alone.
