HR 3997 - watch it pass and weep
I cannot understand why our President and the three previous presidents allowed and encouraged the invasion of our nation. To undermine the voting block of black Americans? To weaken our nation as a land of laws? Why did Congress force banks to loan mortgages to high risk folks and businesses with no chance of paying the loans back? And now these people in Congress have the balls to say they are "saving" the economy they have worked to destroy. And Nancy Pelosi and others - perhaps those who are angry we stopped the Dubai Ports deal and the Amnesty bill of 2006 - want to punish we, the people, because we had the audacity to stand up to the Potentates? My Lord, please protect us from these corrupt people. May these corrupt hypocrites be voted out of office and put in prison for their corruption. They do not deserve the power we have given them. There are "free market" ways to address the government-created "crisis". I say check the voting record and vote any and all Congressmen and Senators out of office who vote to put our children, our grandchildren, and our great grandchildren into slavery. And the chattering media are whipping us into a frenzy. Well, I say buy gold and coins at least with part of your financial assets. When the rubber meets the road, at least gold will still have worth...

So why are you saying this was forced by the government? A little explaining would certainly be interesting to hear! I have not heard a single finance official complain about the government during all those Bush years when current landing "technologies" had started - this includes a rather broad range of publications designed in fact for finance and business audiences. In fact Bush was quite honest to deliver on his promise to *free* large financial institutions from oh so many regulations and obligations. This is a point shared by both the industry and the government, analysts and all sorts of observes.
