Conservative Beach Girl is speech protected in accordance with the Constitution of the United States of America. "The Constitution is not a suicide pact" - Justice Robert H. Jackson, 1949. Our representative republic based on our U.S. Constitution has many wolves slashing at our heels and hearts. Enemies within and enemies without; we must take them at their word, even as they dissemble at every turn to advance their cause to destroy our way of life and end our freedoms.

From Crusader Rabbit, this is not a platform for leftist tripe.
actually after years of rubber stamping the Bush agenda what you should say is that:
ReplyDelete"after being part of the machine that created the problems Thelma Drake refused to do what was necessary to rescue 401 k and pension plans and helping people keep their jobs."
It's time for Thelma to go, go, go.
Say what you will but Thelma did not create the problems and Bush folks, at least early-on, tried to address them. Problems started in 1977 with Carter and were increased by Bill Clinton in 1997 - see Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 at wikipedia.
ReplyDeleteMouseherder - that must be like herding cats. Many Republicans lost their seats in 2006 because they rubber-stamped so much of Bush's policies but he is not running for re-election.
ReplyDeleteI have stood against a number of his policies over these last 8 years and have even written that I was sorry I had voted for him twice. I am against the North American Union, against the invasion by illegals but they will soon be granted citizenship, against the prescription bill, and most definitely against the Campaign Finance Reform Act as unconstitutional.
But this current government-bred and fed-crisis cannot be put at Thelma's feet.
Bush was the de facto "head" of the Republican Party and, from my point of view, he and his administration did a very poor job of leading. They certainly did a terrible job of communicating with the American people. So, you and I are in agreement there. But we do not need a Democrat as our representative for the 2nd District.
