Our representative republic based on our U.S. Constitution has many wolves slashing at our heels and hearts. Enemies within and enemies without; we must take them at their word, even as they dissemble at every turn to advance their cause to destroy our way of life and end our freedoms.

IQ Flap and some comments
Not posting today.
If you are interested, you may find some very good comments at the linked post, here. The comments to which I refer are from Anonymous and Hathor as well as Rich and Falcon_01.
I have enjoyed our conversation here and am still left with one over-riding truth - we are Americans and we have common enemy forces aligned against us. We can be distracted on issues designed to drive a wedge between us or we can set some things from our common heritage aside and look for the good and the strengths we share.
We don't have to share all of the same strengths. We do have to combine our strengths to defeat enemies who are sworn to destroy all of us, without discrimination or reservation independent of "race, color, gender, or creed".

Amen. If we are to have any sort of long-term future as a nation, it will be by letting go of the past but not forgetting it, and moving forward to fight the enemies we face who would tear us apart and ruin any chance of enduring freedom.
