Republican lawmakers are urging the Justice Department not to participate in a convention held by the Islamic Society of North America — a group named as an unindicted co-conspirator in an ongoing terrorism-financing case. In a letter to Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales, Reps. Peter Hoekstra of Michigan, ranking member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and Sue Myrick of North Carolina called the Justice Department's involvement a "grave mistake." "In light of the threat that our nation ... is currently facing from radical jihadists, and because of the president's commitment to fighting the war on terror on all fronts, we believe it is a grave mistake to provide legitimacy to an organization with extremist origins, leadership and a radical agenda," the lawmakers said... "It is absolute insanity for the federal government, especially the Department of Justice, to be giving any credibility at all to a group like the ISNA, which has such strong links to Islamic extremism," Mr. King said. (Rep. Peter T. King, New York Republican).... Rank-and file lawyers within the Justice Department object to participating at the ISNA convention, fearing it will undermine the case against the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. According to an e-mail from Susana Lorenzo-Giguere, acting deputy chief of the Voting Rights Division, the plan to "co-sponsor an exhibit booth" will involve sending government lawyers to man it for the Labor Day weekend event in Illinois. Our tax-dollars at work, giving legitimacy to those who want to destroy our culture and kill us. Don't be surprised if our Justice Department bows their heads to the ground and raises their butts in the air in servitude to the Islamic Society. After all, this is the same Justice Department that forces its FBI agents to attend "diversity" and "sensitivity" training from CAIR, another unindicted co-conspirator in the same federal case against the Holy Land Foundation, a funding cover for terrorists. Good job, Hudson! When is the last time the Justice Department sent lawyers to help man a booth for a local Baptist Association? Just curious... Fair is fair, boys. If you wanta waste my hard-earned tax money catering to the Islamist terrorist front groups, the least you could do is buy cookies from your local Baptist or Methodist bake-sale. Personally, I'd rather you spend the JD lawyers' time closing down and deporting ALL of the terrorist front groups, not aiding and abetting them.
Conservative Beach Girl is speech protected in accordance with the Constitution of the United States of America. "The Constitution is not a suicide pact" - Justice Robert H. Jackson, 1949. Our representative republic based on our U.S. Constitution has many wolves slashing at our heels and hearts. Enemies within and enemies without; we must take them at their word, even as they dissemble at every turn to advance their cause to destroy our way of life and end our freedoms.

From Crusader Rabbit, this is not a platform for leftist tripe.
The "Twenty Year Plan" actually appears to be an analysis of apparent Muslim intentions by a Christian, not a document of Muslim origin. As such, the title appears to be a bit misleading. Much of what it says appears to be the Muslim intent, but whether it is a plan, or whether it is simply the result of pressing forward on all fronts is anybodies guess. Either way, it should be taken as a warning of what Islam is attempting to do in the West and in the USA in particular.
ReplyDeleteThe very idea of the DoJ participating in an event connected to any religion ought to have the ACLU in an uproar. This has separation of church and state issues written all over it. So were are our liberal defenders of separation, the ACLU? We can be assured that they are sleeping soundly in their beds, because this involvement is different, this is acceptable to them. Their lack of objectivity staggers the mind!
Keep up the light of truth. I love your analysis and blog! Regards

ReplyDeleteA few of them may be growing cajones, but for the most part, the GOP has become spineless, which doesn't mix well with the slimy left. God help us.
