Mikko's Ethnic Agitations - Keep our eye on the prize: Freedom of Speech

At the Gates of Vienna, the Baron has provided Ethnic Agitation in Finland. The Baron provides an excellent reminder of what we are fighting for in What got Mikko Ellila into trouble with the police.
We must be ever vigilant of the steps taken incrementally to erode and to eventually eradicate so many of our freedoms here in the United States of America. I am working now on an analysis of recent planning by CAIR as it moves to establish Sharia Law as the law of the land.
Whether or not the tactics will work or whether they are extremely shallow - which is my contention - the tactics promise to keep us all on our toes. A time will come when a bully will just have to be called a bully. A time will come when the bully in the playground gets a nose out of joint because others simply ignore him. That is what we must come to do with CAIR - ignore them and their whining in favor of listening to "moderate" Muslims who will denounce the goal of overthrowing our government and who will agree to live under secular law as do we all in America.
We must keep focused on the prize - the strengthening of our Freedoms of Speech, Assembly, Religion. We must dig our heels in and not give an inch; we cannot allow ourselves to be bullied into "submission", into accepting the political policies of Islam.
We cannot condone the likes of House Resolution 288, see Hate Crimes laws protect "whom"? Wink-wink.

The current description below the title says, "Ombudsman for Minorities Mikko Puumalainen (050-3960140) has asked the police to investigate this blog as 'incitement against an ethnic group.' Thus, here you can read texts that muslims and their subservients, the multi-culti fanatics, think should be censored."
Thank you, Adelphi. Do you know where I can find Mikko's work that so incensed his detractors (sp)? I saw a pit of his writing on Islam as totalitarian but did not write down the link? Thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteI believe that Freedom of Speech is inherent, certainly we have had our own censorship laws which I think unconstitutional - most recently the McCain-Fiengold Campaign Finance Reform Bill (109th or 108th Congress) which really censored average Americans from speaking against candidates 60 days before a general election.
One of the things I see as important - internationally - is that we work to keep each other informed of the processes used against us, especially bloggers - from nation to nation. Maybe that will eventually help us create a body of info that can be used by us as a counter-attack manual, no violence please.
