Our representative republic based on our U.S. Constitution has many wolves slashing at our heels and hearts. Enemies within and enemies without; we must take them at their word, even as they dissemble at every turn to advance their cause to destroy our way of life and end our freedoms.

Honoring Memory of Victims of 9-11-2001
Today, I read that President Bush has named this weekend as a time to honor and remember the victims of the 9-11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centers, the Pentagon, and United Flight 93.
We are all victims in some way of 9-11 but victimology is not part of the American psyche. We don't wear it well. Ours is a heritage of courage and valour.
We do need to remember those killed by the murdering jihadists. We need to remember the folks on United Flight 93. And as we do that, we need to honor and to thank our men and women in uniform and undercover in the myriad of agencies working diligently on our behalf at much personal sacrifice.
I thank them. Several years ago, a young man who worked here where I live was talking with me about his soon-to-begin service in the CIA. I told him that when the going got tough and he wondered why he was doing what he was doing in the hills of Afghanistan or other remote places, just to remember the lady at the beach, remember me. The lady who could not do the fighting that he had chosen to do. Remember that I honor him, his sacrifice, and his courage. And I thank God everyday for Americans like him.
The very best way to honor the men, women, and children killed in 9-11 and anywhere by terrorists is to kick some drug cartel, human smuggling, terrorist war-waging butt!
In memory of 9-11, a loud military cheer, a Hoorah! for our men and women on the front line either at home or overseas.
