What a great change from the horrors that surround us. Watching the pro-tennis men and women play and apply their skills is humbling and fabulous fun. Just think how many tennis balls they all have hit to get where they are in their careers. And Del Potro is making his way back to his former form.

Having lived in Japan for four years, my heart goes out to the people there in their suffering and loss.

I expect the Middle East to get worse and worse now that the leaders or nations aiding and abetting the madness see how effective their work has been.

And who knows what will happen here to the microscopic dollar and the price of oil. But we are in good hands with the administration that has the middle class even in mind.

Poor Hillary as she works to do her job. Actually, I think the job in the State Department is a good one for her personally.

I hope to be able to write more as time goes on and my injury continues to heal as the doctors say it will but you know how tiring injuries can be sometimes.

We all have ups and downs; that's what makes us human I suppose. All of you who have had difficulties in 2010, take a look at the things that you need to run your household - food for yourself and for your pets, and all those things that are part and parcel of your weekly living. Don't hoard stuff, just get a few cans of this and that when you shop in 2011.

I wish I could advise on investments but I've been going through the same questions myself. What I have done throughout my lifetime is buy stock in the companies that make several products I use all of the time. Might as well bring the cost of my gas at the pump down by getting paid for my purchases in food and/or gas.

It is suggested by some folks that 2011 through 2013 are going or could be rough for us. I don't know but it doesn't hurt to have some supplies around. Where I live, I keep Sterno for cooking a can of food if the power goes out, etc. Others are more sophisticated than I am on that but it works for me.

You know what you need as stables (sp) in your life so think about it...

I started out with Indian Wells ATP tennis tournament and then just moved around a bit at I thought about things. I cannot write when most of what I see is just dead-on against us and our way of life.

We are lucky in that we have a President who does tell us what he wants to do. He's good at those things. For myself, I cannot write about the government/administration because it is very tiring; very tiring day in and day out. Mike Jericho warned me about the intensity of blogging long ago and he is and was right.

Although a few friends chastise me for my belief in our nation's people to rise above and meet the challenge, I still do believe in US. The main way to meet the challenges that are bearing down upon us is to become educated and to teach our children in the ways of decision-making, saving their money, and turning their faith to God, the God of our Fathers and of our early hardworking souls who couldn't very well get back to England back in the early 1600s.

We all have grit in us and we can use it to win in adversity. Don't spend too much, get out of debt, and give as much as you can to the poor through whatever charities you can and do support. Whatever you have that is cluttering your home can be another man or woman's saving need.

God bless you and God bless our nation and those nations that are our allies in their efforts to remain free. Freedom is hard work and work is what it is.

Look at WI and the union bruhaha there. Seems like the "revolutionary" folks think their time is right and they want to kill the Middle Class. Well, get up to the counter and take a number. The list is longer than one might think.

Look at the website for Socialist Democrats Society or such. and see that fist clenched tight. Yep, those union folks have it bad in America.

God bless their families and maybe they'll see that the Middle Class can't support the bills that have been hoisted upon it...

Australian Tennis Open - what a brief change!

When the wind and snow are blowing and going outside is either impossible or a real risk, we have the Australian Tennis Open from Melbourne, Australia.

With respect and sorrow for the folks and animals large and small who have suffered through the terrible conditions in Queensland, it is good to see the tennis open in Melbourne.

I have to ask where are the American players both women and men as we seem to be rather out of current stars in any numbers. Doesn't seem to be much depth on the American side.

But the tournament is a relief and does those of us who are snow bound some good to see the athletes playing and implementing the hours upon hours of training and practice in perfecting their skills.

To the folks "down under", thank you.

Loss of friends to incurable diseases

Recently my family has shared with two other families in the loss of two friends who fought the "good fight" and worked to overcome two debilitating illnesses. One friend was a young woman who had recently turned 40 and had been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma two years ago. She fought for her life and the illness spread through her body and her body but not her Soul had to "go home" to God. Another friend for decades was struck with a different debilitating sickness that took her life just a few weeks ago. Actually these friends of my family did not know each other but they both passed on within 24 hours of each other, just 3 to 4 minutes short of 24 hours.

Writing has not been a strength for me lately as other situations have demanded time. But if not for family and friends during our short journey what would life be about?

Of certainly, there is always "politics" which is a change from the day to day experiences we live but if you can find a way to get involved in causes you care about and fulfill your dreams, non-violently of course, then find the area that calls to you and find the voices with which you find friendship.

Live your life as best as you can; try to find what lies behind some of what you read and see daily; and in America, bring God into your life and read and research.

The loss of two friends - friendships that lasted years - is difficult. I am glad for our friends who allowed us to share their lives and who have be able to escape their real pain and suffering. Being glad for friends who have been able to escape their pain and who had good families who loved them both do not mean that we cannot be glad for them yet miss their physical presence.

If you want to send a gift to Ewing's Sarcoma foundation for research, please do that. For my other friend who passed away, I'll keep her suffering private for her and for her family.

Find a way to add more to the life you have been given and if you or a loved one are suffering now, please accept love and prayers directed your way.

Have a Blessed Christmas...and a good 2011. Each of us can make a difference in our own small universe. We just have to find the way and the place where we can give without expectations of "return". Just do what we can on our own for our churches and for the people they feed and for the comfort they are able to give.

Juan Williams canned from NPR - good for Williams; don't go back Juan

To take my lead from First Lady Obama, for the FIRST time in my adult life, I have been marginally glad that a few of my hard-earned tax dollars have gone to pay the salary of Juan Williams - one of the not worthless government employees at NPR - for speaking the truth and trying to say we need to stop choking ourselves to death on that same disgusting "political correctness."

Mr. Williams is absolutely correct. We have to get beyond this "political correctness" censorship so that we can talk about these issues that face us. When that Muslim bomber was on trial in New York and he said that the war of Islam against us, the United States, has only just begun, we have to take him seriously.

Where are the "moderate" Muslims marching against the hate that is preached in the Koran?

Are we going to have to have Muslim internment camps. Good Lord, no. Should we cut back on the immigration of Muslim folks, something to think about. Where are the "moderate" Muslims. Not following the Koran that's where. From what I see, the so-called "moderate" Muslims are keeping a low profile and going along to get along here in America but make no mistake, there will be none of them fighting against Sharia Law taking over our secular. They like the freedoms we have in America but because they don't speak out and because they don't let their voices be heard for moderation and for "loving thy neighbor as thyself" we only have the Koran and the actions of radical Islamic or Muslim terrorists to look to for the behavior that defines Islam.

If many are going to maintain the illusion that Islam is a religion, then they will have to accept that the "religion" of Islam has declared war against America and all Western Civilization.

It is painful to say this but the truth is that one day we will have our backs to the wall and we will have to defend our nation from militant Islam. The followers of Islam can't have it a dozen ways: militant Islam, radical Islam, spiritual Islam, economic Islam, Marxist Islam (aka "social justice" Islam which means redistribution of money from your pocket to someoneelses.) Cultural Islam, family rules Islam where polygamy is the norm and wives are to be beaten and daughters killed.

Are we going to be forced to have Muslim oaths of allegiance to the United States? Of course not because the Koran says to lie to the unbelievers to advance the goals of Islam.

The firing of Juan Williams, the token-black person of NPR, goes to show you why NO tax dollars should go to pay for that despicable Pravda-like GOVERNMENT run, operated, and controlled radio station.

So, why would any prudent American be just a bit leery of folks flaunting their belief in the "so called religion of peace"? Calling attention to themselves and intentionally daring folks to speak about their fear such as the "flying imams?"

Same reason any person of any ethnicity or any color of skin would be a bit prudent if she were walking down a sidewalk full of youth dressed like gang-bangers, calling women and girls bitches and whores, regardless of the color of their skin.

Like Brigitte Gabriel of the American Congress for Truth said today on the Hannity show, we have to start "calling a spade a spade" and get rid of this political correctness but then I'm sure Brigitte didn't know the "calling a spade a spade" reference because she is Lebanese Christian and can't be expected to know all of our idioms.

I think Juan Williams should refuse to work for NPR. He's much too good to be associated with those government lackeys.

There have been over 16,000 acts of terror committed by Muslim terrorists since 9/11. Anyone would be a fool not to be aware of their surroundings when a group of folks flaunted being Muslims. Keep in mind that followers of Islam are not any one ethnicity and they are not localized to a specific geographical region.

And maybe if Mara Liasson is lucky she can get herself canned from NPR too so they can show us who they really are in addition to intolerant, they are anti-black and anti-Semite. Working for NPR seems like being a second-class citizen, an affirmative action job 'cause you can't do anything else.

But that is not the case with Juan Williams or Mara Liasson. They are both capable and competent folks and Juan showed that bowing to political correctness is what NPR is all about and he also showed why we can't discuss the issues that are so important to us as a nation because of the intolerant bigots of NPR. They are bigots because they are against you or in this case Juan Williams because he voiced a very reasonable perspective.

The next Muslim terrorist attacks and the blood of the killed and injured is on the hands of the bigots at NPR for shutting down a conversation we need to have.

And for shutting down a black American who has proved his worth as a man, an American man.

Shame on NPR... Let's shut them down.

Obama on campaign trail. Talk about wearing thi

Well, Mr. Obama is on the campaign trail helping out Democrats running for election during this election cycle.

He's tossed off his suit jacket and gotten down so he can talk to "we the little people." Make us feel comfortable within the brilliance of the light around his that is so bright.

It doesn't take him very long to wear thin and right now he's so thin he looks like rice paper. Out there stumping for Democrats in the House and a few in the Senate who may get their knickers ripped this go around.

I listen to the prognosticators but I don't think anyone can come close to guessing right about how the voters will exercise their "voting" rights this year.

For those of you who will be voting in precincts that have a chance of being commandeered by the Black Panther Party - those thugs making sure you are not intimidated when you try to vote, if you are white that is.

Take your cell phones and take any kind of recording device so that you can get those memorable videoes of the thugs threatening you with night sticks and with abusive language and such. Of course, it that happens and you are frightened away, don't worry, our justice department will not prosecute anyone who tries to keep white people from voting because voting rights laws are not there to protect all Americans, only to protect the non-white folks. Or so it seems based upon the experience of the last election.

Take you cell phones, take a camera, tell some one where you are going, and avoid harm to yourself. Based upon recent past experience the law is not there to protect you unless you are non-white. If you are mixed race, the law is only there to protect your non-white side.

Arguably we could have the most racist folks in power these days since the days of LBJ when he even said "He'd bought the "n-word" vote for the next 200 years. Yep, he said it and looks like he was correct in his assessment. This he said upon passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 or 1965.

Naturally, you won't find an educator to tell the kids that Republicans are the folks who voted for passage of that law to give us all equal access, not equal outcome.

But it's Republican's keeping the black folks down...

And who was the first president to command black soldiers in combat? Yes, it was General George Washington...

For this campaign season, Mr. Obama is tiresome with his worn out platitudes trying to encourage young folks, blacks, and others to vote for Democrats but then why should they?

Under the Obama Health Care legislation, those very young folks will be fined if they don't buy health care that fits Obama's mandated guidelines. That could be unconstitutional but the Constitution doesn't seem to bother this plague of democrat legislators.

But he wants those folks who may be fined and maybe worse to vote for his dems who saddled us all with obama Death panel care. So, then why would you vote for a Democrat who voted for legislation that will fine you if you don't purchase what you are dictated to buy, and why would you vote for a Democrat who voted for legislation that has the mechanism to decide who lives and who dies by deciding who receives care and who doesn't?

I haven't read the Obama health care legislation because much of it is being made up as the agencies authorized to implement it are busy writing the protocols or guidelines for program implementation. No one voted on the entire legislation because it didn't exist. The only thing that existed was a shell of what agency would be responsible for writing the guidelines for any given aspect of the "health CARE" legislation.

And Mr. Obama wants us to vote for folks who voted to put over 2,000 pages of paper with outlines for what agencies would be responsible for creating or writing which guidelines to implement the sketch that is Obama health care. I could be wrong about my take on it but who would vote for folks controlled by a Congressman such as the Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, who laughingly quipped, "If you want to know what is in the bill/legislation, you'll have to vote on it before you can see it." And even then it was a measure of a grand design to hand over 1/6th of our entire industry to agencies in Washington.

So a little research on your Congressman and on your Senators who may be up for re-election.

When you go to the polls to vote for their election or re-election, be able to say that you know much more about their legislative history than they did about Obama's scheme cloaked under the ruberic of "health care" that could eradicate the weakest and most helpless amongst us than they did.

Some much more astute than I when it comes to everything Washington, D.C. and the Congress, could perhaps say that the Obama Health Care Scheme was the single most giant grab by our federal government to "put the middle class" under the thumb of our governing elite.

We won't know for a while what adverse impact this behometh of a governmental take-over on the order of authoritative control will have.

But in just two years, we have seen government taking over aspects of our banking and financial industry, our automobile industry, and our health care industry that "once upon a time in America" was considered the best health care system in the entire world.

One thing for certain, the Progressives have been tireless and have spread their poison throughout the world, most specifically what was once called Western Civilization. And they have eroded the foundation of many nations. When I studied history, I never cared much for Woodrow Wilson and his League of Nations. But I have to give credit where credit is due - individualism and individual rights and responsibilities are being consumed and perhaps are in their death throes.

Mr. Obama is exhorting us to come out and vote; I'm with him on that. Come out and vote but don't ask yourself if your life is better or worse now since Mr. Obama's ascendancy to the presidency.

Ask if you have to go to the back of the line because illegal immigrants have their place carved out for them ahead of American citizens. Who gets the benefits you, your parents, and I have worked for? The illegal immigrant is a most favored "class" now or so it seems.

Illegal immigrants can go to the head of the line. If they don't speak English, they can ask for and get an interpreter. You with your sick child can wait your turn.

Do I blame this discrimination against American citizens against illegal immigrants? Not at all. They are only doing what they have been told to do so that they can game the system or get the benefits designed to help them. Remember, an American has a job and benefits BECAUSE of the illegal immigrants and the demands or burdens they have heaped upon our system.

Mr. Obama is on the campaign trail, clearly a place where he is happiest.

Let's go out and vote on Nov. 2 as he asks us to do but this time, let's not be fooled.

Don't vote for the person who will rob money from one American to give it to another American. That is not the America we want or need. If you vote for a person like that, you are voting for legislated stealing from one American to feed the family of another American family. That is theft.

Don't vote for a political party. I have been guilty of that for years and this year, I am voting for the first time for a person of another political party because he voted the way I wanted him to vote and although he is of the president's political party, he voted against that party. Now, I know he was allowed to do that in order to hold his seat but we'll see what happens.

Let's all of us go out and vote and this time take a step on the wild side. Vote for the person you think is the best for America.

Don't vote for the candidate who will vote on legislation that will legalize the stealing of money from one American family to put money in the pocket of another American family to give them the other man's money. That is stealing food from the table of the other American. Is that what we are about? Teaching our children to keep thieves in office? And how does it feel to vote for someone who will steal taxes from a fellow American citizen to give those taxes to you?

We have to end this cycle of stealing and we can do it now.

We are Americans; we do help each other but we do not steal from each other at the ballot box. Do we?

And if we do, what kind of chance does that give your children to rise to meet the American Dream when they finally realize that a neighbor's taxes which began as income earned through hard work have been the source of the money you have used or claimed to buy things for them?

When one American family steals from another family because of legislation passed to buy votes, everyone takes a loss.

And then how can you encourage your children to work for the American Dream when you know that another family down the street is waiting for their hand-out so that they can steal the American Dream from your children and their hard work counts for nothing?

We have to break this cycle of forced-dependency and we have to throw out the Congressmen who want to keep us under the thumb of government dependency and who want to make us complicit in stealing from other Americans the incomes they have earned through hard work and self-sacrifice.

We are Americans and we can break this cycle of dependency. Americans do help each other when we need help but encouraging theft is not the way to help each other. We need to get rid of the Congressmen who want to make us party to this stealing through legislation.

Let's start right now...

Why do you think many Democrat folks running for office are running from Obama's help on the campaign trail? Could it be because we are finally waking up and we are beginning to shake off the chains of dependency on BIG government?

With those chains and with that dependency come low self esteem and the mantel of "second-class" citizenship. Also comes fear and a sense of unworthiness.

We are Americans. We can make things fair and we can work to reach our American Dream.

Do you think that university professors earned their degrees without self-sacrifice and hard work? Do you think that NASA scientists didn't have to work and study hard?

The American Dream takes hard work and making choices that deal with self-sacrifice and doing without that instant gratification mind-set. That is all illusion anyway.

This election cycle, vote and vote for the people who are worthy of your vote and your support.

We are Americans and we need people of honor working for us in Congress. You work hard and earn the credentials you need for the career you want.

Sometimes we all need a hand up but not decades of a hand out. When you know that those dollars are coming out of the mouths and off the dinner table of neighbors, those checks cannot make you feel better about yourself.

Prepare yourself for the career you want and then sacrifice so you can earn the credentials and the job. It takes "baby steps" and a plan.

But we've got to get Big Brother off our backs and one way to do that is to get off of the gravy train. You can do it.

This election is a good time to start making your plan and finding out the steps to reaching it. Expect to do some hard work, to forego some instant gratification, and to burn some midnight oil studying but the work is worth it. There will be jobs but none of us can sit around and wait for the jobs to come knocking on our door. We have to make a plan and work the plan.

And the first step is to elect Congressmen who honor hard work and integrity and do not believe that the American Dream consists of stealing from one American to reward others - legal or not.

Rumored: Jackasses need old white guy on 2012 presidential ticket? What?

According to Toby Harnden of the UK Telegraph blogs, the jackasses, burros, or donkies need an old white guy on their election ticket for 2012.

Well, hold on a minute, if Barack runs for president again, that will put two white guys on the ticket and I thought white guys were out of fashion. I know, Barack is mixed race, 1/2 or maybe more white and we see how that's working for us, not because of his skin color but because he has no, zip, nada business experience. With Barack and Biden on the Dems ticket in 2012, that's just too many white folks of the Socialist Marxist ultra-liberal left persuasion, at least it's two too many for me.

I want a Hispanic with no dilemma of ethnic schizophrenia or identify crisis going on. I don't think Biden is confused about his ethnicity but these days one can never tell.

Joe Biden blurts out that he will be Barack Obama's 2012 running mate...

Why not a white woman like Hillary Clinton. She doesn't seem to have any identity crisis going on regarding her ethnicity. And chatting with Eleanor Roosevelt wasn't such a bad thing during Bill's wanderlust. Oh, I forgot. Hillary is way to smart to jump into that brier patch with those yokels.

Obama may approve China buying up rights to drill for oil in 600,000 of land in Texas. Sounds good, China owns us anyway and our folks can't drill for oil, our oil, any place but China can drill off of Cuba, off of Hugo's dictatorship, who knows where else. Of course, they own the Panama Canal so shipping won't be a problem.

Why in the world would Obama drag out an old white man to be his running in 2012? Obama's solidly replaced Jimmy Carter as the worst president in the recorded history of the world and he did it without much help from his VP so let's leave old white men alone for a while.

Hmmm...

Maybe Barack can't find any other white guys to play with. Maybe prospective playmates such as Bloomberg of NYC are too busy dictating how much salt kids can have in "Happy Meals." Or ordering how much fruit and lettuce and vegetables have to be part of those "Happy Meals..." [Oh, Kudos to McD's for playing hard ball in the sand box about this health care stuff... Who will stand up for the rest of us when the death panels start drawing numbers out of the hopper?]

Talk about getting rid of the middle class. Whoopsie!

If we can just find enough wine, cheese, crackers, and beer, all of this political junk may get to be a little funny like a comedy of errors or "Saturday Night Don't we wish we were funny" for crying out loud.

Don't take the job if it is offered, Joe. The White House will just be lining up to "blame it all on you" the only old white guy in sight. I know you are the smiling buffoon of the DC circuit but even you should have your limits. You seem like a likable enough fellow but haven't you lowered your standards enough?

Run away, Joe! Run the other way. Run, Joe, Run! RUN away as far and as fast as your little legs can get you.

Actually, I'd like to see Hillary Clinton run at the top of the Democrat ticket in 2012. She might have a good chance at winning. And we need Bill back in the White House getting the interns on roller-skates and letting Madame President throw all the crystal ashtrays she wants to throw.

We need the sparkle and twinkle of the Clintons; and maybe they can return some of our White House furniture those movers may have removed by accident.

Black Republicans can break down Obama deferring to the "race" card for the failure of his Socialist Marxist policies. At every turn, Obama and his minions have used the "race" card as the reason his policies have failed. The nation is just full of white crackers with no brains who don't like him 'cause he's got black skin. Boo hoo!

Who voted to put Mr. Obama in the White House? White folks; he couldn't have gotten there without them. Of course he received nearly 100% of the votes cast by black Americans but that number is not enough to put him or anyone else into the White House. White folks put Mr. Obama into the White House; white folks pay the majority of the taxes in this nation; and Democrats of all ethnicities and skin colors spend those hard-earned tax dollars.

It is called theft or stealing by legislation and if there is one thing Democrat representatives excel in it is stealing from tax payers to buy their constituents.

Obama has a white mother and white grand parents who gave him the best and most elite education and living conditions possible in Hawaii after he returned from Indonesia where he spent his childhood learning the religion or political ideology of his Kenyan father - the geopolitical indoctrination that is Islam.

To me, every time Mr. Obama uses the "race" card, he cheapens the office of the president and proves he's not man enough to hold that office. How could he be if he whines about "race" as the reason his policies are not popular. Maybe he should be using the "race" card and saying, "Yep, I owe my office to those white racists who were dumb enough to swallow my line, hook, line, and sink 'er."

Thank you, Iowa Democrats. You bought it and we're having to pay for it...

Black Republicans offer hope after Barack Obama's failures on race.

I have helped several black conservative candidates by working on their campaigns and I'll do it again; not because they have black skin but because they understand our Constitution and they have "left the handouts of the plantation" long ago.

Personally, I don't know that "race" relations are so bad between "white and black" Americans. The growing Hispanic voting block will soon leave the black voting block in the dust and then there's gonna be some wailing about those "Mexicans" taking away "our" handouts.

Man up! Don't look to the government to take care of any of us. The only thing government does well is control people in a myriad of ways.

Let's leave Mr. Obama's race card in the waste basket and the rest of us, black, white, red, and yellow - stand together as Americans. We don't have to buy into that very tired "race" card gambit any more. It is a ploy and we're better than that.

Hmm.... "Hand-to-hand combat" sounds like a tad of a violent threat from our pacifist president doesn't it?

The political pundits and talking heads are wailing and moaning or prognosticating that Mr. Obama is out of touch with the American people but no one can get through to him 'cause he's gonna have his policies in place to "fundamentally change American" and Americans into automatons locked in the clutches of the Wicked Witch of the Beltway all seeing and all controlling government.

But are things really so bad for Mr. Obama on the political front. Let's say, the American people toss out Democrats such as San Fran Nan and Babs Boxer and even their evil twin Harry Reid in the Senate. What changes?

Nothing. The President can and will veto every measure the Republicans/Conservatives pass to try to bring this country to its founding roots. He can also use those pesky Executive Orders to install tyranny and there is nothing that anyone can do about it.

Mr. Obama made no mystery about the change he wants to bring to America. And although he didn't especially use these words, the goal of the administration seems to be to destroy the middle class and make access to the American Dream in accessible to minorities. Why? Because he doesn't want those folks to make decisions for themselves; he or his party don't want those folks to taste freedom as well as the grand American spirit of taking responsibility for one's success. Reaching those goals and sitting back to relax after a good day's work, proud of one's labor and accomplishment is the gift that keeps on giving and building the soul that makes America and Americans - all of us - strong.

Stepping back just a bit, I don't think Mr. Obama would be one bit unhappy if Republicans were put into Congressional power because they would still be effectively powerless against the power of the ever encroaching federal government. If your goal is to break the middle class, foster more dependency upon the nanny state, keep the wool over the eyes of minorities and keep many of them locked into the mind-set that they are victims, take control of business and industry, take over our health care system, then I'd say our president can look back over the last two years and clink glasses with Reid and Pelosi and say, "Hey, man, job well-done." We don't need Al Qaeda. We can bring America to its knees all on our own with legislative measures that are over 2,000 pages long and give the job of filling in the details to federal agencies.

Have we lost control of our representative republic? You betcha!

The Progressives or Far Left Liberals have been working since the turn of the last century and it has taken them about 100 years to shred our founding principles. Before anyone goes off screaming and hollering, I have to be fair and admit that Democrat as well as Republican presidents have worked toward making us a Socialist Marxist nation.

The only difference at one level is that the Democrat leadership, much like the leadership of the Islamic Fundamentalist tell us what they plan to do to our nation to change it. And we fail to believe them each and every time...

To me, Mr. Obama is just following on the the failed tradition of Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. Do you remember the day she marched down to Capitol Hill with her large satchels at hand, the satchels that carried all of her plans for that massive HEALTH CARE over hall she was going to push through.

Well, I wonder just how much of Hillary's plan is neatly wrapped up in that 2,000 page bill on Health Care the Dems passed. I'll bet they didn't have to do much to develop it except just dress it up a bit, put it in new binders, reprint it on non-yellowed paper and call it NEW.

Yes, whether we American people throw out the Socialist Democrats or not, Mr. Obama should be pleased with the success his administration and the Congress have had striving to reach their goals.

It will take as long as it takes and the first place to start is to get rid of the federal Department of Education. The states must take back the responsibility of educating their citizens. There are many good teachers across America but they must belong to the NEA, a national union, or something like it and the union, like all unions, is not about anything but their own power and protecting the pay and benefits of union members whether they are qualified or not.

I guess Mr. Obama is threatening the American people with "hand-to-hand" combat if they put Republicans in office. For those of us who have served in combat or supported husbands and wives who have served in combat, that is not a term to be tossing around lightly. Shame on him...

And on the issue of Black-White race relations... Come on, give me a break. When we are left alone we are just fine. Or so it seems to me, from a generalized point of view.

How can we have good "race" relations when our president clearly supports and encourages a anti-white racist view when it comes to law enforcement such as civil rights and voter intimidation? A racist or what appears to be an anti-white, racist Department of Justice under Mr. Obama's leadership certainly doesn't bode well for white or non-Hispanic white Americans. Any white or non-Hispanic white American who believes he or she will qualify for minority assistance and equality under the law of a seemingly racist Department of Justice is in la, la land.

Didn't you know, Civil Rights laws and Voting Rights protections do not apply to white-skinned Americans or so it seems. No you folks can be intimidated by black panther thugs at a voting precinct, denied access and have not one DOJ lawyer protect your equal access.

I worked at a voting precinct inside on a recent election day. I was there to ensure that folks didn't vote more than once, etc. The precinct was predominately comprised of black voters. One voter was screaming and hollering that they didn't have enough voting stations in that voting place and the whites down the way at another voting place had more voting stations. That was a blatant lie. I knew that because I voted at the other precinct. This man was trying to vote in the morning when the polls had opened and everyone was trying to vote before going to work - so of course it was crowded.

Another man had to wait to vote because records showed that he had voted "absentee" ballot. Fortunately the folks who keep the records were able to find his "absentee" ballot. It seems his mother had filled out an "absentee" ballot that had been sent to his house. Of course, that was fraud but once the folks in charge got that straightened out, he voted. I don't know what happened to the "absentee" ballot his mother had used, signed his name on, and mailed in. This was a good experience because he had brought his son, about 10 or 12 years old, to see how voting takes place and we all saw how orderly it was. He was able to vote and all was well with the world.

Funny thing was that there were at least 1/2 a dozen lawyers there to ensure that black voters were able to vote and were not intimidated or kept from voting. As an observer, I had a chance to watch the very pious and pompous attorneys strutting around ensuring that no black voter was kept from voting.

No one was there to defend the voting rights of the little old white ladies with their walkers and canes making their way through the early crush of people. But the folks who ran the voting precinct were efficient and ready for all eventualities.

At another precinct in another part of the state one of my family members was not allowed to vote because of not being registered in that precinct - that denial of the right to vote is illegal in our state and the ballot should have been taken, the paperwork filled out, and then the city's registrar would have counted the vote and verified that the person was indeed registered to vote in that city.

It makes me sick when politicians work to pit us against each other. Life is hard enough and God knows the Islamic terrorists don't care which ones of us that they kill so we should stand together and not allow our politicians to divide us.

Can you imagine what would have happened if a few white folks in neo-nazi gear tried to run off a few black voters through verbal intimidation and threatening with a night-stick? Those folks would never see daylight again but the black panthers seem to get gold stars from Mr. Obama's minions which of course encourages them in future intimidation tactics.

Maybe there is not equality before the law under Mr. Obama's Department of Justice. We'll just have to wait and see perhaps...

As the nation becomes more Hispanic, I would suspect the Hispanic voting block will become more powerful and black voting blocks which are rather isolated or restricted when you look at maps of voting districts will become less powerful or have less clout with politicians and only have voting power in some limited local areas.

If you look up the Hispanic Caucus, the Black Caucus, and the Progressive Stalinist Caucus in Congress, you can get an idea how the chips will fall as Hispanic voting blocks become more powerful.

We know the non-Hispanic white voting blocks are decreasing in size and birth rates decrease in that category and older non-Hispanic white voters die off.

That's what ticks me off about this dieing stuff - you don't get to see how trends change and mutate. And the political warfare between Hispanic voting blocks and black voting blocks will be interesting. I can be wrong on this of course but I have read that the black population will hold at about 13% of the total population for some long time with the Hispanic population growing from a variety of reasons. The white population is becoming more and more insignificant by the day, from my perspective, so it should all be interesting.

I'm rather glad to see the seemingly racist, anti-white internal policies of the Department of Justice being brought into the light concerning voter rights and such. I'm rather sick of being taught that only non-Hispanic white folks are racists. There's plenty of room for that appellation across our multi-racial groups and it is a glorious thing to see. So suck it up and let's see if lady justice can be color blind and ensure equality before the law for white folks too... Excuse me, we don't have "white" folks any more; they are now non-Hispanic white folks. Maybe we don't have black folks anymore either; maybe they will become non-Hispanic black folks. Do black Americans support Obama's racist Department of Justice? Difficult to say definitively but as a guess, probably.

With the mind-warping indoctrination of "political correctness", another word for censorship or "shut whitey up" and the insidiousness of multiculturalism where we are indoctrinated with the idea that all cultures are morally equal or that moral equivalency prevails and "honor" killings of innocent women and young teen-age daughters is condoned and encouraged in some cultures and is simply hunky-dory.

Americans seem to have lost their own moral compass.

But I wonder why black Americans who can be counted on with over-whelming consistency to vote for black-skinned candidates, many with socialist or tribal views, don't seem to appreciate that by doing so they are taking the possibility of attaining the American dream right out of the mouths of their very own children.

It is laughable when the NAACP or other such black groups whine that a white-skinned politician won't bother to come and speak to them. Why in the world should that politician waste time and resources trying to talk sense to a group of folks whose near majority across the electorate will vote for the slave-masters who work through legislation to keep black Americans down on the plantation and indebted to their Democrat slave-masters.

Just watch and see what happens as the Hispanic population becomes an even larger voting block - why do you think most Democrat politicians are pushing for amnesty? To help some poor Mexican, illegal immigrant down on his luck after having broken our laws? No, not a chance. It is to weaken the voting block of black Americans and increase the Hispanic voting block making the black American voting block less and less significant.

It is estimated that the black American population will remain about 13% of the American population for decades to come. The Hispanic voting block will become larger and larger thus supplanting and shifting the voting block power black Americans used to have and transferring this voting power to Hispanic voters and yes, strangely enough toward the non-Hispanic white voting block.

With the exception of some regional voting power, black Americans as a voting block will grow less and less significant. That will be interesting to watch.

And with black Americans demonstrating racism as a group, not as individuals, do you think they will be any thing but used by the Hispanic leaders?

When black Americans in the Obama racist Department of Justice decide to enforce voting rights laws and civil rights laws with a clear bias against white people, doesn't that behavior demonstrate that they just as easily become biased against Hispanic people when that group takes on more power as a voting block?

I learned all I needed to know about the "law and justice" attitudes of the black American population at large when I saw black Americans shouting and rejoicing that O.J. Simpson was accquitted in the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Their national behavior that O.J. Simpson had beaten "the man" by getting off with those murders told me that all black criminals needed to be tried by black attorneys, with black judges, and all black juries - and then lets see what happens when these folks release horrible criminals back on the street - the condition should be that the criminals would be restricted to black communities. How long would it be before the folks living in those communities were screaming for justice?

If it it true that 91% of black American voters vote for black candidates, usually liberal and usually against many laws that would help the black community, then why should conservative, non-Hispanic white candidates waste any time on trying to get their vote.

We are all played by the political elites but it seems our black American voters are an especially easy mark for politicians with black skin.

I don't care whom someone votes for or how a group is played; I just wish no one who robs money through entitlement programs and does not pay into our tax system was allowed to vote. Our founders were specific that the folks who could vote were people who had paid into the government through taxes of some sort and they had a vested interest in how their money was spent. As it stands now, politicians buy votes through giving away our tax dollars and that is "legislated" stealing.

We need a poll tax and we need some kind of political IQ test to see if voters even know the names of their Senators and Representative at a minimum. We need to change the voting age to 25 and even though I am female, I don't think women should be allowed to vote at least not until they have paid taxes, passed a political text of some kind demonstrating that they know how our government works or is supposed to work, and are not on welfare.

It is disappointing to see how racist black American voters are generally speaking based upon group voting trends. Do they think Hispanic voters give a rat's behind about black Americans having their current racial advantages? Don't worry about non-Hispanic white voters, they are of little significance to politicians in the long run. Watch the "civil rights" change when Hispanic voters become the largest voting block.

I realize some of my comments about black American voters are generalizations and do not apply individually but 91% voting record rather speaks for itself.

The Victory Mosque and perhaps Islamic terrorist center or focal point seems to have a futuristic design that places the Star of David prominently in its facade design. I could not see any Christian Crosses within the design and of course no Star and Crescent were visible.

Mohammed says in the Koran tell the infidels whatever you must to advance Islam and that means lie and fabricate whatever you need to say to "pull the wool over the eyes of the infidel." It's there and no one can refute it. The followers of Islam are ordered to lie to unbelievers and those lies are "forgive" and expected to advance Islam.

This one directive alone, not to mention the kazillions of others, make it difficult for some unbelievers to trust any words, promises, or moderate statements that come from followers of Islam. When one tries to befriend followers of Islam, then one reads "take not Christians or Jews as friends."

How does the follower of Islam walk that tight rope or high wire of duplicity when trying to have friends among infidels and when trying to assimilate into a culture such as America's culture which is founded in individual equality before the law when Islamic law in and of itself places Muslim as second-class members of the society and treats unbelievers worse?

It is confusing and the problem Christians face which Jews may or may not face is that Christians are directed to "treat others as they would be treated?" "To love thy neighbor as thyself..."

Maybe my views are just simplistic where these issues are concerned but I cannot find a way to reconcile the different ideological belief systems. In Christianity, some of us have been taught that we have individual responsibilities to our families and to our nation yet the Islamic ideology, as I understand it, says the individual is subservient to the good of the group or the good of the tribe and the individual is of value to the ummah (sp) with on or few individual rights within that ideological structure.

It is Sunday night and just a little rambling here.

On the Victory Mosque at Ground Zero, we all know it will be nothing remotely like an inter-faith facility and the Muslims will be protected in their prayer, etc. in the lower levels of the building. The room which will be open to all people will be the top floor...

I can hardly help but be cynical here but that is convenient in the event that other Islamic fundamentalist terrorists don't do as well with their air plane gliding lessons as the 19 Saudi hijacker murderers did...

I apologize but as much as I want to have friends among the "moderate" Muslims I don't see how they can reconcile that facade of friendship with the teachings and directives of the Koran. There just isn't any wiggle room in "don't take Christians and Jews as friends."

If you can show me the wiggle room, please let me know...

How can I follow my faith when there is absolutely no "give" from the other side? How can you be kind to those who are taught to destroy all you believe in?

I suppose I can pray for the "infidels" (infidels works for those on either side of this divide) who want to destroy my way of life and try to set an example of kindness and love even when I know that as much as I want it to be otherwise, the Holy Book of Islam orders that we cannot come together a people at a human level and care for one another; the Koran gives strict orders against that possibility.

So why do we open ourselves to what can only be heartbreak?

Islam is one of the largest "ideologies" in the world in terms of membership so why does anyone who practices Islam have to move to the United States to practice his or her "faith?" Why do the followers of Islam find it necessary to colonize the United States and establish hundreds of mosques here when they are free to practice their "faith" throughout the world?

That cannot be said for Christians and Jews because they cannot freely establish churches or communities within nations that are ruled by Islamic law. Let me know when Saudi Arabia or Syria allows Christians and Jews from America to move into their nations, establish communities, and freely practice their religions.

STOP Sharia or Islamic Law from worming its way into our nation. Stop it cold. In the article mention is made about not using the term Islamist so as not to offend "moderate" Muslims. I'm not sure how that can happen. We have to find a way to discuss the crusade that has been mounted against us and Western Civilization generally.

I urge Americans to read the Koran and to see the hatred pouring out of the Koran toward we infidels. Also, keep in mind that about 60% or so of the Koran was taken from the Holy Bible with major omissions when it comes to the New Testament.

The driving directives from Mohammad are to destroy or convert the unbelievers. The Koran does have a clear directive that we in the West need to use. As France has outlawed veils or face coverings, we need to do other things such as outlaw the wearing of the burqa and cast it as a symbol of slavery and as a symbol of second-class citizenship used to remind women of their role within the totalitarianism that is Islam.

I find it interesting that followers of Islam use so many traditions that are clearly Jewish in nature.

Here are just a few:
   - the dress of Mary, the mother of Jesus - this dress was traditional and grew out of the Bedouin nomads for protection from dust, heat, and the burning sun; the burqa is NOT remotely related to an Islamic "religious" code;
   - the use of a head covering for Muslim men unlike the Jewish Yahmaka in design only
   - the beads or prayer beads used by Jewish folks, the 99 names for God beads used by Muslim men, and the Rosary used by Catholics. And of course there is the kosher food used by the Jewish folks from which the Muslim Halal food is derived.

Of course there are arranged marriages in both cultures.

I do not know enough about the Jewish faith to make all of the comparisons which exist but it is interesting to me that Muslims and Muslim leaders in the Middle East want to drive the Israelis into the sea saying that the land must be returned to its rightful "owners."

Well, with 4 to 5,000 years and more of Jewish traditions founded in what is now Israel and Islam being very new on the scene, I'd say the Jewish folks were there first and the Muslims under the sword of Mohammed and his merry bands of war lords took the land through the age old "rape, pillage, and plunder" model.

And then let's not forget the Crusades. Also we need to remember that Muslims were crusaders as well but to the first point. From the time of Christ until Mohammed and his boys got busy killing and converting folks the region of the Mediterranean was predominately Christian so it would seem that the Crusaders were trying to take the Holy Lands back from the Crusading war lords of Islam.

We westerners don't read or study much about the Crusades - we are in the middle or another phase of that never-ending war once again with the Muslims leadership seeing their time to take back lands they conquered such as Cordoba Spain.

In the Koran, Muslims or believers are directed to live where they find themselves accepted. When or if an area becomes inhospitable, they are directed by Mohammed to return to a place and environment that is more hospitable. So, what to do? Here are a few easy steps.

Make the wearing of the veil and the burqa illegal.
Recognize that Islam has within it the many faces and aspects of a theocratic tyranny that is ordered by the Koran as well to overthrow the governments of Western Civilizations. These aspects need to be recognized just as one would recognize a genuine threat to the survival of the host civilization and the parasite must be denounced as a threat and removed.

Immigrations laws need to be redefined and no one trying to immigrate from a nation that is hostile to our survival, that sponsors terrorists of any stripe, must be denied entry. As many such folks are colonizing nations which have traditionally been allies making importation easier, our laws need to be refined so that folks who are not historically indigenous to our allies should be denied entry.

Certainly no one from any nation that sponsors terrorists and that wants to drive our allies into the sea should be allowed into the nation.

And we clearly have lost our minds when we allow Mad Jad and Hugo Chavez to speak their tripe on the floor of the United Nations. These two men as examples although perhaps enjoyed by some of our leaders should not be allowed into this country for any reason and under any guise.

Not one more mosque should be allowed to be built in America or North of South America for that matter. They are not places of worship but rather they are focal points for safe havens for terrorists and for plotting and planning and implementing attacks upon our nation.

We do protect "freedom of religion" but any ideology that has as its goal world domination and the overthrow of our nation is NOT a religion.

Wake up, Americans and stop accommodating those who would destroy your way of life and who would have you bow to Allah and submit to Sharia authoritarianism. Islam is not compatible with America's Democratic Republic. No true Muslim can follow Mohammed's Sunnah

Roll up your sleeves, become educated, and be more and more vigilant and then put your foot down and say where is the ACLU to stop the encroachment into our schools but still it can be argued that Islam is not a religion and it must be stopped from being forced upon our children through our public schools.

In America today, some folks are more equal than other folks and followers of Islam have the "do what you want card" and no one will stop you so set up your precedents and our laws will bend over backwards to let you have access to our children.

At least educators in Texas are opening their eyes... and being vigilant when it comes to Islamic indoctrination in their textbooks.

As an aside, the Trinity is the one sin Allah will not forgive and for many of us, that is one issue that cannot be reconciled. Many Jewish folks do not believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God so that is another similarity within Islam and the Jewish faith.

On the subject of mosques being built in America. No more mosques should be sanctioned in America, not a question of "religious freedom" but a question of invasion and establishment of centers for terrorist activities.

We'll never be able to find out the answer to this question but where is the money for all of the mosques that are built or opened in America coming from: Saudi Arabia would be my bet and the Saudis practice Wahhabi Islam, the most violent and most actively anti-American form.

Make no mistake and be under no illusion: the attack was and is a marker of that Islamic jihad - Islam's crusade against Christianity that has been lasting for centuries...

As all hell breaks loose in Gaza, no surprise there, we have our own Qur'an burning here folks at home. See Drudge for the latest. He has a whole list of more pastors who plan to burn the Qu'ran tomorrow - 9/11. Is 9/11 going to be the dedication day for the opening of the Victory Mosque at Ground Zero????

Do these pastors no less think that will keep the Victory Mosque, commemorating the Islamic terrorists thrashing of America and bringing us to our knees,from being built.

Of course not. These acts of will just inflame feelings here at home and around the world and make Mr. Obama and Mr. Mayor Bloomberg just more resolute in ensuring that the Victory Mosque is built at Ground Zero in obeisance to Islamic success. It will increase tourism in NYC and make Ground Zero become the Mecca of North America. It will become a shrine to would-be Islamic terrorists or jihadists.

One day, we'll have to face up to the threat we face and we'll have to acknowledge that the threat is not new. It is centuries old and began with Mohammad when he got a few war lords together to sack, rape, pillage, and plunder camps and cities of the unbelievers - that would be Christians and Jews. Of course, that we all believe in the one true God is of no consequence.

Christians agreed that Jesus Christ was who He said He was, the Son of God, and we agreed in the Trinity that God manifested Himself and manifests Himself in three ways. I know we say "three persons" but for Christians He is still now and forever ONE God that we acknowledge His power and that we acknowledge Him as a dimensional being is the crux of the matter and it for that and only that that the followers of Islam have something to latch onto. It cannot be refuted for Christians and Islams followers won't let us have that one because the Qu'ran says, Say not Trinity.....

So there you have it. We'll either take a stand and say no Sharia in America or we'll have little pastors burning the Qur'an and placing all of us in jeopardy.

Pick the battles you can win and win well but for goodness sake don't add fuel to the fire and don't burn the Qur'an. What will that change except for putting the lives of Americans at risk.

Book burning is not an American battle tactic and burning the Qu'ran is just one more chance for us to play into the hands of the Islamists and let them wail and cry "victim" once more. We have to fight the hatred in the Qur'an and we do that by remembering and never forgetting that Islam is in an active crusade against the West and we must fight it every step of the way. Burning the Qu'ran may do it for you but that's not perhaps the best way to be vigilant and to fight the counter jihad. Your choice...

Ya wanna burn a book, how about Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. There are probably hundreds of copies of that gem in the White House and in Congress...

Burning Qur'an, City Council opens with Islamic prayers

Yes, we have lost our flipping minds. First a church in Florida plans to burn copies of the Qur'an on September 11 and then in Connecticut, a city council plans to begin town meetings with Islamic prayers or rather, prayers presented in the Islamic tradition. Hmmmm.... Will the ladies have to wear head coverings? See Drudge Report on these two issues. The prayers fits into the Sharia thing nicely because this city council has or does not mix church with politics and by bowing to or including the Islamic prayers, they will be very Sharia-compliant and they will remove church from politics entirely and make the meeting conform to the ideology of Islam which is the "state." This of course is not the same town but the same state that gave us Keslo vs New London where we lost our ownership of private property now that it can be taken by the city for whatever reason. The Victory Mosque at Ground Zero moves along probably with some of our money funneled here, there, or everywhere so New Yorkers will be proud. As we are scaled as Sharia-compliant or not and said to be very Sharia compliant, let's change the laws and make wife-beating no crime at all; let's get on board with the "kill the daughter who was raped parade" and allow sons and fathers to kill up to three but no more than three girls in the family before their (the father and sons) behavior hits "crime level." Some day, our backs will be against the wall and we'll stand together or we'll fall one by one. One the burning of the Qur'an. Shame on that pastor and his church members. I have read the Qur'an although only in English and of course there is much not to like and Sharia goes against our way of life but the question is is our way of life changing? Have the schools under the directives from Washington taken the foundation of our nation right out from under us as we entrusted our children to the dictatorship because we had to work with mouths to feed? Are we building a strong nation that has people who are not afraid to stand for their principles? The America I thought I knew may no longer exist and if that is so, then the men and women who defend us may be risking their lives for unfulfilled promises. It is like my heart is bleeding or weeping tears for our nation and for a dear friend who has met a terrible foe. The foe is dementia and the prognosis is not good - no home to return to and belongings gone because the grieving for the family is too much to handle - beyond speakable for a family to see their loved one become only a shell of the vibrant person who lived, laughed, and loved withing the now shrinking body. Do we have "collective dementia?" Do we know the words are right at our finger-tips but we just cannot manage to grasp them? Is our America an empty shell of what she once was? NO - not to me. I watch people when I am out and I see laughter and joy and goodness. That faith, God-centeredness that has made America so strong will hold us together as we meet the next few twists and turns the EU and a few of their fellow travelers here at home have in store for us. And we'll fight our way through any adversity; we'll help others when we can; and we'll keep our faith based in God, strongly based in God.

Anyone who wants to burn the Qu'ran has that choice but I'd recommend reading it, the Sunna, and Hadith so that we know the hatred that the teachings of Mohammad put out there and then we may better know the hatred the "enemy" has against us. Of course, their victimhood is an excuse for violence from an address by the Pope using actual history to the flying imams creating a situation to call attention to themselves.

If you can read the post at Atlas Shrugs, as well as some of the comments from well-known bloggers, and not experience a full range of emotion you are different than most.

It was difficult to read the post and to read the other material too.

Thank You to Pamela Geller and other bloggers for keeping the outrages of the terrorists who follow the directions of Mohammed and by extension, Allah, in front of us.

Perhaps many in New York City have forgotten the Twin Towers coming down, or forgotten that September day when their alarm didn't sound and they were late for work at the Twin Towers, perhaps New York City's mayor has forgotten the followers for Islam who murdered over 3,000 people on 9/11, attacked the Pentagon, and tried for the Capitol or the White House.

We need to be reminded that those dregs of mankind are the true followers of Islam; they didn't hijack anything.

I cannot comment on the followers of Islam who live in the West peacefully. Is it for a better life? Away from the rabid imams who taught the terrorists who follow the teachings of Islam.

Read the Koran; it won't count much if you read it in English because Arabic is superior but the message of killing those who put "another" god above Allah or who believe in the "Trinity" is clear.

The terrorists at Beslan did not, from my reading, go against the Koran; they followed it and there in is the root or branch of what faces us, all of us in the West.

A day may come in the West when those who follow the teachings of Islam and maintain that it is a "peaceful" religion instead of a political ideology will have decisions to make.

Thank you, bloggers, for giving honor to the men, women, and children who were the victims of such horrid dregs. Thank you for this brief time giving them life again across the internet for as long as they remain in our memory, they have life.

Ground Zero Mosque - Islamic War Base in America

The proposed Islamic community center at Ground Zero is arguably the FIRST Islamic or Jihadist Military Installation or Military Strategic War Planning Base in America or on North America on a grand scale whose founders may get funding from Saudi Arabia as well as Iran and may even be able to get funding from American taxpayers because they would be "restoring" a building that is 100 or 150 years old. Not certain about that.

All I know is that Mr. Osama Obama would do all in his power to assist the Jihadists without seeming to do so with our American tax dollars.

After all, our very own State Department under the leadership of Hillary Clinton on orders from her leader is using American tax dollars to send Rauf to the Middle East and across the United States probably on a fact finding mission to see how Sharia-compliant we are, to determine more clearly our weaknesses, and to drum up recruits for jihad.

Look at the "Mosque at Ground Zero" as we would look at a military base we would build at a site where we had beaten an enemy in battle. Is it any different?

The attack of 9/11 is the worst attack our nation has sustained on our own soil but it will not be the last although for the life of me I don't see why the Islamists should attack us violently again when they are being so successful using our laws against us.

Certainly and it will be. As mentioned here before, it would become the Mecca on the soil of North America and better yet on the soil of Islam's greatest victory, on American soil. It would become the Islamists war room for planning the overthrow of America and for planning and implementing the institution of Sharia Law across America one little precedent at a time.

Had Hitler bought a building or several in Manhattan just before WWII to establish headquarters under some ruse, would we have allowed it? Of course not. We would all have been up in arms that our leaders had lost their freaking minds.

Well, I'm here to tell you that the leaders in New York City, the mayor is afraid for his life, the historical commission who voted that a mosque could be built in the 150 year old building have brains full of mush, and our president and his press secretary who both say it is a local matter are idiots. The attack on the World Trade Centers, the attack on the Pentagon, and the failed attack on the Capital and/or the White House were NOT local matters.

Any building at or near Ground Zero, oh say within 2,995 miles either side, north, south, east, or west, is tantamount of an act of war. It is throwing down the glove and slapping us in the face with it, screaming "put 'em up' like Elmer Fudd, "we're going to drive you infidels down into the mud like the swine that you are..."

And frankly, we deserve no better if we allow this to happen. Gird your loins, Americans, and appreciate that our freedoms are being used against us and we cannot allow it to happen. Islam cannot be reconciled with our US Constitution and our Bill of Rights. A follower of Islam cannot honestly swear an oath to protect our US Constitution which means that no follower of Islam can serve as a president or as a Congressman.

I am in conflict here because I know followers of Islam serve our nation under very dangerous and conditions and love our nation. But I still have to ask where they would stand as Sharia were instituted one step at a time. Would they fight against it?

It would seem that the Mosque/community center or Islamists WAR Planning Facility planned at Ground Zero must have its license revoked and the property must be condemned and NY should NOT give or sell any more land for mosques in New York.

We must listen to Ms. Brim. We must become informed and we must STOP the Islamic War Planning Center any where that it would be built.

Imam Rauf and his fellow co-conspirators/traitors are heedy with excitement at their success. They are delirious over our ignorance and what they see as our stupidity. They cannot believe we are so easily deceived.

We MUST appreciate that many women especially who follow Islam live among us and they are victims too of that heinous doctrine of hatred and subjugation. Women United International is working for liberating women enslaved within Islam too. A friend said long ago that it was perhaps through the Muslim women that the change would come.

I think the change will come through our vigilance, our courage, our dedication to our freedoms and our not confusing tyranny cloaked as religion, and our taking a stand to fight and if needs be die here on our soil for the preservation of our freedoms and of our way of life.

The Islamists say that we are invading Islamic regimes but that is not so. America is being colonized; mosques and Islamic centers are on nearly every campus. That is where Ann Durham met Obama's father. With a Muslim father, there is absolutely no way that our president could not have been born a Muslim and he has said he will support or side with Islamic interests against ours.

Become educated; if you are a Christian love your Muslim neighbors and try to see them as mothers and fathers with families living with us side-by-side. For my part, I try to set aside what I have read in the Koran and on a personal level, I respect my neighbors. I cannot change what they have been taught. I can only be responsible for how I treat my neighbor and until or unless my neighbor whatever teachings he follows does not allow me to live in peace I will follow the admonishment of John, the author of the Gospel of John, "I tell you little brothers, love one another..."

I will work against Sharia Law in every way that I can on a local, state, and national level and through this little blog as I thank you for reading and for rewarding me for my time.

Sometimes there are just things you wish you had said even if you came up with the idea and for me it is this title of a post, from the Baron of course, Stop the Victory Mosque. How great is that for a title? And how correct. No doubt about it, the planned Cordoba Project/Initiative or Mosque at Ground Zero is a "Victory" shrine to commemorate the 19 terrorists who, true followers of the prophet, flew those planes into the World Trade Centers and into the Pentagon. [What is Cordoba - it is the name of a huge mosque in Spain that was build, as I recall, around 800 or 900 AD. It was build by Muslim conquerors over the site of the most religious shrine of Christianity in Cordoba Spain. I often wonder what would have happened if Todd Beamer and those other brave Americans on Flight 93 had bowed to the terrorists and been cowed knowing that their death was imminent; what would have happened had Flight 93 been successful and flown into the Capital building or the White House. Would we hear them then? What will it take for Americans to appreciate that we are facing the followers of an ideology the likes of which we have not seen since the days of Hitler - there, I said it. Europe is being over-run. In no time, Queen Elizabeth II will have no throne, Westminster Abbey could be a pile of rubble , and every cross in England could be ripped from the tops of churches and melted down. Sound radical? Sorry, it is not one bit extreme. The imams and folks that are known in the West as radical fundamentalist Islamists have freedoms they could only dream of in their wildest dreams in England. They can print literature that they want; they can work followers in mosques up into rage against the host nation; they can teach subversion of England's government to be replaced with Sharia, and they can do much, much more. In America, imams can enter our prisons and recruit from amongst our most unhappy citizens - unhappy because they chose a life of murder, rape, and assorted crime and then scream they are disenfranchised. But in America Islam appeals because it had its foundation in tribalism - the easy way out for the lazy because the individual bows to the will of the tribe and the tribe is the "collective" with all done for the good of the "tribe" with individual freedoms as well as responsibilities subjugated to the will and mores of the tribe. "The tribe made me do it." But there is comfort in the tribe because one is not accountable for his or her own well-being so one can wait for the tribe to meet his needs and so on and so forth.

Don't we have lawyers and judges loyal to America anymore or are they all soft jihadists; or perhaps just waiting to see which side wins.] As usual I digressed happily into a few other related topics. I know it is or can be laborious for you, my dear follower and reader friends, but I am so happy to be recovering from that serious fainting-fall with its attendant injuries that all occurred last February. Seems the only issue for me is a heightened "flight" response to fear brought on by a startling event. Sometimes ya gotta call it like it is and Newt Gingrich called it like it is. We have to stand up for the religious freedoms as well as the freedoms that we hold dear in our nation against an Islamic ideology that seeks to deny these freedoms to us and to everyone around the world.

Their intent is serious and they have demonstrated that they are deadly serious. The good news is that they tell us that they will take money from terrorist-funding nation-states that impose draconian Islamic law upon their people and that refuse to even allow a Holy Bible or a cross to be brought into their countries - that is how much they fear the word of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

We will be pushed against the wall and so I'll just get against that wall right from the get-go. I heard a lady who used to follow Islam say yesterday that a person could not be an American and a Muslim at the same time. If that is true, then let's just recognize the irreconcilable differences and go our separate ways with no more mosques in America and no more immigration from Islamic nations.

During WWII, would we have allowed Hitler's Nazi SS to migrate here and to colonize and establish camps in America? Of course not.

I am not comparing followers of Islam who cherish the freedoms we have here and that they enjoy here with the horrors of the SS. That would be absurd.

It is true that the tenets of Islam at its core are not compatible with our way of life. We have to face that and accept it and we have to appreciate also that the Koran teaches the dissembling and lieing to infidels for the advancement of Islam is accepted, expected, and encouraged by Mohammed.

Sadly, we will be forced to see truths that we would rather not see and face truths we would rather not acknowledge but we must stop all forms of jihad against us and against our way of life and against our liberties and we must stop this jihad without hatred and without racism and without discrimination. We must stop the jihad through laws of self-preservation and the securing of our liberties and the halting of any and all attempts at the infiltration of Sharia into our system even such seemingly innocuous items such as foot-washing stations at the University of Michigan and at the Phoenix International Airport and the stoppage of traffic or of work for the interruption of prayer five times a day which cuts into work time and which cuts into productivity.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When in America, accomodate to our way of life, don't try to change it. If our way of life is not compatible, then move to a location which is more compatible to the life-style you want.

In America, become an American. There is room for all of us but we have to be on the American page, not the page of Sharia...

It it time to scrap all plans for any new mosque and or "Islamic" center in NYC and especially within 3,000 miles of NYC and move it to Saudi Arabia or perhaps Mr. Obama's Jakarta.

In Ground Zero Mosque on the move? addressing a compromise, our leaders such as Gov. Patterson and others are still giving in to Islamists and the answer is NO.

We the people, our tax dollars, are paying to send the anti-American, Sharia Law pushing head of the Cordova Project to the Middle East as well as around the United States for God knows what Islamic Sharia Compliant boon-doggle.

Our State Department is Sharia Compliant as is our President and as is Mayor Bloomberg and Congressman King and Gov. Patterson as they search for property owned by New York state to give to the Islamists.

We have lost our minds. No Sharia, no more mosques anywhere in America, period. Followers of Islam are NOT seeking religious "freedom" and they are not seeking "political" asylum; they are colonizing the United States and they are seeking to build beach-head communities through which to establish Sharia law among other steps to curtail our liberties.

It is time for us to stand for our freedoms of religion and our freedoms or we will see those freedoms lost one step or one precedent at a time...

And and meanwhile our Sharia-compliant President born Muslim, supports mosque at Ground Zero while our first responders die, Obama focused on backing Islamists over our first responders.

If you want to see the proliferation of mosques throughout America and North America, just look up "find a mosque near your." If you want to have fun, give a zip code for another state or the name of a state in Mexico and you may as I was be surprised at the number of mosques that are sprouting up like weeds in a garden that once held freedom for all of us high.

Wait until the whiners among the Islamists move on their next cry of victimhood and say that the cross on the top of your church offends them and it must be removed. You think that won't happen?

No Mosque and No Compromise at Ground Zero Okay, fellow Americans, it's time to stand for freedoms, the freedoms of all of us in the face of an ideology that plans and promises to overthrow our government and our way of light, in the face of an ideology that promises to snuff-out that last beacon of light in the world and promises to usher in a world of darkness. Theses are not the "plans" of Islamists, the folks people are comfortable calling "radical Islamic fundamentalists" at their peril. These are not the plans; these are the promises and true to Mohammed's directives, they must tell us at least three times in order to give us a chance to submit. The Cordova Initiative is another "warning" or wake-up notification to the call and promise of Islamic world domination. in Are there "peaceful" Muslims who do not follow the directives of Mohammed and would allow the infidels - us - to practice our religions unmolested? I don't know and I don't know how they reconcile those directives with our freedoms as defined in our Bill of Rights. That is a conundrum I cannot answer. More learned folks than I can address that. I do not advocate violence or harsh measures against anyone who wants to live side-by-side with me in our great land but in America "your freedoms end where the tip of my nose begins" so if you profess to change my freedoms and supplant them with a draconian ideology of tyranny, then I don't see how we reconcile that. You either have to give up your desire to "save me" from my Trinity and my belief system and my U.S. Constitution or you have to be ready to live by my rules. From where I sit and from what I see you cannot compromise and I won't submit when I already have a God and His Son Jesus Christ whom I follow. I have a golden rule and true, Jesus said for us to "turn the other cheek" but I don't believe He said "put your head on a spit or for us to throw Him under the bus to submit to Allah. Theorists can yap and yap that the God of the Hebrews, of the Christians, and of the Muslims is the same by I'm not buying it and yes, I've read the Holy Bible. While many followers of Mohammed may life peacefully side-by-side in America, I don't see how they can follow the directives of "Allah" as reported by Mohammed and be either "true" adherents of Mohammed or "true" to the United States in a general sense. I appreciate the followers of Islam who have and do work for my country but I still have to ask, "When the Islamists institute Sharia one precedent at a time, where will the duties and oaths as well as loyalties of these folks take them when we find ourselves fighting for our very survival as a nation and as a civilization? I can't answer that...only my friend who told me what a great nation our country is can answer that... I'm for no mosque at Ground Zero because it has nothing at all to do with freedom of religion. Muslims are not oppressed in America; it can be argued that Muslims are colonizing America and changing cities slowly, Dearborn is one example. A mosque is bowing to Islamists and it is the supreme act of dhimmitude - payment to stave off more terrorist attacks. We have to understand that in Islam symbolism is everything. But first: from the Gates of Vienna, Less than Zero as Islam attacks us again, as Dymnpha says to soften us up and they will do it over and over again until we bow and surrender either stretching our necks for the sword or bowing heads for the yoke of tyranny with their tolerance for none. A mosque at Ground Zero is a slap in our face and it is a desecration of our values and principles of freedom and tolerance. A mosque at Ground Zero is not about "religion" or religious freedom, for God's sake, there are 100 mosques in New York City. And how many Churches or Jewish temples in Saudi Arabia? I can't wear a cross in Saudi Arabia and I cannot take a Bible into that country but mosques are popping up across our landscape like dandelions. When you see NYC blanketed in black burqas that the burqa is NOT a religious garment and did not derive from religion. It was an early garment of the nomads and today to me it signifies slavery and the enslavement of women. But the mosque at Ground Zero is like spitting upon the graves of all who died in the Islamic attack against our nation first responders and those who died as the planes hit or as they held hands with colleagues and jumped to their deaths hurdling for 110 floors above the pavement. A mosque at Ground Zero mocks us and is a form of humiliation; don't be fooled for one minute that it is somehow going to be a site of Interfaith understanding. Read the Koran and read where Mohammed says, "Desist, do not say Trinity...." Do no befriend Christians or Jews and say whatever you must to advance Islam. Wake up, Americans. Or you will be buried under the very tattered Constitution which has for so long protected our freedoms but now the enemy is within from the White House to the college campus and more. We are in the fight for our freedoms and for our lives and we must find a way to reconcile our own survival with our nature of advancing freedoms and tolerance. For now, I'm simply surprised that some organization hasn't filed a law suit to have us remove crosses from our churches. But I need not worry because that won't be necessary when those crosses are removed for being offensive... You think I'm wrong? Build the Mosque at Ground Zero and see it for what it is; a shrine to the success of the Saudi Arabian Islamists/jihadists trained at our own flight schools. We may come to the day when we say "enough is enough." Let's have a little parity here and we start building churches and temples in Saudi Arabia or better yet; let's get our own oil or energy sources. For the sake of our security and the security of New Yorkers, there can be no mosque at Ground Zero. It will become a place of pilgrimage to the jihadists and we will see fighting in our streets; we will be pushed to it because that is one of the methods of the jihadists. Push us to the wall and scream foul if we defend ourselves. There is no reconciling our Trinity with the dictates of Mohammed and there is no reconciling our secular law and our belief in the separation of church and state with an ideology where the state is the "church"/Islamic law. When the Iraqis voted for Sharia Law, I told friends that right then and there we had to move out of Iraq and let them have what they wanted but Islam is on the drive now for supremacy and supremacy is what they will have unless we say "enough is enough... you cannot twist our laws around our throats and strangle us with our own laws... A mosque at Ground Zero should be allowed when we build the first Christian Cathedral in Saudia Arabia, an event that will take place when Hell freezes over. Mosque at Ground Zero - Obama supporter of jihad against the West. The good thing is that imams and Islamists are ordered/instructed by the Koran to warn infidels at least three times about what they are going to do to us - ie, drive Israel into the sea... The goal is to provide a shrine to Allah, the merciful, for the success of the 9-11 jihadists who successfully attacked America on American soil. I was in charge of special programs at a university where I once worked. We had rented some facilities and dorms to young men from Saudi Arabia. Please don't lecture me about the "no alcohol" during Ramadan. One of our employees who had to clean up the dorms and empty the trash and such drove me over to show me what he was dealing with at the hands of our pious tenants. No American fraternity boys could have emptied as many bottles of hard liquour or vomited any more disgustingly than our pious and superior tenants. The behavior of the male students from Saudi Arabia during Ramadan and during other times of their stay showed me all I needed to see of the freedom they loved about our nation, freedoms which they or their leaders wish to destroy and replace with draconian laws that will include the famed "religious" police who forced young Muslim girls to die inside of their burning school... This is a tyranny supported by our leaders because every inch forward toward Sharia Law that Islamists are able to make will cause us to become more enslaved to them as well as to our leaders Socialism for lack of a better term. What will it take for us to say that an ideology in which the tenets must drive the adherents to work tirelessly to save us from the Trinity and to save us from our man-made laws of our U.S. Constitution is not acceptable; can we compromise with an ideology that has no room for compromise with our freedoms and our way of life? Are we colonizing Afghanistan and Iraq? No, we are not. We are not establishing "Christian Communities" within Iraq or Afghanistan. We are not building Christian or Jewish houses of worship in either of those nations. No, rather we spirit out of Afghanistan a former-Muslim man who had converted to Christianity. Why? Because when he was going to be executed by the government we helped establish in Afghanistan because he was an "apostate", we had to save his life. Our U.S. Constitution is not a suicide pact. We do not have to be enablers in our own demise. We must stop the jihad the is in place against us and that is using our laws to attack us but as Citizen Warrior says, we must stop this jihad without hatred, without racism, and I'll add without violence. We just have to say NO. No more mosques in America until we can freely build Christian and Jewish houses of worship in Islamic "lands". No, no more immigration of anyone who holds a belief system that stresses the eradication of our laws, our freedoms, and our way of life. In our early days, we had Ellis Island where people with diseases were kept until they got well or were sent back home. What insanity would allow anyone carrying the plague to enter our land and spread that death among us? We say or I read of "peaceful" followers of Islam. I read of political Islam, financial Islam, domestic Islam, spiritual Islam... and I read of radical fundamentalist Islam as though this is some virulent form of Islam such as ahabbism, the religion of Saudi Arabia. I read that the 19 hijackers of 9-11 infamy were fundamentalist followers or believers and yet from what I have read in the Koran and the Sunna, they were not fanatical; they were doing what they are told to do, following the directions of Mohammed. Are we nuts and have we lost our grounding? Yes. Our president says we are not a Christian nation but I submit that we are a Christian nation and that under any other type of nation, no government would allow the invasion of its nation by several divergent systems of belief that aim to overthrow our government and our nation. There are plenty of folks who live in America who follow Mohammed who are probably peace-loving and who relish the freedoms they enjoy here; the freedoms the women enjoy here; but one concern is will they see themselves and their freedoms being under attack as Sharia Law is put into place one precedent at a time or will they submit to the men who are the rulers of Islam today. The Islamists say that they must free we infidels from the man-made laws of our U.S. Constitution and replace those laws with the laws of Allah. I submit that we are a Christian nation whose judicial system is based upon our Ten Commandments and that our laws have grown out of our Christian and Jewish laws from our Holy Scriptures, therefore, we are living under God's law and we don't need our God-given laws replaced or usurped by a different set of God's laws which were passed on by oral tradition and were aborgated as circumstances changed. As Newt Gingrich asked, in so many words, will we stand for our freedoms now our will we be relegated to the ash heap of history. There is no mistake that Islam is in the ascendancy in the West but I believe that is simply because we are up against a scheme we have never faced before and we must get up to date because the push of this islamic Crusade for world domination will leave us bobbing like a cork on the crest of a wave lost in a vast sea... I am for non-violent action but we must be under no illusion. Islamists will push us into violence if they can and then say, "See we're victims." We must stop the jihad and we must speak for our freedoms and not allow our laws and our liberties to be used against us...

Islam's fight to destroy Western Civilization? Why?

During the past three or so years, I have been introduced to Gates of Vienna and I couldn't make heads or tails of what everyone was talking about because I simply had not read or studied enough. I read Bridgette Gabriel's Because They Hate and linked to the American Congress for Truth as well as other excellent sites such as Tundra Tabloid, Citizen Warrior, and others. I have to recreate the sidebar but that is another story for another day. I have read anti-Islamist literature and have recently read several books written by Islamic scholars. One of the books would make your head spin because it was like reading a book on dissembling to advance Islam but in both I have found a few kernels of truth. Briefly, Western Civilization must be destroyed because it is against God's law. Two items seem to be central to this notion. The Trinity - The first is that the word, Trinity, is not even to be spoke because it is a sin to mention it; the idea of a Trinity is to place a poly-theistic group of three gods above God. Where we Christians look at the Trinity as the ONE TRU GOD deciding to manifest in three forms - same ONE TRUE GOD - just different forms, Islam sees this as placing these three manifestations above their perspective of God. So, this is a rather fixed position around which there can be no compromise - period - or seems to be no room for compromise. Sharia Law - The separation of church and state as enshrined in our U.S. Constitution according to Islam is absolutely in violation of God's Law or Sharia Law as set down in the Koran. By having our judicial system based upon individual rights, freedoms, and responsibilities instead of on the laws of the Old Testament as an example, we have placed the law of man before the law of God. If one were to step back just a pace, one would know that our so-called secular law is based firmly upon our Judeo-Christian heritage coming from our 10 Commandments among other things. Much of the Koran comes from our Holy Bible and a review of Deutoronomy with its 613 laws conforms more with Koranic Law or Koranic Law seems to conform more with the early law of the Torah. Also, way back when, the Middle East was peopled with folks who were tribal for the basic need to survive and laws developed that were to support the survival of the tribe, not the individual within the tribe. Over the centuries, Western Civilization has turned that on its head with the focus upon the individual's freedoms and responsibilities - interestingly still for the survival of the tribe but with the individual as a known entity within that tribe. World domination by Islam - Islam is on the march in its largest and most "organized" crusade and colonization of Western countries ever. Within Islam, when or once that Muslims control or have conquered a nation or area such as Spain and then they are beaten back, their ideal and goal is to reconquer the area once held. Throughout America, Mexico, and Canada, Islam or Muslims are planting beach-heads and working to instill Sharia Law. Do not be under any illusion, the institution of Sharia Law, the laws of the Koran, is the goal and the submission of all of us to Islam is a driving force. We have to be vigilant; we have to read and study. Look at sites such at the International Alliance for Civil Liberties and also the Center for Security Policy. Go to Tundra Tabloids and The Gates of Vienna and read, read, read. In Islam, the Koran is the state; it is a theocracy every bit as lethal to our way of life as anything we have faced before. Don't take my word for it. Read what some of the Imams say; read their books and they will tell you. We may not want to believe them and their very words but is it delusion to reject their warnings to us; we reject their stated goals at our own peril. Admittedly, this is a simplistic view but the issue is complex. We need to know that Islam and Islamic leaders are committed to the cause of the world domination by Islam. It is not a joke; it is not a sometime thing; it is a belief that is every bit a life and death jihad as well as a cultural crusade. We are not colonizing Iraq or Afghanistan but Islam is colonizing Europe and North America as quickly as possible and using our freedoms to do it. Many Muslims enjoy living in our free and open society but the Koran does not allow the survival of that society. The current march of Islam is a crusade against the West; are we "down for the struggle" as Shirley Sherrod said of Mr. Obama that he was not? Well, are we down for the fight to be vigilant, see the International Alliance for Civil Liberties and Center for Security Policy? Are we down for the struggle to step up to the plate and keep our culture and our freedoms? Keep in mind that Islam is fundamentally tribal and in America at least, we have been reared to be people of individual responsibility to God, to honor, to duty, and to our country.

Mosque at Ground Zero - Ah, we ship of fools!

By approving the building of a mosque at Ground Zero, the commission in New York City, helped by Mayor Bloomberg, have aided and abetted the encroaching of Sharia in America. They have surrendered to Islam, bowed their heads before the bloody sword of Islam, and spit into the faces of the first responders and the men and women who were brutally murdered on 9/11.

They have the blood on their hands of any Americans who are killed by Islamic terrorists in the future. Read the tenets of Islam, of Sharia Law. Sharia Law is incompatible with our constitutional government but then so is our current administration and our current Congress.

I do not support violence nor do I condone it but by building the mosque complex at Ground Zero, terrorism, violence, conquest, martyrdom, murder of infidels is condoned and encouraged.

We are on a "ship of fools" who have lost our way; we have forsaken our God; and soon we will be crying in the wilderness of our own creation brought about by our apathy and our slavish adherence to "political correctness" and the notion of moral relativism between or among cultures. Stoning women and girls to death is not morally equivalent to protecting women from their rapists or from their abusive male batterers.

Have we lost our minds?

Don't worry. God will have a way to call us to reckoning for our persistent denials. Tolerance is not sacrificing the lives of men and women who have died in service of this country and its freedoms to the arrogance of an intolerant ideology that wants to destroy you and your loved ones. There is no tenet in the Qu'ran that says "love thy neighbor as thyself." Muslims are told not to befriend Christians and Jews; they are further told to lie and dissemble to the infidels to advance the cause of Islam.

We will or may well come to the day when we regret ignoring the voices of many such as the Honorable Geert Wilders or Newt Gingrich who tried to warn us and yet we did not listen; we may come to a day when we will be forced to stand for our freedoms and to deny and remove Sharia from this land.

It is my understanding that Sharia advocates killing homosexuals - so no marriages there I would suspect; no Christian churches are allowed to be built in Saudi and no existing churches can be repaired; women who are raped are often executed under Sharia Law; women are beaten routinely by their husbands and daughters are stoned to death. Women are cloaked in the garb of slavery, not a religious artifact by the way; they are not allowed to drive and are not allowed to leave their homes unless accompanied by a male relative.

Can you remember the image of that lone woman in Afghanistan dressed in a pale blue burka who was taken out of a truck onto a soccer field and shot in the head with a pistol.

That is the image of a manly man imposing Sharia Law upon a defenseless woman. So much for women's rights under Sharia Law. What rights?

So, go ahead and encourage a shrine to the Islamic terrorists of 9/11 who flew those planes into the Twin Towers for that is what the mosque will be, a shrine to their memory. And to the notion of building bridges between faiths - ask the people of Cordoba or Israel.

Oh, we on that "ship of fools" sailing away from our principles, sailing away from our shining city on a hill watching the lights dim as we turn the lights off.

The last one out doesn't have to turn out the lights. That will be done for you because if you allow Sharia Law to overthrow this nation, we will enter an age of darkness the future of which one can only hazard to predict.

I still have faith in Americans that we will come through this temporary loss of our brain cells but I have compassion for the citizens of New York City whose Mayor and Council on Historic Buildings has, by bowing to Islam, opened you to more attacks and has invited Muslim terrorists into your city to the new "mecca" at Ground Zero. It is submission from fear and that is all right with the Islamists because submission is the goal, submission, fear, and loss of courage.

It is an age old crusade of Islam against Christianity and it has been going on for centuries. The tide ebbs and the current flows this way and that with one gaining ascendency over the other. Now the stakes are very high because to the Islamists the time is now and the place is "HERE." They have rolled out the template in Europe and they have seen that liberalism is a perfect playing field of "victims." They use the same ploy; create the crisis; and cry victim status in the face of the response. And then establish no-go zones in or around Paris where the police will not go into Muslim enclaves. Is that what we will be establishing in New York City at Ground Zero, a Muslim Enclave where the infidels will not be welcomed or allowed to go?

In Islam, everything is symbolism and a mosque at Ground Zero is symbolism in big red neon flashing signs. It will be built at your own risk.

We are a nation of laws and there must be laws that would keep such an indecency from being built. By the way, let's pass a new law - not one more mosque in America until Christian Churches can be built and maintained in Muslim countries.

We need to start looking at Islam as an ideology whose goal is world domination much like another ideology or tyranny of the middle 1900s. There is no difference - in both cases one goal is the eradication of the Jews. Sound familiar?

Never forget this honor killing occurred in America, Please don't tell my father. Pamela Geller reminds us again that we have collectively lost our minds and our sense of morality to be replaced with mind-numbing "moral equvilancy". All cultures and mores are not the same people.

Recently in America a judge with "stupid" printed on his/her law degree ruled that a Muslim man could beat and repeatedly rape his wife because he was acting on the tenets of his "religion." The case was over-turned when heard by judges whose brains had not been turned into cottage cheese through the narcotic of "political correctness" and moral or cultural equivalency.

Hell, yes, we can and must make "value" judgments. It sounded good and so arrogant in under-graduate school when students would smirk and tell each other they were making moral or value judgments. Unfortunately that equates with or has turned many in our judicial system sitting in long black robes, burka-like, into oppressors of an era when common sense was thrown out and replaced with insanity.

We have voter-nullification and voter-disenfranchisement when one judge, appointed not elected and not beholden to the people can spit in the face of we the people and leave we the people open and vulnerable to the crimes from illegals who are enabled by our own government. And in the case of the Muslim woman who was left defenseless at the hands of a brutal husband, all of the years of trying to protect women can be washed away with the ruling of a "red diaper doper baby" judge who says the man is okay because "his religion" let him do it. At this rate, the honor killings/such as the murder of two sisters in Dallas, Texas, gunned down by their father would be considered justifiable and not punishable under our laws because Shariah Law would take precedent. You see, it is not the Constitution the Islamists want to change; it is just the passage of a precedent here or there such that you would hardly notice and whamo! your liberties are gone 'cause Shariah said it's expected that infidels should be killed then we wouldn't need GITMO...

We have come to a twisted, hairpin curve in the road between sanity and insanity. Unless we start digging in and seeing the "creeping Shariah" for what it is, insanity will be the result. Kagan supports Shariah Law - can't sit on the bench

Elena Kagan supports Shariah Law and when / if she is placed on the Supreme Court of the Untied States we will have the camel's nose not only under the dent but stuck in the pudding.

In an editorial from Dick Morris,Kagan promoted Shariah Law at Harvard, Morris makes the case for why Senators should not allow Kagan to have a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court.

In addition to Morris' case regarding Shariah Law, he also points out that she stated that she favored many ideas and laws that were international in nature; putting some of them well beyond the tenets of our U.S. Constitution.

When / if Kagan becomes an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, we will never get rid of her and when she swears to uphold our laws she will be lying through her teeth much as Ruth Gingsburg did and has shown herself to have done by basing her judgments upon international laws. Chief Justice Roberts made it clear that a justice cannot base rulings upon international laws that pertain to other nations because we have no point of reference or jurisprudence about how another nation's laws came into being; we don't have the case law and our justices are supposed to and swear to base their decisions upon our American case law and upon the guidance of our U.S. Constitution.

Additionally, Shariah Law or Islamic Law taken from the Qur'an is directly opposed to our constitutional law... Contact your Senators and ask them to vote against Kagan and to vote for America.

A congressman said recently that this administration - the federal government can do most anything in this country - with no restrictions so the only possible chance we, as a people, have is to elect a Republican Congress and Senate in November so that we can impeach him for "high crimes and misdemeanors". I think supporting racism and racial strife among the people as well as failing to defend our citizens within the country or at our borders suffice to make him impeachable.

No wonder they have such distain for the American people.

And while you may be howling that Bush was not a strong defender of our borders, I called for his impeachment as well on the same grounds...

Our government has not just recently "become our enemy; the enemy of the people." It has been a long time coming and a long time developing into a stance of approach-avoidance when it comes to protecting American citizens from crime committed by illegals, from death on our highways, and from areas of OUR nation that are marked with signs that the government cannot protect you beyond a given point.

Two classes of citizenship in Kiwi Land

It is not funny; it is the way of the world and I would not presume to understand a thing that is going on in New Zealand but a comment struck me as curious that with what is going on in New Zealand may lead to "two classes of citizenship" in New Zealand and that indigenous folks may be able to veto acts of Parliament.

Well, in America today, we have so many classes of citizenship that it is hard to keep track.

Everyone can claim some sort of "victim" status and some sort of oppression from the dreaded "white man" from whom the government is determined to exact the last pound of flesh and drop of blood possible even up to and possibly including the denial of health care given age, gender, and illness - but that is perhaps to come later...

The lowest class of citizen on the totem pole in America today is the man who is paying for everything, the white male - the one working, bleeding taxes with every breath, and being whipped by the racist administration and its lackeys in government and out of government. The avowed racists in and lately in the government who have abused their power to punish white people...for being white.

The best thing for white people to do in America today is find one drop of non-white blood in their system going back to pre-historic times and call themselves a minority or realize their progeny are in danger of eradication and starting having children...

On the humorous side - and it is funny to watch:

The NAACP, ever easily played, is now becoming a pawn for the Muslim American players; the so-called black Americans don't know their ship has sailed and except for pockets of local power they are no longer seen as much of a player on the national political scene; and the Hispanic-Americans and their non-racist groups such as La Raza which means, the Race, are now the power brokers behind and in front of the scenes in politics.

For fun look up the Progressive Caucus, the Black Caucus, and the Hispanic Caucus in Congress and see which of the same folks belong to the first two. At one time the Progressive Caucus, I think this is correct, was an arm of Socialist International but that could have changed now, at least on the surface.

Throughout America we have victim groups fighting for political clout and it seems that the only identifiable group that doesn't have a group because they bought the idea of "individual rights before the law" (suckers) are the "white folks."

Everybody else that can find any complaint or grievance against the "white man" who has financially supported - through legislated theft - every group with a grievance has watched these groups turn themselves into "tribes" of some sort all screaming and shouting for their pound of flesh or oz. of blood.

And white women voted for the anti-American president and his racist administration and thus have only themselves to blame if their husbands, sons, brothers, uncles, fathers are unemployed. They made themselves victims of their own lack of due-diligence when it comes to researching the man who would be king or dictator, whichever way you want to cut it.

What does this have to do with the situation in Kiwi Land - everything. In America today, apartheid is the overt or covert racism against so-called white Americans.

Everyone takes precedence over them unless you're a member of a union :)...

Frank Gaffney, Jr. has a good piece for us to consider as the plans for a mosque at Ground Zero move forward. On the outside, the chant for "interfaith" understand is like a lullaby to our tolerant ears because that is what we wish it could be - like the woman going through a divorce after having been beaten for years by her brutal husband. She prays "oh if only things could be better, he'd change..." Her prayers in vain because at his core his belief system tells him that she is weak and worthless and deserves his beatings."

At their core, the Islamists know that we are weak and deserving of whatever treatment can be inflicted upon us. To them, our attempts at "talking" are demonstrations of our abiding weakness and our internal corruption, our lack of faith in our God and our lack of internal courage.

Shariah is no less toxic when it comes to the sorts of democratic government and civil liberties guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. According to this legal code of Saudi Arabia and Iran, only Allah can make laws, and only a theocrat can properly administer them, ultimately on a global basis.

But for Islam and Shariah, one and the same thing, the change in America would be incremental, just whatever we would tolerate in small doses. We are already involved in Shariah Finance through our "world banking" practices. But Shariah Law would be the example of the taxi drivers in Michigan refusing to take passengers who had alcohol in their possession because it offended the taxi drivers. The Muslim Brotherhood pushed that and it only went so far. On another point, we now have foot washing stations in the Phoenix International Airport and in the University of Michigan as concessions to the followers of Islam as a religion practice. Would acceptance of 'honor killings' be tolerated? They are arguably part of the established practice. But the need is not to go to that extreme; just one tiny incremental step at a time on any issue we would consider innocuous would start the slow steady precedent toward our submission of Shariah Law. But Kagan kicked American military recruiters off of Harvard's campus while at the same time she accepted and encouraged militant recruiters for the Saudis. And where is the money coming from for that mosque at Ground Zero? Any guesses from the Saudis with money we have paid for oil. It is my understanding that in the furtherance of Wahhabbism - a most virulent form of Islam - Saudi is building mosques all over America for the recruitment of spiritual converts? Not my guess but rather as safe havens for potential terrorists.

Is Sharia Law alive and well and even encouraged in New Jersey?

According to the ruling of a judge in New Jersey that a Muslim man was following his religious precepts in raping his wife, NJ Muslim husband rapes wife, judge sees no sexual assault because of husband's religious precepts, by extension would honor killings of rape victims as part of Sharia Law be considered okay as a religious precept? There is no place for Sharia Law within the United States unless of course the judges ruling reflects the view that women and wives are chattel of their husbands and families and deserve rape and then murder. That this case even had to go to an appellate court to be rectified could reflect how far we have gone down the slippery slope of multiculturalism and the belief that all cultures are equal, they are not. A culture hiding behind "religious precepts" to brutalize and even murder women rape victims is certainly a long way from a culture that has built itself upon the notion that all people are equal before the law and that same culture that has been working to embed that belief system throughout its history. Maybe the judge in the case simply believes that women are the possessions of their husbands and may be raped, beaten, locked up and abused by their husbands at will. In America, we have laws that protect animals far more than women are protected under this husband's religious precepts. I'm sorry but the "my religion allowed me do it" defense shouldn't work in America. We ended slavery for all of our people years ago and any "precepts whatever their source" that enshrine the slavery and abuse of women should not be allowed to exist in America.

I have to ask myself what type of society in the 21st Century kills a young woman because she was raped? A civilized society? A society that defends women against rapists? Or is it a backward society that in true Orwellian speak, kills a young girl in an 'honor killing' because she was raped? It would seem that a society that honors its young girls and women, a society that as Arafat said, "will use the womb of its women to take over the world", would protect them and not have the somewhat twisted notion that killing a rape victim somehow restores honor to the family whose daughter has been raped. But not in the Islamic view or so it seems based upon the behavior of some of its members. The rape victim is the one who has defiled the family honor. That is twisted. It would seem that the person who murders the victim of rape is the one who steals the honor of the family; it would seem that the cultural system that sees the murder of the rape victim is perhaps the twisted mind-set. How severely are women brutalized within the Muslim culture or is that only a myth?

Under the Treaty of Lisbon, the EU has established its European External Action Service, the EEAS which appears to be a common foreign policy and common security service that would, independent of EU nations, establish a service whose mandate is to

support the High Representative, who is also a Vice-President of the Commission and the President of the Foreign Affairs Council, in fulfilling his mandate to conduct the Common Foreign and Security Policy ("CFSP") of the Union and to ensure the consistency of the Union's external action.

This seems to me to signify that the EU EEAS will establish common policy for the defense and for the foreign policy for the EU. The EU is moving more and more into a "super-state" or nation with lesser states as the "once independent nations which now comprise the EU give over more and more of their autonomy to the EU layers upon layers of courts, services, and agencies. As a novice in this area, it seems to me that the United States will be forced, if not so already, to treat with and negotiate with the EU as a "super-nation" instead of treating with individual member nations so that the formerly independent nations that comprise the EU will or are becoming more and more like states within the United States or vassals to what we call the "federal" government. Does this EEAS mean that member states of the EU will be giving up their independent foreign policy departments and deferring to the foreign policy established by the EU's High Representative? What does that spell for us in terms of NATO and other such treaties, alliances, and agreements we have had with European nations?

Yikes, Great Britain has finally realized that, in health care at least, centralized, socialism of health care is cumbersome and costly to the government and to the citizens in loss of care. Britain may decentralize health care. Britain Plans to Decentralize Health Care. Maybe, as in politics "all politics is local", all medical care needs to be local giving doctors and patients a chance to determine their care. From the article by Sarah Lyall,

Let's hope that socialism will be on the reverse and Americans will see a lessening of regulations designed to control our lives from cradle to grave and designed under Obama Non-care to push us into early graves. Keep in mind that when the government using tax dollar "pays for your health care", that same benevolent government has nothing by keeping you alive. Obama Administration Racism: Sherrod

I realize that Sherrod used the power and authority of her government position in the Agricultural Department in the 1980s to discriminate overtly against a farmer because he had white skin. Never mind that he is an American. She also used the phrase, "his people", code for white people because she no doubt uses "her people" to refer to people with black skin.

White people have been duped since the Civil Rights era to buy the line or belief system that they are the only ones who are or can be "racist." Clearly with the NAACP, the new Black Panther Party, Vance Jones, and Ms. Sherrod, racism in the Obama administration directed at white people rampant. It is "got after whitey and make him pay."

Enough already. We have paid and paid dearly for this multiculturalism and for the destruction of our educational system. I can say from personal observation though that many of our children regardless of the color of their skin are not receiving anywhere close to the educations we are paying for them to have access to.

A few years ago, if one looked at the welfare programs we had for the "disadvantaged", our national debt equalled the amount of money we were paying into worthless programs. I consider the WIC program beneficial for some as many of our Native American families have benefited from that program as well as other programs for aid to dependent children.

The one thing I like about the racism of Ms. Sherrod is that she admitted it and told of her abuse of office. Good for her. She's a racist looking our for "her people" and she says so.

I would only remind folks that when the twin towers went down the joy of the Islamists was that Americans were killed, whether "her people" or not. The idea was to kill Americans because we are all seen as infidels. Just a day or so ago, I read an article that showed the NAACP in bed with a Muslim American group. According to the Islamist 20 year plan, one of their goal in their steps to overthrow America is to 'hoodwink' black politicians to advance the Islamists' goals.

It is somewhat unsettling that our president supports racism in his White House and so with our "post racial" president, it seems we are becoming more distracted than ever.

With health care designed to deny us care, we should all be worried but white skinned people more it seems to me. Our heads are on the chopping block and if one were a conspiracy theorist, one could say that the goal is to eradicate our ethnic group.

So where is the National Association for the Survival of White People? Not the neo-Nazi stuff, just the average folks that know that their way of life and their lives are threatened.

But for Ms. Sherrod, good for her. She called herself out for her own blatant racism and abuse of power in her taxpayer funded job. Does she belong in any government job, no. But if one cleared out all of the overtly racist, anti-white folks throughout Obama's administration, D.C. would probably be empty.

Remember, the Islamists don't care what "race" you are. If you are an American, their goal is to kill you so in this case, the president better be looking out for all of "his people" which goes beyond skin color and starts and stops with Americans.

He just asked a question and a few parasites didn't think much of the answer that would probably have fit them... The writer of the article did a cute thing with words implying that the man's sign was incendiary speech which would cause others to rebel, etc. Well, a few certainly did. They rebelled against the man's right to free speech, how? They vandalized his property. Good plan that proves his point. Don't you just hate it when that happens. I do when I'm caught in a "gottcha" moment. The man said in so many words, "Are you a producer or a parasite?" Looks like the parasites didn't much like being called out.

Okay, but when are we going to fight Islamic terrorists before they get here? And when are we going to stop letting them enter the nation as illegal immigrants coming across our southern or northern borders; and when are we going to stop allowing male Islamists into our nation to attend our best universities - taking spaces that Americans could fill - so that they can better learn our culture, our language, and develop their extended networks? It would be nice if the administration would fight international terrorism first as well as not let Afghani military personnel loose within our nation... Our "homegrown terrorist" are few and far between if you mean white folks, black folks, and Hispanic folks to include anyone classified as a "minority". Of course, we have a few of the Bill Ayers variety born to wealth and privilege and the terrorists who may or may not have been born in the USA but are now here legally but follow the Islamists whose teachings hold that they are to kill the infidels - that would be us. Okay, we have a few American-born terrorists who have become disillusioned about the abuses of some in power but those "terrorists" are very few, so few we cannot count them in any meaningful way. Yes, there was Timothy McVeigh but have you ever seen anyone captured, tried, and executed faster than you can say "Scat Cat?" No one imprisoned in GITMO that's for sure. Yet, we have a government that allows Saudi Arabia to sprout Wahhabi mosques like dandelions to foment anti-Americanism and hatred against us and our way of life AND we have an Attorney General who courts the anti-American Islamists' groups. As Rahm Emmanuel says, "don't let a crisis go to wast" and then doesn't say, but if you don't have a crisis, create one somehow or turn something into a "crisis." Our present administration seems to abhor our "freedom of speech" and certainly any criticism we may express about the administration and its policies. Keep in mind that these restrictions against any of our "freedoms" cuts both ways and can be abused by any political administration that finds itself in power. We must be vigilant and we can't allow these abuses that on the surface seem to "make sense" until you look deeper. Monitoring the Internet: does that mean our blogs on both sides of issues, our e-mail, and what about our use of the Internet at the local library? Our comments left at blogs or news articles. Oh what a tangled web of restraint and power over our Internet communications would ensue. And would we ever have again that classic fax from Tiananmen Square of that lone Chinese man facing down the tanks of the Red Chinese. To me that is the most striking picture of that decade and maybe even this past century. In "real time" we saw that lone figure facing death in the face of over-reaching power in a square that was soon to run red with the blood of the powerless Chinese protesters. Back to... If you have the time or choose to take the time, take a look at the comments made at the article linked in this post. Some are worth your time and demonstrate why Ms. Napolitano and her overlords would want the Internet "monitored." I think they do that already but any such move demonstrates how much the administration, or any administration, fears the American people, not the Islamist terrorists where the danger is. According to Ms. Napolitano, "Fighting homegrown terrorism by monitoring Internet communications is a civil-liberties trade-off the U.S. government must make to beef up national security," the nation's homeland security chief said Friday. To me, a nation that does not secure its borders is not a nation. And they see denying our freedom of speech in the internet as a "TRADE-OFF". Are these folks eating those cakes of "Alice in Wonderland" fame? In a distant time when the U. S.Constitution was taking form and had meaning, a wise man said, "If you are willing to give up freedom for security, you will end up having neither." Benjamin Franklin. The U.S. government officials sworn to protect our U.S. Constitution may believe eroding our Bill of Rights is a trade-off they must make, but I don't think so. It would just be the development of another cottage industry and it would end with more Americans being given jobs at taxpayer expense to have Americans spying on other Americans. If anyone believes that the government gives two figs about a "trade-off" and our freedoms as expressed in the Bill of Rights, relax. The only things standing between the current administration, and any power-mad administration for that matter, and total control over us are the things they haven't thought about controlling yet. Or things that they will control through other existing, newly passed legislation. I'm not sure when the government really began to fear "we the people" but they have for a very long time and it isn't a pretty sight. Look at all the ruckus you Tea Party folks started... :) But rest easy; the fear of "we the people" didn't begin with you. It stems from leadership or leaders who lack confidence and experience and who probably suffer from insecurity complexes. Who knows... But government fear or distaste for "we the people" will create more jobs... To the matter of today... You good fathers out there, you know who you are; have a great Father's Day with your families. And love your children and the mother of those children. Teach them in the way they should go and they will seldom falter. If they slip from time to time, they will come back to the tenets you have instilled in them and they will emulate your example. I made a mistake today and failed to wish a friend from long ago a happy father's day. I was afraid to do so and the error was mine. Teach our children our U.S. Constitution and if you are so inclined, look to a strong Bible-based church for a church family. A friend said that Mr. Obama had stated in his recent speech from the Oval Office that we needed to return to having God in our lives. If that is true and he said that, good for him but while the far-left may think we have left God, we have not and more importantly, God has not left us. We may have some things to answer for but we can set things right. We are Americans and we can agree to disagree with each other on issues but we must hold firm at the bottom line which is God and Country. Some say it is "God, family, and country." As Americans, the radical Islamists don't draw distinctions about whom they want to kill. We need to remember that we are all their targets, all of us regardless of ethnicity, gender, religion, or anything else we use to distinguish or identify ourselves. About monitoring the Internet to keep Islamic terrorists from recruiting Americans as terrorists; here's one humble suggestion. Don't allow radical imams to recruit in our prisons. What a foolish practice. Wouldn't that cut out the government's fear-based need to infringe upon the rights of all of us through monitoring the internet and our e-mail?

Obama blames BP. Sorry, folks, that's certifiable and nuts! I have worked in nuclear power for many years and I know first hand that there are procedures and protocols for everything and for every emergency possible to predict. Now, it is true that emergency operating procedures cannot plan for all mitigating circumstances but they can plan for many. BP had an industrial accident. Yes, people died and wildlife are boiling to death before our very eyes so much so that you can't watch it from the sheer futility of it all but "deep water drilling" down a mile has got to be dangerous on all sorts of levels. And maybe BP has some accountability. I haven't seen the procedures in place and I haven't seen the repair requests, and all of the rest of it. But this is an excuse for Maxine Waters to do what she said she wanted to do and that is nationalize our companies and our energy producers. If you think they'll kill us with their heinous "health care" death panels, wait till you see what they do to what was once American industry. At the moment without an excuse they are driving business out of our nations and with the regulations driving out jobs too. I have seen first hand the result of a major industrial accident during which 5 men lost their lives but it was an industrial accident that could have happened at any chemical industrial plant and does happen. Working in big industry is dangerous and anyone who works in such an environment knows how dangerous it is. You take your life into your hands each time you cross into the industrial side of a plant. If BP was remiss and poor procedures or protocols led to this accident, well, let the bosses swim with the pelicans we see on TV suffering helplessly. But let them pay in kind, not in money alone - that just hurts stock holders and their life savings too. But no, there is a bigger agenda here and that is the total destruction of American industry and business either through draconian regulations or "nationalization." Obama said he was responsible but that is ridiculous. The Congress is responsible for lack of oversight just like the Congress was responsible for the bank issues through lack of oversight, a.k.a. Barney Frank and Chris Dodd... Hey, let's put them in charge of a panel... but blaming BP. Not the way to go. I'm still wondering why our cigarette companies still are incorporated here and still sell cigarettes here. They can close-up shop and sell to the Chinese and never see a loss of one dime in profit and they won't have to deal with our Congress' regulations. I heard a funny thing on the radio today. A caller to a station called in and he said, he didn't think Obama meant he'd know which ass to kick... What he meant was that he'd know which ass to kiss. I know our allies if we have any are laughing themselves silly drinking their wine to mask their stark raving fear if they need military support from the current administration. And our enemies - no doubt they are shaking in their boots... Well, the good news is Jimmy Carter can now move up the list from worst president in our history to next to worst. Comforting or... Obama can be impeached with the next Congress and join Andrew Johnson and our first black president, Bill Clinton, as the third American President to be impeached. Naturally, he wouldn't be booted out of office just like Clinton wasn't... I wonder who's controlling Mr. Obama...

What was once America is not a sovereign nation according to the man acting as the president of our former sovereign nation. If our president says we are not a sovereign nation defined by borders, then how can we have a government as established by our U.S. Constitution as we are not a sovereign nation as stated by our president. So, what kind of charade are they playing in Washington, D.C. the so-called capitol of our non-nation? How can a former nation, founded upon the basis of laws, survive under a "president" who says we are not a nation? How can we do anything but decline...internally within ourselves and certainly as viewed by nations that are sovereign. God help us and yet... In Israel faces international fury over flotilla headed for Gaza we find more concerns for Israel and the Middle East... ...the push begins from Iran using any diversion and Mahmoud Ahmadinejdad to push Israel into a corner of self-defense. with the Islamists using any ploy possible such as sending a flotilla toward Gaza to establish an arms-smuggling corridor. According to Deputy Foreign Minister David Ayalon the successful landing of the terrorists and the establishment of a beach-head in Gaza would be the first major step for the Islamists to establish a "corridor of arms-smuggling." One can understand Israel defending itself back in the days when "war meant war" unlike today when our policies seem to assist the drug cartels establish and strengthen their drug smuggling routes and routes for human trafficking tossing in a few arms into the mix. But how many remember the USS Cole, the Twin Towers and more? My, whom pray tell are those arms to be used against - other drug smugglers? Ask the ranchers and regular law-abiding American citizens along our southern border, ask them when they bury their murdered dogs, check their homes for theft and so forth. Well so was the attack of the USS Cole and other outrages carried out by the Islamist terrorists. Coming to America to meet with Obama will only subject Netanyahu and Israel to insult and verbal abuse of a larger scale. Israel knows who the enemy is or who their enemies are. We in America remain veiled as we continually refuse to take the Islamists threats seriously. How can we as a people be a nation and not be a sovereign nation at the same time as viewed by those in power and so described by our president among those who took an oath and swore to defend our sovereign nation and uphold our U.S. Constitution. How can we hold ourselves together before the inevitable chaos begins? We can do it together by not falling for the "race-baiting" and other schemes to push us apart. However we can do it as we must buy finding a church home in the towns within which we live; by being vigilant and becoming more aware of the chains that are beginning to encircle us such as Cap and Trade for one; obeying our laws as best as we can, local, state, and federal... I am naive when it comes to the Middle East but I know young Iranians was a democratic republic. I think he would only strike you if he baited you into striking him first. Since you are wise to his games, you know better how to deal with him. For the current US administration to give you assurances they would veto or vote against the UN nuclear move that would impact you, and if one were to believe that, I think our president said in one of his books which I refuse to purchase, that he would always stand with Muslims against non-Muslims. That should be your answer as to the strength of his alliance with just about anyone while Americans generally support you. Every Western nation or NATO nation would do well to be on their toes and work more together with you for the safety and protection of all of us. Roland Garros; Memorial Day; and me...

Roland Garros - getting down to the last week and what a week it has been. It is just so refreshing to watch folks work at their craft who are devoted and dedicated and who are not "thugs" from Chicago. My apologies for my friends in Chicago who honorable folks and blasting away at the "thugs" every day. I turn to pro-tennis because it is just such a change from the madness of the media. I even read where Nancy Pelosi actually blamed former President George W. Bush for the oil problems in the Gulf. I wonder who she thinks made the laws or legislation and now our Supreme Leader who wants to take us off of foreign oil - ho, ho, ho - won't let us drill off shore. Of course, he doesn't want us off foreign oil. What would the super rich kingdoms and such in the Muslim World do without our Yankee dollars. If he wants to take us off of foreign oil, isn't a tad hypocritical to have our service men and women buying Citco gas for their cars on Navy bases. Or is it Citgo. Whichever, it is oil coming from the Islamist fundamentalist supporter Hugo Chavez. Yes, let the Military who are fighting terrorist, pay hard-earned dollars supporting the close friend of the White House, dictator Hugo Chavez who has set the model for turning his position from "president" to dictator. It is model even a follower of Saul Alinsky could envy. If the news gets you down, turn in to Roland Garros tomorrow and enjoy Memorial Day in honor of our military personnel who have given their lives in service of our nation fighting to keep us free. I think that is because we are taught that we are unique and we address problems and come up with solutions - the color of our skin enhances our uniqueness. I know that sounds arrogant but with the exception of our allies like the Aussies who helped with X-Corp at Chosen in North Korea, the Royal Canadians, et al - who jumps in to help other nations when they are being beaten down by tyranny? I have often said that no one will come to assist us and I believe that is true; not because they don't support us in the ideal but how can they throw in with us when at every turn our president looks for ways to denigrate us at every turn. Why doesn't he have the Mexican military on the Mexican side of our border stopping the illegals coming here? And will someone read the Posse Commitas Act and see that it does not keep armed folks from protecting our nation from an invasion. It was designed to keep our federal military from occupying our cities as in Reconstruction following the Civil War. When our president is speaking and tells us he is thinking about how to solve problems such as the oil leak in the Gulf, then is the time to get worried. They won't even let LA (Louisiana) build sand berms to protect themselves. And we want the EPA to have more control over our daily lives with Cap and Trade. God help us. God protect and preserve our troops. Two of my uncles are buried in Arlington so my love for our nation and our people is deep-seated. A direct relative was a general during the Revolutionary War and relatives fought on both sides of the conflict in the War Between the States. The lawlessness encouraged by this administration is a slap in the face to all law-abiding Americans and all immigrants who come here following our laws... God bless America. Federer's Coach or Spotter: the job for me!

Today, yesterday Federer played Falla, and Roger did what I had recommended based upon his play the day before. I had been screaming at the TV screen (not literally) move up to the net; change-up your game, vary your shots, use those key skills you have and you'll win this tournament. I'm certain I was not the only one pleading with you to do the same things but when you do play each game, set, and match bringing on the "heat" as they say in baseball, you are something to watch, Mr. Federer. Against Falla, Mr. Federer did exactly what I recommended and played the match with a flick of the wrist, a few well-placed drop shots, and excellent volleys. And Roger won. He was probably expected to win but Falla gave him a good run during the first set. What a great match. Keep on changing up your game, Mr. Federer and you'll defend your title like the champion you are. In addition to being your spotter, I can also baby sit and double as a dog walker. I'd be spotting you of course. Naturally, I cannot play tennis but I can observe it and I know when you need to take risks which in your hands are not risks at all, you make it seem so easy and to watch your footwork is poetry or tennis ballet in motion on the order of the perfection of Mikhael Baryshnidov in the movie, White Nights with Gregory Hines; come to the net and show us your stuff and its all yours at Roland Garros. Don't want to down play the skills and ability of your fellow competitors yet what other folks have in power, you have in power and style too. Not to mention the extra skills you have in your tennis bag. We, your fans, just want to see more of them... I've been told your top half of the draw is tougher but let me remind you that all those between you and the trophy have to win over those players between you and the trophy. I know you know this but when you are allowing others to push you a bit please remember, go to the net, toss in those spectacular drop shots, and know these are your years to pick up a few more trophies to add to your NetJet commercial...

Obama's march to destroy the middle class

Income shifts from private sector as government income rises, well of course. Obama will tax the middle class private sector out of business as part of his agenda to crush the middle class and bring us to our knees. I've never seen a president who disliked the nation and people who gave him the presidency more than Mr. Obama dislikes us, those of us who work hard for our incomes and who are in his cross-hairs for destruction. We have to be Marxists and we all have to be brought to heel. We are not even allowed to voice disagreement with his agenda without being called vicious, anti-American, and more. Perhaps much of Obama's distain for the middle class is because he is not of that class. He is an elitist born with the silver spoon in his mouth; he is the product of affirmative action; and he denigrates American exceptionalism, hard work and drive. Who does he thinks provide the tax dollars to distribute around the world? But one thing we know now for certain: Mr. Obama is relentlessly on the lookout for something to apologize for. Maybe he should point out that our nation ended slavery within our nation while slavery is still very much a part of the world in Islamic Republics and we are importing slaves from Mexico as workers and as sex-slaves. His lack of pride in his nation and in the people of our nation is disgusting to watch. So, we have to re-introduce God into our lives, find a good Bible-based church for yourself and your children and for goodness sake, stay away from his "faith-based" initiatives...

Roger Federer at Roland Garros

Recently, Federer lost to Rafa Nadal at the Madrid Open. I love to watch Roger Federer play; he is perfect and I am hardly qualified to point out one observation that I have made note of in other posts. Roger is meticulous and an artist to watch on the tennis court - clay, hard court, or grass and yet the same trait becomes obvious from time to time: the inability to stop doing the same things that lead to losses. Roger will not change his game to the point that he is almost stubborn in staying with a game that will assure defeat. Each time I have seen Roger be defeated, the defeat is nearly 99.9% due to Roger not changing his game to use his infinite ability and skill to adapt to change a loosing match into a winner. I just scream - go up to the net! GO UP TO THE NET! When Federer goes to the net in tough matches, he wins. Personally I cannot stand to watch him lose a match, so much so that I get to the point, I just can't watch, and he may well be the best all around tennis player of all time. Roger, please remember the axiom: if you keep doing the same things that lead to a loss and you keep on doing them, you cannot expect a different result. It's almost like the Bourne Identity when over a few years, the men who are Jason's opponents are younger by a few years and have been trained differently as times and fighting styles have changed. So, like Jason Bourne, Mr. Federer needs to adjust to the changing times. He has the skills and more capability and a masterful drop shot. He just needs to use these to spice up his game and give his fans a taste of the variety of options he has. In Madrid with the loss to Nadal, I had to wonder if he has gotten tired and has won just about everything he can win, so much so that, to me, he didn't look as though he were engaged in the match "inside", mentally or spiritually. I love to watch Federer and will be up watching him at 5:00AM tomorrow morning. I just can't stand to see him take a loss when all he needs to do is adapt his game... Roger is the defending winner of Roland Garros in 2009. It seems Nadal is favored to win but I'm in Roger's camp. Going to Roland Garros would be a dream for me...

Rafa Nadal vs Mina at Roland Garros

What a match! I love pro-tennis and I've seen plenty of good, intense matches on clay but this match between Mina up against Rafa has to be a best of... Ups, downs, strengths, weaknesses but this is a match, an introduction or initiation to the games of the big boys. Mina played every point except for his "trainer" moment. Rafa moved Mina all over the court and wore him out. The interesting thing for me was that Rafa showed no mercy, gave away no points, and Mina fought back with some very good returns and vollies. Rafa, from my observation, hammered Mina and gave Mina a good initiation into the "majors"with the big boys. Rafa of course is favored to win and outmatched the young 18 year old Mina. I think Mina at 18 up against Rafa at 23/24 and his gazillion wins found himself in a brutal match. It was good to see Mina fighting hard and to see Rafa brutal and concise in his shots. He worked at giving Mina a drubbing but Mina can be nothing but pleased with his introduction by Rafa to what you have to have to play against the best King of Clay. If Mina takes this match as a time of a lifetime, I believe that he has the potential to rise quickly in the standings - why - because he fought and often gave as good as he got. He hung in there to the bitter end. As much as I admire Rafa Nadal and am glad to see his health much improved, I admire him more today for treating Mina as an equal on the court. If he wants it, Mina has a career cut out for himself. Also, considering that Rafa may be playing Mina again in a few years to come and probably wants Mina to remember his initiation today. I enjoy watching the pros on the tennis tour and now to begin to see the players of the future coming along in the early days of their pro careers. I don't think anyone can take away from Mina his effort and his willingness to take risks and to get out there and take the punishment that Rafa gives out, relentless, crushing expert, almost miraculous consistency.

Feds may not help Arizona process illegals referred to ICE. Shame on Janet Napolitano, former governor of Arizona, leaving her former citizens hanging in the wind. States must take matters into their own hands and defend their citizens from the crime and destruction of property of state citizens. When a generally small state like Arizona, population wise is forced to do the Feds job, using the Feds own illegal immigrant laws, to defend its citizens that must be a slap in the arrogant faces of Holder and Janet who at least had the good grace to admit not having read the Arizona legislation. This issue will boil into our streets and I predict that drug cartels and human traffickers will bring their Colombian-style intimidation into our cities and parks. We could say let's wait and see but it is beyond the wait and see stage. Homes are being destroyed and citizens or visitors to Arizona are being kidnapped. The State Department has issued warnings that the safety of American citizens along our Southern border cannot be assured, nor can the safety of citizens be assured in Arizona. The Feds certainly have turned their back on us. It has to be embarrassing to the 'thugs from Chicago' when they demonstrate that they will not or may not help a state enforce Federal immigration law and they won't enforce Federal immigration law within states. We have reached a sad day in America but then maybe our Executive Branch wants a Colombian-style drug cartel or insurgency along the Arizona border to give them an excuse to put the restraints on law-abiding American citizens. Tired of hearing about this. Well, hold on because there is a lot more to hear and see. But for starters let's take a look at Cochise County, AZ to refresh our memory. Boycott Mexico not Arizona

Calderon, Calderon addresses Congress and steps in it by lecturing us on immigration laws when Arizona is only trying to protect its citizens and their property and Mexico has its army with real ammunition stationed on its Southern border. Then we have bankrupt California boycotting Arizona. I say, pull the plug on LA and they can read their signs in all languages in the dark. Then let's boycott Mexico. Our State Department warns that our safety cannot be assured along our Southern border; Phoenix, Arizona is the kidnapping capital of the world or US at least, and folks are being beheaded in Mexico. Let's just keep our Yankee tourist dollars here at home or vacation elsewhere. There are plenty of places to visit in the US in the mid or Southwest. And while we are doing that, visiting here at home, let's get our government to take taxes out of the dollars illegals from Mexico send to Mexico every year. Make it an export tax; just tax it so that the money is not worth much by the time it gets to Mexico and we'll be taxing illegals providing a disincentive to come here. While we are at it then we have to tax banks such as the Bank of America for every dollar they transfer into accounts in Mexico receiving Yankee dollars from illegals here in the US. Perhaps in all these banking laws the Democrats are passing, we should penalize banks for allowing folks they know are illegals to open accounts here or to deposit US dollars into accounts in Mexico. Aren't there laws against money-laundering? Keep those cruise lines away from Cancun and away from the Mexican Pacific Ocean ports of call or lay additional taxes on the money we take into Mexico through tourism. On a lighter note, Obama tells us that we don't need to worry about illegals from Mexico learning English, we need to make sure our children are learning Spanish. Here I agree with him for several reasons not the least of which is when we become a One World government we should get a world passport allowing us unrestricted travel to South America. Not all South American land districts, no longer sovereign nations, have Spanish as their general language so knowing Spanish should give us greater mobility. I am reminded by a person's comments about illegal immigration into and around San Diego. The writer said we would not have to be concerned about illegal immigration once we became a Third World nation. The Executive Branch is bent on this occurring but I wonder if they realize that once they have brought us into Third World status, they will be depleting their own beggar based constituency's desire to come here. Our parks and waterways are already being destroyed with debris, feces, and general filth. We cannot expect people who are no respecters of our laws to give a flip about maintaining the beauty of our lands, parks, streams, etc. Interesting how things have unintended consequences. It would be nice when Hispanic Americans come to realize that they are by nature conservatives and Republicans...not union thugs. Let's keep our Yankee tourist dollars out of Mexico. Calderon should be ashamed of himself. Our president and our dems in Congress cannot be ashamed of themselves because they have no shame just their mighty agenda for absolute control over us from cradle to grave and through their "death care legislation" they'll have more control on when the plug is pulled on us through denial of medical treatment. Oh, happy day... We should be rewarding Arizona and other states such as North Carolina should adopt Arizona's laws regarding illegal immigrants. Virginia might think about doing the same as Virginia Beach, like San Francisco, is a sanctuary city where Federal immigration laws may or may not be enforced. But don't call taxpayer funded ICE, no help there as they won't help Arizona with folks identified as illegals. This will all come to a head and that is just what the Executive may want. if they don't have a crisis to use, they can create one BUT they cannot always know the outcome. I think the governor of Arizona can call out the national guard so why wait on help from an administration that wants the chaos? Remember, we need to be careful not to scream too loudly for help because that is just another crisis they'd be happy to address with stricter laws on us.

I have had a difficult time trying to write about this issue because I do not look at Islam as a religion but rather as a political party at the very least in line with the goals of our current Congress, our Executive Branch, and our president. Christians cannot build churches in Islamic Republics and yet we allow mosques with inflammatory imams to rise like places fomenting revolution all across the United States. Islamists are here to overthrow our nation, and like Obama fundamentally change our way of life through the institution of Sharia Law which is Islamic law taken from the Koran. You can't have it both ways, being a "peaceful religion on one hand" and the bedrock for upheaval. Regarding Christian churches in Islamic Republics, those that exist from years gone by cannot be repaired and Christians, allowed to practice their religion do it for a fee or tax much in opposition to Jefferson's early attack upon non-Anglicans being taxed in Virginia for practicing being Baptists among other religions. We have "freedom from religion" in America but most religions in America do not have a Twenty Year plan to destroy America and bring it to heel in submission to Islam. To me, in America, Islam as practiced by those who want to undo our nation is not a religion in the classic sense but a political party or a political arm of Islamic Republics or nations such as Saudi Arabia which reputedly practices the most virulent form of Islam, Wahabbism. We need to be ever vigilant and frankly we have to be smarter. The Islamists in America are using our laws against us and we are smart enough to use our laws against them. We'd best get to it. Islamists have created a new threat and we are just not used to our "religions" intent on overthrowing the government. In the current Executive Branch, they have supporters because the goals are the same, although the means may be different. Beware Sharia Law. It is in our banking, domestic and international, in our schools, etc. Perhaps we need to get a little tougher as France is trying to do - for our own survival. Religious freedom is fine but what happens when it crosses the line and you find yourself having to defend yourself. Do you think you'll have religious freedom much longer? Don't buy into Obama's faith-based initiatives no matter how good the money looks. When the government gets involved and your church takes tax dollars, you've sold your soul for much less than 30 pieces of silver. With Islamists all is symbolism like the crescent shaped memorial in PA where Flight 93 went down, like the beheading of Daniel Pearl, Lost in Obama's imagination. The Islamists gain strength and momentum through symbolism. What better place for a 13 story mosque and Islamic community center? Each and every day, they can look out of their windows, what a marvelous stroke of propaganda, a visual reminder of the worst attack against America, and see the handiwork of fellow travelers and they will be free to teach supremacy... At the very least we should put a stop to foreign money from Saudi Arabia peppering our nation with mosques unless we have equal freedom to pepper Saudi Arabia with Christian churches and Jewish temples. And second, we must not allow anti-American imams into our prisons to recruit new adherents to violence. Can't do that, you say? Just declare Islamists as a political party and of course you can. I don't believe all Muslims want to destroy our nation nor are all Muslims in America terrorists but all recent terrorists have been and are Muslims. Stop the building of that mosque over-looking the site where the World Trade Centers once stood. It is a mockery and an insult to all of us and to the 3,000 souls of all ethnicities and all religious belief systems who were slaughtered like sheep to the killing streets of Denmark. Like it or not, we are going to be forced to face those who have declared war against us. It won't be a pretty sight. I do hope that we will be able to keep our heads about us and not turn toward SEIU-type intimidation. We must protect law-abiding followers of Islam even as we fight those sworn to destroy us. One thing we know for certain, they are faithful to their oath just as those elected swine sworn to defend our Constitution and defend our nation are indifferent to their oaths of office. D.C. Metro police escorted SEIU protesters to Greg Baer's Home. Well, boy howdy! No wonder D.C. is the Murder Capital of the United States what with D.C. police escorting unlawful protesters of the SEIU thug variety onto the private property of an executive of Bank of America. Of course, police are supposed to "protect and serve" and it looks like these days they protect and serve the thugs. Can you imagine how Baer's young son felt with his home surrounded with thugs even up to and onto the front porch? I'm not a lawyer but it seems to me that Mr. Baer has plenty of reasons to sue the D.C. Metro Police for at the very least stupidity and the SEIU for any number of things, among them "domestic terrorism" and protesting on private property, his front lawn and front porch. But never fear, the protesters were being guided and protected by the D.C. Metro Police who had no authority to protect the young man who had locked himself in his bathroom. How shameful of the police. The dad had to find a safe way into his home to rescue his younger son with his older son also in the family car/vehicle. Well, this is what America has come to with a "community organizer" in the White House whose initial jobs were grant funded positions so that he could organize communities to sue banks among other things such as create and serve on the boards of foundations and launch his political career from the home of Billie Ayers, the son of an executive as well as our own domestic terrorist before we really knew what they were. Welcome to Obama land, the land of Saul Alinsky - that great community organizer of whom both Obama and Hillary Clinton also from Chicago are most proud. A citizenry in upheaval is what the Executive wants because if they don't have a "crisis which is a terrible thing to waste" they will be in a position to create a "crisis." Welcome to Lenin's Revolution. First they came for the banks then they turned all industry and agriculture into "communes" or communist governed areas of work. The one thing we know positively is that the socialist/communist governed lifestyle or work ethic does not work because there is no incentive except the barrel of a government gun for citizens to work and keep what they earn and no incentive to develop "American exceptionalism." I still think that our elite elected leaders sworn to protect and defend our nation and our U.S. Constitution better be careful what they wish for. They are importing folks used to domestic marches and such that can become nasty. They are importing folks who are used to domestic acts of insurrection and revolution. Of America, Canada, and Mexico, which of these three land masses not defined by their borders, therefore not sovereign nations, have had the most revolutions by their citizens in the past 100 or so years? We are beginning to see that Obama wants to destroy this nation and he can be successful but never forget, what man creates, we Americans can undo no matter how deep the termites infest our "first principles." New citizens from Mexico of Hispanic heritage, not all from Mexico are of Hispanic heritage as you'll find if you check the CIA World Fact Book, are conservative and don't want revolution for their children. They need to band with conservatives in the Tea Party program and/or conservative Republicans because they are much more alike than they are different. The all want stable families, most are against abortion and all for punishing child molesters or rapists, they believe in strong Christian values and they have no natural animosity against their European neighbors otherwise known as "white" people, the so-called scourge of the earth. Together Americans can undo the harm being created by Obama and the "congress" he has worked pretty hard. There is hardly a bill or piece of legislation coming out of congress that is less than 1,000 pages. Keep the Baer family in mind. Is that intimidation and chaos what you want on your porch and lawn frightening your children and family? Is that the anarchy that America is all about? No...

I think Arizona could become a model for the nation in curbing the influx of illegal aliens from Mexico and other nations such as China as well as the Islamist Jihadists who want to kill us. It will be nice when we have a president of the United States, assuming we survive 2 and 1/2 more years as a nation "not defined by borders". I never thought I'd live to see a president and an administration that looked for any and all opportunities to tear down our nation, to denigrate it before the world, and to send us into bankruptcy. To think our president would allow a foreign nation's president to denigrate Federal Law on immigration on the floor of the House and support those views and then to see Congressmen give Calderon a standing ovation for denigrating our nation and Arizona for trying to uphold US Federal Immigration law defies belief. But as Rush Limbaugh mentioned today, Obama has his boot on the neck of America and "the jack-booted thugs" from Chicago are running rough shod with their shiny black boots all over America praying for the next crisis to turn to their advantage. We have to pray for no successful Islamist terrorist attack and we have to pray for no violence from American citizens because we cannot give the Chicago "thugs" any reason to declare martial law 'cause they're just itching for that. And any reason will do... Now we have ICE and Janet Napolitano saying they won't help Arizona deport illegals. Well, folks, ICE and Janet are paid by American tax dollars - tax dollars from ALL Americans and the Federal government won't help a state in dire straits? We have our dictator but it is best if we don't let him know we know that the emperor has nothing on under that suit or rain coat. As the cartoonist for the Washington Times wrote during the presidential election cycle, Obama is an empty raincoat. That was the cartoon. Perhaps he will get stopped to show "his papers" in Arizona, then maybe we'll find out if he is an American citizen. With his dislike for this nation, based upon his behavior, one has to wonder. The folks in Iowa voted for him in the Democrat caucus process and now we're stuck with him. I wonder how that's working for them - those folks in Iowa. Ben Nelson of OK made out well in his buy-out bargain sale for his vote to hamstring us into Obama medical death panels. It looks like the largess of the Executive pays off for the Senators with no integrity. And the administration has plenty of perks so it can "do a Nelson" any time it needs votes. On Calderon, keep out of our national politics and keep your citizens at home. Of course, we know you are violating our immigration laws simply because your miserably corrupt land mass, no borders there, needs the money. A "nation" without borders is "no nation" at all. Even if others, pro-American in their ideologies get into the Congress or Senate in 2010, the Executive still has "Executive Orders" so Obama can do essentially what he wants to carry out his coup against America. Only one woman's opinion but it looks like a coup to me...

With Neville Barack in the White House, our allies cannot afford to be our allies because any president who will sell out and demean his nation and his states such as Arizona trying to implement Federal Immigration Law, will not be there when the rubber meets the road for our Allies. Barack Obama only makes our enemies rejoice at our stupidity or naivete and they will take full advantage of his Socialist/Marxist policies to turn America into a third world nation. With friends like Calderon to the South not trying to keep his people from invading us because he needs the money they send to Mexico and a US president saying a nation is not defined by its borders, we are literally in Peking Duck Soup... Kagan Senate Hearings: Why bother? I think it is a waste of taxpayer money to waste one second in Senate Hearings over the nomination of Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court. Nothing short of well who knows what will stop her being confirmed in the Senate by the "evil" democrats and the RINOs from Maine. Are there concerns about her becoming an Associate of the Supreme Court? Sure? On this one I have to take a pass. The Republicans will confirm her some may vote NO as they should for the record but "hearings" are a joke unless something comes out of the blue to derail her confirmation. The Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee are so sleazy that watching them would be a waste. At least Arlen Specter won't be there much longer. Thank God for small favors. Maybe God has not turned his back on us after all.

Hispanics take political aim at Arizona's law? Could that be true? probably not but this situation makes it appear so. If you read this article, please read the comments. Once American citizens of Hispanic ancestry see their taxes going to support free-loaders and once they see their children's livelihoods weakened by illegal aliens maybe they'll change their tune. Or maybe they'll have to be robbed or have someone in their family injured or maimed as was my friend before they realize that we are either a nation of laws or we are a nation of anarchy and believe me, we don't want the latter. I agree with several commentors that this is not a "racist" issue. This is a law and order issue and those who are against Arizona's law are for criminals coming and breaking more laws. I have a friend maimed for life including the loss of one eye during a car accident when she was driving and she and her mother were hit head-on by a drunk illegal Mexican. Of course, Jerry Rivera also says that is a cultural heritage thing and getting drunk is just part of the Hispanic culture. How patronizing of him... Maybe he could explain that to another friend of mine whose husband was killed in a head-on car injury when they were returning home and were hit by a drunk illegal alien in Virginia. Or maybe he could explain that to the two families who lost their young daughters in Virginia Beach a year or so ago when they were hit by a drunk illegal alien from Mexico, a driver who stole their lives and denied them ever getting married or having children, who denied their parents of the joy of grandchildren and the joy of watching and participating in their daughters growing into young adulthood and on. My friend's mother was killed by the drunk illegal, here illegally, driving illegally, and a murderer. Yeah, let 'em all in. Have we lost our minds? Yes and just because politicians want votes. I applaud the governor of Arizona and the Legislature folks for standing up for the defense of their citizens. No other nation in the world allows its borders to be over-run. Get your campers and send several thousand Americans zooming across into Mexico. Wait and see how fast they are rounded up and jailed then blackmailed by Mexican authorities. We have lost our sovereignty and our dignity. How can any nation respect a nation that doesn't respect itself? If you were in leadership in another nation would you trust a word out of the mouth of several of our recent presidents including the current one? Not in anything dealing with defending your nation. If you did, you'd be an idiot when our nation's leaders have no regard for the safety of the 12,000 Americans killed every year on the highways by illegals not to mention their other crimes. Support Arizona. If you don't support Arizona, who will be there to support you? Through the indifference of our federal government - not the Border Patrol - our lives are at risk and we are denied the opportunity for life, liberty, and the pursuit of our dreams and ambitions because of that risk from government leaders who are sworn to at the very least defend the nation from invasion. Oh, they'll be happy to defend our borders if / when we are ready to give up more freedom.
