McCain: run for president or pack it in!
The following post is from Watch Dog at Mindless and Spineless, just couldn't say it better: It is time for McCain to get off the pot!.
Watch Dog has it "right-on". The Senators may talk like wimps on the floor of the Senate but we don't need this "whussie-fying" when a man's running for President of the United States.
Senator McCain, get up and fight or roll-over and be run over.
I say, FIGHT! Knock the blocks out from under this kid with no record and Middle Eastern support. Do you think his "beggar based" constituents are sending in those checks to add up to $300,000,000.00? The same folks who re-elected School-bus Nagan in New Orleans who let them nearly drown?
Get the lead out, McCain. Make me believe in you! Make me believe you "give a darn" about conservative, constitutional values! Make me believe you will defend our nation from the invasion of illegals -- come on, McCain!
Put 'em up or Barry's gonna mop up the map....

I absolutely agree with your point of view ... I keep thinking Mac understands that most voters have the memory of a gnat ... so he wants to wait until the general elections kick off before he gets serious. Let me rephrase that: such is my hope. Time will tell, but this is a "move it or lose it" proposition.

Rush Limbaugh himself states that he is only an entertainer. Quit taking his rants as gospel. You are clearly an "Old Testament Fundamental" that follows NONE of Jesus' teachings.

ReplyDeleteYour post was written July 12th. Now I have watched a video from July 25th with John McCain coming out of a German restaurant in Columbus OH and is asked a tongue and cheek a question about eating in a German restaurant while Barack Obama is in Germany.
ReplyDeleteMcCain proceeds to pull, presumably food, from his teeth with his right hand before attempting to answer the question. Standing next to McCain is Lyndsey Graham sucking food from his teeth with his tongue.
Now Barack Obama is on the world stage with an "almost" endorsement from French President Sarkozy, meeting with Merkle in Germany, Brown and leaders of the other parties in England and this is the best we get from John McCain.
I call McCains press office and I get blown off by a smarmy little jerk who has an emptier head than McCains.
Go to McCains website and the do the parody on the press falling in love for Obama with a chance to vote for your favorite song.
This from a man who wants to be President.
I'm seriously checking for property in the Caymans.

ReplyDeleteOh, Josh - where is the love and tolerance for one such as I in such need of help. Jesus mentioned turning the other cheek; He did not direct us to allow ourselves to be run over nor our children (all of our American children) killed nor did He direct us to allow our women to be subjugated.
What you so harshly criticized me for earlier and of course used the liberal's first line of attack, calling me a "racist" has been done before. But I'll tell you what makes me sick - saddling any of our children with the mentality of low expectations in failing government schools. I have taught all ethnic groups represented in the United States both in country as well as overseas and I have taught them all to be Americans - proud of their combined heritage and culture, able to enter good colleges and universities including our military academies.
If I am a racist because I spit on any educational system that allows a bright young black female student to graduate unable to write a simple paragraph or to read well enough to go on to college - then so be it! If I am a racist - according to you - because I view Obama as an empty suit - so be it. He is smart enough to live off of the tax payers starting with those "community organizer" grant funded jobs. But he was raised in the most elite schools available to him in Hawaii and I would suspect knows very little about the "black" experience in America. And as for the American Indians - everyone migrated here.
Read "A Dream Deferred" by Shelby Steele. Maybe you'll think he's "racist" too. No, he's a smart man who happens to have black skin and has written brutally about the "token black" that all liberals love to have around to make them feel better.
On Obama - he insulted all of us when he went to Germany and made a point of saying that the Germans had never had a prominent American black man speak before them... I wonder if General Colin Powell ever spoke to the Germans.
